Have purchased 2 of these for home use, super quality item and very comfortable during use. The only thing I would find fault in is the retail packaging…. Product would be better rolled not Folded into a box. Both mats have creases in them where folded and so far they have not come out. We have had Cimetech mats for some years now and have found them to be very good.
This just unrolls and goes into place. It has good anti-slip on the base and hasn’t shifted at all in normal use. It does show up crumbs and pet hair, but it’s easy to brush them off. My one gripe with this is that the slight waves in it have not yet smoothed out and that’s been a couple of days of it flat on my desk. The mouse surface itself works well. I get smooth cursor movement and no jumps. I just have to make sure that there are no crumbs or pet hair where my mouse is and I’m fine. At least I can see when it’s dirty.

First off one should take note of the actual dimensions given not the XXL description as this is not by any means a large mat as can be seen in one of the photos where I have laid it onto of another mat that I purchased a couple of days ago that was described as large.
My own fault I know for skipping through but still, a misleading description.
Other than that it is a nice quality mat, I’m not a gamer so can’t say how good it is for this but as someone who often spends up to 12 hours a day at my desk I do appreciate quality desk accessories, and this is one.
It comes folded rather than rolled but despite this it will take a while before it lays completely flat which can be seen in the photos,
The weight is nice and combined with the honeycomb rubberised backing it does stay put when typing, I have a very slippy desk so this is a must.
The mouse tracks smoothly and accurately so no complaints there, all in all a good looking and usable mat, particularly if you have a smaller desk .
Don’t know why I didn’t get this earlier, it’s excellent!

The mat i got was one of the larger ones, which fits along the desk and under the keyboard and mouse nicely. This mat lays really well naturally, and by that i mean it’s like it wants to lay flat, which is what you want. It also has a quality feel to the make of it and feel comfortable under the hand and mouse control. I can’t spak for how it is for gaming, as i don’t use my pc for gaming, nut as a mouse and keybard matt, i am certainly satisfied with the quality feel and functionality.

The size is as offered. I bought this mat so I can insulate my home office desk and this mat is perfect for it. On top of it the surface is wonderfully smooth.
Grips the table and doesn’t move.
Mouse slides smoothly across the mat.
There is a nice finish on the edges of the mat which help prevent it from flaring up over long term use.
The stitching around the edge is high quality, neat and unlike some mats its soft so should not irritate even sensitive wrists. (I purchased the black variant with red outer stitching).
The surface is smooth but does have a slight texture feel to it I would describe it as feeling similar to a nylon/cotton blend, a mouse moves beautifully on the mat not sliding around like it’s on ice but also not rough or gritty to move. It is as also mentioned water repellent, water will bead on it rather than soak in, which is nice if you spill a drink.
The bottom side is rubber, has a diagonal zigzag like pattern and grips to your desk just right, you can move it if you wish but it does not slide around. Both mats purchased lay perfectly flat, which I was worried about as these come in a box rather than rolled, but both are fine with no uneven bumps or lumps.
If I had to find any downsides then by my inaccurate measuring (just a ruler) I would put these more at 4mm to 4.5mm thick mark than the advertised 5mm but these are thicker than others I have had. The other minor downside but this will go for any desk mat which is black in colour is it will show dirt and dust so you need to brush it clean now and then, you will not need to wet it or wash it unless it becomes truly filthy just take a dry cotton cloth or duster and rub it gentle over the mat.
These are great and should last years. If many years down the line when these 2 have worn out I need a new desk mat and these are still around I would buy them again.
