I had a mossy lawn that had hard packed earth. This meant that there was a lot of cleaning out the tines with the tool. However, after the soil is softened it is much easier to use and the earth gets pushed through to leave the little sausages of earth and less cleaning is required.

This I found is a well built and sturdy piece but be prepared to have to work hard especially on clay soil as it needs a fair amount of pushing into the ground

This is well built and does the job. It’s a time consuming task and I felt that the handle would benefit from some sort of padding as after an hour or so my hands were getting sore. I would imagine it would be difficult to use if the ground is too dry. I can’t comment on whether it’s improved the lawn yet bu

Well it’s bright green so you can’t loose it, the grass was soaked so it went in fairly easy, did the whole lawn in about half hour.
The soil slugs it puts out look like dog poo which I found amusing.
All in all you can’t go wrong for the cash.
