This car cover arrived very beautifully and securely packed in a box.
This car cover is very important to keep your car safe from all weather conditions and general damage such as scratches etc because it protects the car once it’s covered. It’s so useful if your car is parked on the road or even in your own driveway.
The good thing is that it will protect your car from all weather conditions and in all type of weather such as hail, snow, rain etc. It also keeps your car clean and dustfree so less trips will be needed to the car wash.
I park my car on my private carpark however my car keeps getting dirty due to bird poo and leaves falling on my cars roof and windscreen. So since I have started covering it, my car stays clean.
highly recommended
I travel a lot for work so leave my car in the garage whilst i am away. But it gets dusty and affected by the weather each time. This cover is perfect to protect from all weather eventualities whilst still ensuring the car is accessible without removing the cover. It’s easy to install, feels strong and well made and is fit for purpose.
Highly recommend
The material feels thick and durable, yet surprisingly breathable. I don’t worry about moisture buildup or mildew, even when leaving the cover on for extended periods. The two zippered doors are a brilliant feature, allowing me to access the interior without completely removing the cover. The mirror pockets are a thoughtful touch, ensuring a snug fit and extra protection for the mirrors.
The cover is easy to put on and take off, and it comes with a handy storage bag. The elastic hem keeps it snugly in place, even in windy conditions. I’ve used it on both my saloon and hatchback, and the fit has been perfect each time.
Overall, this car cover has given me peace of mind knowing my car is protected from the elements. It’s durable, breathable, and easy to use. If you’re looking for a reliable car cover that can withstand all weather conditions, this is a worthy investment.

This was ordered to replace an old cover that I left in the shed for a month and which I discovered had been eaten by mice when I took it out.
This cover is a great replacement and better than the original. the material is good quality with strong stitching and good craftsmanship. There is a clip buckle and ties to hold it in place in bad weather. These work well in moderate weather but during some exceptionally strong wind the cover did lift at one end. I will probably add a couple more straps and buckles to overcome this problem. There is an elasticated hem at the bottom which is good for everyday situations but is also not strong enough for very high winds. However, it does keep everything in place in normal weather.
I haven’t taken it apart so I can’t vouch for the layers of material it claims are used but it keeps my car clean and dry. There are also no signs of dampness when I remove it, so I think the claims to breathability are correct. The zips are a great innovation. There have been a few instances when I have left something in the car and being able to unzip the cover and open the door is much easier than removing the cover. I think the material doesn’t hold dirt in the same way the car does because the cover is never as dirty as the car gets and there is a lot less bird mess on it.
There is a storage bag included for when it is not in use though I have to admit I tend to just stick the cover in the boot. It’s a nice addition though for when it isn’t being used for extended periods.
For the money this is a fantastic cover and definitely worth every penny.
This cover is very nicely made. It is far superior to the cheap single layer thin covers that I’ve used previously that always seem to get blown off even in the lightest of winds.
This cover is much heavier and has a soft inner surface which should help minimise scratches to the paintwork. However, I would always advise washing the car before covering as even the lightest dusting of dirt can end up working like sandpaper on the paintwork as the cover moves when being blown about in bad weather.
It is possible to deploy this with one person but I find it much easier to position correctly first time if two people put it over the vehicle – this also minimises the chances of scratching due to tugging and repositioning to get it in the right place with only one person.
Ideal for keeping bird droppings off the paintwork too if you live in an area with a lot of bird traffic – we have seagulls who seem to delight in covering the car every time we have just finished washing it, so now this will provide a handy barrier against their inbound bombing runs!
Great quality and should last for some time and I hope won’t perish after extended exposure to UV from the sun. (Actually, being that we are located in England, there isn’t any sun, so this should last for years!)
This car cover from Badgeshand is mid price range at 36.99 and as such represents good value for money. It doesn’t mean it’s perfect, because it’s not, but it does have some good features that similarly priced covers lack. One is cotton mirror pockets, and the other is zipped access to the car doors when the cover’s on.
As we haven’t had any high winds since I put this on my car I don’t know how it’ll stand up to adverse weather conditions. My guess is not too well. There aren’t enough straps and they don’t seem that strong. The elasticated bottom edge of the cover is a useful addition but is it enough to stop a high wind from working its way underneath?
The listing’s headline says the cover has 10 layers, but only shows and names 4 in one of the photos. The listing says the cover is coated in aluminium-that’s not one of the materials mentioned in the photo of the layers. The main thing with the layers is that the innermost one is cotton to protect the car body, and the outermost layer is waterproof to keep the weather from penetrating.
A statement in the listing:
“The rearview mirror is also equipped with a light strip, making your car clothes safer and avoiding collisions.”
I can’t even begin to think what Badgeshand are trying to say.
Most of my gripes concern the listing which is down to Badgeshand and not a criticism of the cover, with that my only concern is the security offered by the provided straps. For a few pounds additional strapping could be bought and then you’ll have a superb cover, and even with the extra outlay, at a very competitive price.
