How often does a person really need to know tyre pressure? I use a few different vehicles and some of them have tyres that slowly lose air over time when sat around for a while. The car will tell you that a tyre is low but it wont tell you which one. The pressure lossisnt sufficent to warrant a new tyre.
But because of my eyesight I am startign to require readign galsses for low ligh tand really small text but I dont carry them around with me so reading guages can be a bit of a faff. Its nice that this holds the reading once measured and can then be reset using teh butto
The pump works well though the touch panels sometimes need several pushes to get the pump started. I wish it offered car tyre pressures in psi, not just bar. You have to select the ‘bicycle’ option to get psi, but having done that, there’s no problem.
The instructions however are next to useless. Printed in a miniscule font size they offer no information as to the various options on the machine. It is all fairly intuitive, but instructions should be a lot more helpful than this. The Amazon site offers the real information within the marketing info and pictures. The manufacturer needs to put that info into the printed instructions.

Nicely made main unit but the online illustrations mention only 12VDC backup. The supplied version, ST-551C, is actually rated for 7.5V, as described both in the supplied manual and the attached label. The manual was unclear regarding charging. Discussion with the seller cleared up any misunderstanding. Also the standard “12V” car power connector itself was in bits within the box. Returned initially for refund.
