So the plate is nice and white but the controls look a little different than web photo. It’s a plug and play product (but must be plugged into cooker socket).
The buttons respond well.
Each heat spot has a different power range – 2 x 1200/1500 1 x 1800/2300 & 1 x 2000/2300.
There is a booster button and child lock button. In general it’s same as my old one and it works fine.
As you know it will only take an induction appropriate pots (the ones that are magnetic). Instructions are easy to understand too.
I hope there will be less scratches visible on this one in comparison to my old black one.
I hope my review and photos were helpful.
Easy to install, easy to work, looks good, however it can be easily turned off it you brush Over the off button by mistake, heats up well, cools down very quick, very easy to clean, good price for an induction hob, preforms as e tested heats up relatively quick and cools down just as quick. Would buy again for the price does what I expect, not all singing and dancing but great for making the tea at a good price, quick delivery. Would buy again if I needed another.
Brilliant that can simply plug into socket and away you go. Be aware, because it is plug in, it is not possible to have all the plates on full power(9) all together. However, I managed 3 plates at 7 and one plate at 6 all on at the same time. Power boost is available as is keep warm function.
Only 2 in our family but managed fine at Christmas for family of 6. Would recommend for small families but may need to be hard wired for full functions for larger families.
Very easy to install. Feels quality. Removed gas hob, put a bit of timber across the middle of the hole left, slotted in to one side. Fitted a slate (cpl of cuts (jigsaw), rounded corners), slotted that into the remaining space. Looks good . Easy controls, efficient and quick heat as said on the tin.

We love our induction stove top! I was hesitant at first but I’m so glad we got it. It works perfectly and we have been able to use most of our old pots and pans. I love how easy it is to clean. I hated my electric cook top because everything that burned on it was so hard to clean.
I am very happy to install this induction hob in my kitchen. It gives me precise temperature control, which is crucial for cooking delicate dishes. The only thing which we should consider that we have to use always specially made induction pans and cooker. It is much more quicker than gas cooker. The heat evenly distribute across the cooking surface resulting in more consistent cooking. It is much more easier to clean than a gas hob. It has four points to cook in four different pans at the same time.It also gives us 9 different levels of heat intensity which we can set accordingly.
The product arrived as promised, works well, and looks nice. It was very easy to install. It works perfectly and we have been able to use most of our old pots and pans. I like also how easy it is to clean.
I bought this induction hob about 10 day ago to stop using gas. It is way faster than gas cooking.Compared to the gas one, this one is much better to take care of and visually changed our interior to a more modern one. There is a residual heat indicator. I have small children, so the child lock function in this hob is important to me. Immediate turning off of the induction hob when there are no pot’s on its surface and turning on when it is placed again.
Very happy and definitely would recommend to my friends and family.
The COVERCOOK 4 Zone induction hob is a great quality induction hob. It’s a standard fit, has a 7000W power capacity, responsive touch controls with child safety lock and nine different power levels.
The bridge zone is a great function and makes the cooker much easier to use. You can position your pots / pans better when using several large pots to maximise space and make cooking more convenient.
Price is very affordable especially compared to some main stream brands, overall very pleased and think it’s an excellent value for money product.
I have nothing negative to say about it absolutely brilliant. Please I read a couple of post’s one from I so called electrician please don’t listen you can use on a 13amp fuse but it won’t be running on 6.4 kW it’s limited to 2.4 kW which is more than enough to cook on all 4 rings.. you can hard wire if you wish and reset it to full power mode but we love the power of this hob. Great buy
This plug induction hob is great for me as I don’t have a hardwire box. Easy to install. I’m very happy with it and it’s so much cleaner than my gas hob.
I had my gas hob condemned and was looking for an easy solution. This electric induction hob was perfect. I had to make the hole slightly bigger to fit but that was it. Plugged it in and away you go.
I’ve been researching and choosing a plug-in induction job for over a year and finally ordered one to arrive before Christmas. Easy to install, plug and play. Put a pot of water to boil to test and was well impressed! It boiled so quickly compared to the old electric plate hob! Great stuff, easy to clean, looks great, don’t have any problem using 2-4 areas at the same time. Cooking is a breeze now!
Replaced our gas hob with this induction one. Really wanted to avoid rewiring as we weren’t ripping kitchen out, so this plug in version was ideal. Cooking is so much quicker and cleaner on induction compared to gas. Heat is instant to change and I’m really pleased with the switch. Easy to install – I had to cut the hole slightly bigger but that was simple with a jigsaw. Highly recommended
I’m loving my new induction hob really easy to use my old pans are compatible so no need to rush out and get new pans. I love the fact it turns down super fast literally like using a gas hob with the look of an electric well done
looking for a plug in for log cabin. Wasn’t easy to figure out but got there in the end .. plug in and go .. but its very sensitive. Looks very sleek in my kitchen.
A really good buy, a bit sceptical about having a plug in hob but not a problem, it’s so clean to work on and I fitted it in half an hour so simple to do out of the box and fitted into the space I took my gas hob out of, its so easy to use the controls are easy to see and instant heat, I timed how long it took to boil a pint of water and on gas hob it took 6 minutes but on this induction hob it took 90 seconds, wish I’d bought it a long time ago, a good price too, I highly recommend