The material is thick and durable, effectively blocking dust, leaves and small particles from the vehicle, giving my car all-round protection when parked. The design is very considerate, the size is moderate, both compact cars and large SUVs can be perfectly covered, and the installation and removal are very convenient and quick, one person can easily handle. It is especially worth mentioning that it also has a certain waterproof function, even if it encounters a rainy day, you do not have to worry about the vehicle will be subjected to water damage.
10 Layers Car Cover Waterproof Breathable, Outdoor Full Cover Rain UV Snowproof Protection with 2 door Zipper Cotton Mirror Pocket,Fit Saloon/Hatchback Length(Up to 177″/450cm)
Great quality waterproof cover, good weight to it and feels good quality. Easy to put on and secure in place and also easy to take off. Material can be washed too with hose after the winter/bad weather.
Overall great value, offers ample protection. Would recommend.
I got this for a car that I now have off road, and it is the perfect sizing and fit. The material used is extremely high quality, absolute protection for my vehicle. It is certainly robust, durable and flexible. Really happy with this product!!
Absolutely love this car cover. I bought this to protect our garaged Jag XKR and it fits like a dream. It’s also suitable for various vehicle models, providing superior protection no matter where you park. I love how it has 10 layers of advanced materials used in this car cover provide grewt protection. From the non-woven fabric to the soft cotton lining, every layer is designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions. The highly reflective aluminum film not only offers UV protection but also enhances durability, making it more flexible and long-lasting than other covers.
When it comes to all-weather protection, this car cover truly does so. It effectively shields my vehicle from wind, dust, sunlight, rain, snow, and hail, ensuring that it stays in pristine condition year-round. The buckle straps and wind ropes ensure a snug fit, preventing the cover from being blown away by strong winds.
My driveway at home is right beneath two large trees and every day my car would get absolutely peppered by the birds.
It was costing me a fortune in daily trips to the sainsburys jet wash to clean it.
So I got this cover and I couldn’t be happier!
Takes me and my wife about 2 or 3 minutes to get it over the car and secured every day. So fast and easy to and it fits a charm. Even in high winds the other day, it didn’t move an inch.
One side is waterproof black and blue material with reflective strips by your lights and mirrors so cars can see it at night. The underside is a soft material meaning no scratching or damage to your car at all. I have had sheets in the past that had metal eyelets that would smack against my car door and cause tiny scratched – not this one.
And the bonus – no more bird dropping on my car. And the ones that land on the sheet quickly rinse away or flake off due to the material.
Such a car saver! 5*!
This car cover is great quality. The material is well designed – waterproof on the outside and soft on the inside to protect car from scratches. The reflective strips are great to keep your car visible and prevent anyone from bumping into it. The elasticated bottom helps hug the base to the car to give better fit, and best of all are the zips at the sides that allow for the doors to be opened – these are very convenient. i was not expecting something that was so well thought out and recommend it!
Took both of us to get this on, it’s not that’s it’s difficult but just a bit of a faff if there’s a breeze and the job was made quicker with two of us. Decent car cover and we use it on the car that seldom gets used and sits in under the carport. Helps keep the worst of the leaves, street dust, dampness etc off it. No complaints so far.
Covers the car well and protects it from frost/snow and also bird poo or tree sap, both of which can damage paint. I wouldn’t necessarily use it daily but if I had to park up for a few days, I would, so the birds don’t use it as a toilet. The cover is a bit tricky to put on and it was difficult doing it alone. Luckily it wasn’t windy when I did it, but I couldn’t do it alone on a windy day. Not had a chance yet to use it in the summer but it would certainly protect the car when it’s super hot.
Like the zippered sides as you can get inside the car without taking the whole thing off. A little bit pricey but I’m pleased with it.
As a car owner who values protecting my vehicle from the elements, I recently invested in the Car Cover Waterproof All Weather, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Here’s why:
First and foremost, the universal fit size of this car cover ensures that it’s suitable for various vehicle models, providing superior protection no matter where I park. With dimensions of 490190150 CM, it perfectly accommodates saloon cars with lengths ranging from 470 to 490 cm. Before purchasing, I appreciated the reminder to measure my vehicle to ensure a proper fit.
The 10 layers of advanced materials used in this car cover provide unparalleled protection. From the non-woven fabric to the soft cotton lining, every layer is designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions. The highly reflective aluminum film not only offers UV protection but also enhances durability, making it more flexible and long-lasting than other covers.
I particularly love the thoughtful design elements incorporated into this car cover. The unique color splicing and fusion make it easy to recognize my vehicle at a glance, while the rearview mirror light strip adds an extra layer of safety. Additionally, the double zipper doors allow for convenient access to the glove box or items inside the car, perfect for tight parking situations.
When it comes to all-weather protection, this car cover truly delivers. It effectively shields my vehicle from wind, dust, sunlight, rain, snow, and hail, ensuring that it stays in pristine condition year-round. The buckle straps and wind ropes ensure a snug fit, preventing the cover from being blown away by strong winds.
I got this Blue/Black car cover to protect my garaged 4.5m long Integra Type-R (DB8 variant) from dust etc. I chose the Y3 size (sized for 4.7 to 4.9m) because I wanted to allow for the rear spoiler.
