These are easy to use and perfect for my case. I have a set of 3 cases and whilst the main compartment is secured with a built in tsa lock, there’s 2 front zip compartments on all the cases that are not secured in any way which seemed a bit silly to me. I tried a padlock but that didn’t work unless i used one per zip. I saw these on offer and immediately grabbed them. WIth these the cable is longer and easy to feed through the zips. It only just fits but it does fit and allows me to secure both front zips with one lock. Just what i needed!
Didn’t read the instructions and didn’t have my glasses on when I set the combination. Lock had to be cut away.
However, it took some effort to do that which was encouraging and it was all my own fault. The other lock performed very well. Love the wire loop which means you can thread it through luggage zips and straps, even small openings.
Would use these again without hesitatio
These locks are the best I’ve come across easy to use. And should the customs Officers need to gain entry into my cases they don’t need to damage the locks in my absence as the locks conform to customs needs
Really pleased with these, they were bought for a locker and a suitcase. Really easy to use and are definitely a deterrent. Excellent value for money and I would highly recommend them.
Last time we went to USA on of our cases was damaged and the padlock cut off by someone doing a security check at the airport so we didn’t want it happening again. Using these padlocks stopped us being anxious about another damaged case.
A bit of a last minute purchase as I suddenly realised that my old lock didn’t fit my new Sportube hard ski case. There were delivered the next day and are perfect for this case. The cables may be not quite as thick as the Sportube branded locks, but if it’s got to that point neither of them will prevent a determined thief.
This is one of the best locks ever. The rotating dial is well oiled. The metal cable interconnecting the 2 ends of the lock are sturdy, strong and slim enough to pass through most zippers.
I’ve not been able to test the TSA aspect of the lock as I’ve never been to the USA
