This product seems to be of good value, still to use and see how they try out round all 4 wheels but hopefully they will do in the long run
The product looks good, the purple stands out from any other colour you see
I use a kranzle pressure washer to was our two cars about twice a month, and I’m just sorry I didn’t buy these years ago. I always found myself bending over to free the snagged hose pipe from the car wheels, or try to whip the hose away from the car. I saw these and decided to get them to see if they really worked or not; and man……they do. What a game changer……you basically can walk around the cars freely, without a single snagging of the hose, it just freely glides around the tyres. Super job
Smart and compact this product allows you to wash your car without catching the hose on the tyres. Product has a convenient loop to hang them for storage and drying purposes. They are also very easy to use, push in place and away you go. Only thing to remember is to remove them after washing.
Anyone who has washed their car with a hose has probably had the situation where the hose wedges itself under a wheel and pulling on it just makes it wedge in further.
This frustrating situation can be eliminated with these simple yet clever guards, just place one under each wheel before you start washing the car and the hose will glide effortlessly around your car, no more trapping.
The guards are shaped to wedge themselves under a tire and have a roller that allow the hose to pass unhindered.
The guards also have “key holes” on them so they can easily be stored on a a hook or screwhead, great for keeping things organised.
Overall great little devices which mean I can now wash my car without have to stop every few minutes to release my hose from under a wheel.
Handy when washing the car to stop the really annoying thing of the hose getting stuck, or bashing against the rest of the car while you keep away from the tyres
They work really well, sliding under the wheels and locking into place thanks to the shape of them. They really do look too small to do the job but work well. I did find placing closer to the outside of the tyre helps a lot and stops the hose catching the tyre at all.
Construction seems sold, but make sure to remove them as they wont survive being driven over if you forget them!
Love the purple colour, lots are black I would be worried about them being harder to spot and easier to forget, with purple under the wheels you for sure spot them!
I happen to be that neighbour most people seem to have that wash their car once a week or so and my biggest annoyance is getting the pressure washer or regular hose stuck under the tyres as you move around the car and then have to faff around pulling it out, so was keen to give this simple product from CAD Detailing a try.
In the pack you get 2 tyre guards (they do a 4 pack, but i only really needed 2 for the rear wheels).
Each one is essentially a diamond shaped plastic wedge that you place underneath the car/motorbike tyre, which then prevents the hose from getting trapped and pinched in the little gap between the tyre and the road.
At the rear of the guard, you have a simple plastic spindle allowing any hose that sits against it to move freely as you pull it.
Finally, you have a simple but handy hanging hole to storage.

I have to say that this is a really simple idea, but it works really well and has put an end to that annoying snagging that i got every single time i washed the car.
The plastic feels reasonably strong (although i’m not sure i would call it “Heavy Duty” as in the items title), but I would expect it to last quite a long time.
Although the hose would be prevented from getting stick with just a plain wedge, i like having the spindle as it just makes it a little easier when pulling it.
I was a little concerned that the guard would move around in use, but so far it has stayed in place nicely.
Time will tell just how “heavy duty” the product is, but for 11.99 for a pair, i think the price is pretty reasonable and definitely worth buying if you are one of those people that washes the car each week.