The materials involved in this cover’s construction are quite good. The main outer material has an almost waxy feel, so I have confidence in its water repellant properties. The inner material is some sort of soft flock lining to protect your paintwork.
Both the front and rear have continuous elasticated seams to hug the car’s ends well. There’s a whole lot of material and stitching in this product. It all seems to be generally good quality but has a bit of loose finishing at the bottoms of the sewn zip covering flaps.
The door zips are a great touch and operate well.
Just to the rear of the B pillar position (pillar between front and rear doors), there’s a captive strap for slinging under the car to the other side. The buckle for this is pretty flimsy but I have better ones I may swap out with.
Aesthetically, the blue detailing panels and the reflective strips for the four corners and wing mirrors really ‘pop’.
There are two 4.8m long loose straps for deploying where needed. I haven’t decided if I’ll make these captive with buckles etc or just use long, lightweight ratcheting luggage straps for extra securing power. For my garaged use, the fit is quite good overall but if I was using outside in windy conditions, I’d definitely want to improve the straps. I might even be tempted to break out the sewing machine to better adjust the fit for my car’s unusual profile.
The supplied drawstring bag is handy and robust enough to store the Cover when not in use.
In summary, a really nice car cover that works well but is let down by poor straps.
I have this cover for a Mercedes CLK that I’ve had in storage for years. It’s constantly getting covered in dust, and requires frequent washes so I thought this cover would be a good idea.
It was reasonably easy to put on, I could have done it on my own, but it was easier with two of us. Once you find the mirrors which are marked with reflective strips, the rest was simple, of course it was a 50/50 that we had it the right way around, luckily we did. Now I did do this in a garage, I’m not sure it would be so easy in the wind, but that would be the same for any cover.
It’s quite thin but as long as it does the job I don’t think that’s a big issue, Inside is nice and smooth.
The one thing that did concern me when we unpacked it on the car was the metal hooks that are used to tie the cover on, I was worried of the risk of damage to the car as we try to figure out how to get it on which you have to do on the car, ideally these would be a high quality plastic, same for the zip for the doors.
Lucky for me the zip was reasonably aligned to the doors, at least enough to get the door open enough to get into the car if I really needed to. The CLK has massive doors so I was not expecting a miracle with this.
I was interested in seeing how waterproof it actually was as the car may need to spend a little time outside in the near future, so as per the video, I poured a glass of water over it, and it ran right of, no issues. I check the inside at the time and later and it was bone dry.
it appears to do a good job, just shame about metal parts which if you are careful won’t be an issue, but an unnecessary risk.
Not going to lie this is an absolute chore to put on (I have a Vauxhall Meriva so not even a massive car). It was so difficult and I nearly gave up. It definitely needs several people otherwise you risk doing what I did and bursting into tears. I was so frustrated by it.
However, it is a good quality cover and the size is fine, if a little big for my vehicle. The material is good and it looks fine when on. The buckles and straps are decent and I haven’t had any issue with them, they feel secure and strong enough and as long as you don’t yank on them or force them then they should endure.
It’s also versatile and it can be used in the summer as a shade against harsh sunlight so the car doesn’t overheat or to keep snow off in winter or leaves off in the autumn. Personally I think I’ll be sticking to using this in the winter as I can’t abide putting this on regularly but it will be handy when the white stuff falls.
It fitted my estate, but was difficult to put on even with a small wind over a large car surface. And once on some areas were baggy as the material was only fixed at a small number of points. . The taped connectors couldn’t pull the surfaces close together as they were relatively thin and the quick release clips opened with very little tension as the plastic didn’t have enough spring-force to resist the tensile force.
Cosmetically it did look good, the blue aluminised foil surface did reflect light, but not in a high reflectance safety way that was implied, it just reflected better than black, the small areas of actual reflective tape was good, but not enough and in positions that may make visibility on a road side difficult for other road users to see- effectively in a dark night, without street lights, this looks like a black hole and the blue aluminium flash doesn’t reflect like glass and paint does-so on-street parking may give some hazards.
I am not really sure where the 10 lavers comes form in the description, whilst not flimsy, the material has an outer wavered surface and an very thin soft-feel material (cotton? possibly spun fibres sprayed on) interior bonded to the outer skin, there may be other materials laid upon each other, but it’s not 10 layers of fabric more chemical.
Stitching of all panels and joints appeared effective, double stitched at the base, however the stitch distance is quite wide and may flex then open under stress and expand the stich holes. All the joints are seamed on the inside- which does mean that all the joints are in contact with the cars’ paintwork and not the soft cotton interior. Take care to ensure that there is no material caught in the seams when you put on as it will lead to paintwork scratching.
Presently although it gives good coverage, it doesn’t look as tailored as the photos, I do have a concern about it’s ability to deal with the winds we often get and the lightness of the fixings. I would suggest the best use of it would be light summer use as a way to keep the car’s interior protected from heat and UV, rather than over wintering. Time will tell as I am putting on throughout March and it may not be here that long.
