This is brilliant! I’ve not used my oven since I got my AF. It’s old, ugly AF, and since I got this Cusimax double hob, it’s going on the drive for the scrap man!
I’ve always had gas, so I think this is apparent to me when using this item. But I am seriously converted! This heats up so quickly! I also feel like the low is a good low in that you can have a ‘delicate’ heat and not roaring away agressively. And it is so easy to clean.
I think this is an excellent priced item, and freeing for me as I can now toss my oven until I can afford a new one. I don’t know how the painted exterior will last over time, but I feel like it’s going to do the job it was designed to do for the life of the product. It won’t stand up to harsh cleaning products.
I have no complaints about this product. I didn’t experience any problems. but I kept it aside for emergencies. I bought gas because it cooks food faster and the taste of the food is better. The electric stove is perhaps safer than gas, but it cooks food very slowly. I don’t increase the temperature while cooking because it gets too hot and turns red. but I still like it. I’m just impatient when it comes to cooking, so a gas stove is more suitable for me. In some cases, I will use my electric stove as needed. Thank you
These electric hobs have been a convenient addition to my kitchen! Cleaning the crystallite glass plates is a breeze, and the portability allows me to easily use them anywhere I need extra cooking space. Plus, the temperature control is excellent, ensuring precise cooking no matter the dish.
However, I encountered one issue — the brand emblem faded quickly due to the heat. The lamination protecting the brand name needs improvement to prevent this from happening to others.

However, if the brand logo’s longevity is important to you, you might want to consider other options.
It’s easy to keep clean & move around giving me a lot more space in the kitchen now.

Haven’t found anything to get the marks off the cooking rings yet, I’m a perfectionist so I view at all angles when really it looks ok.
Difficult to see what temperature your on without looking down, L.E.D on the top would be helpful
Good design; feels substantial with the pan on; heats the way I’d expect.
I’ve taken a star off because the control knob seems a bit light and flimsy compared with the rest, though no problem with it working as such.
If Cusimax is reading this: The knob is the one bit the customer handles, yes? You may have fitted the lightweight existing knob as a cost-saving measure but, really, you want the control knob to be and feel the most substantial bit! – giving the customer confidence in the quality. As is, I think, mmm, what else is a bit under spec? which may be unfair.
The product is stylish in its minimalistic & understated design – the brushed metal top is a quality finish. Though the underside is plastic, it is practical and the overall build feels robust and durable. The weight of the product is light to carry around but also has a bit of weight that adds to the robust feel. The iron hot plates are solid and of adequate size.
It is very simple to use with the two control knobs and red lights to indicate if a hot plate is active. There is one small critiscm which is I wish the control knobs, rather than simply twisting the knob to the OFF area, could click/lock into the OFF position for assurance & to increase the quality feel. However that’s not a huge issue and it is still practical and safe to use in its function. For the price paid, it is difficult to knock it for that.
I have used the hob several times so far and it has been a pleasant experience each time with sufficient heat from both plates and easy control. Plates heat up fairly quickly. It is easy quick and easy to clean and pack away when not in use. So I am happy with my purchase and can certainly recommend it if in the market for one.
This hotplate heats up super fast and has a light so you know when it turns off when it reaches temperature.
Not only does it heat fast but it gets extremely hot, also better than my antique hob.
I used it for the first time yesterday and used it multiple times cooking quite a few different curries and it was excellent.
I pre heated it for 10 minutes when I first opened it but didn’t notice any smells from it burning off any residue. It’s a great hotplate and I’m happy with it altho I’ve only used it for 1 day but it was on for a good few hours altogether.
I can’t comment on long simmering for stocks or soups etc but I’m sure it’ll perform just as well at low temperatures.
When it arrived, it was in a nice box and the instruction. The manual was comprehensive and straightforward, and the plate had a nice sticker on here to say that it needed to be switched on for 5 minutes without any appliance on it to let the coating heat up.
What impressed me more than anything is the speed that it heats the food and it is quicker than standard gas or electric cooker ring, The hotplate is nice and compact and fits well in any kitchen especially one like mine where there is not much space.
I am so happy with this purchase, and I can now have some lovely home-cooked soups etc.
