This 36 piece magnetic building block set comes presented in a sturdy cardboard box with pictures of the contents on it.
These magnetic building blocks have large strong magnets in them and are nice bright colours, turquoise blue, pink, purple and yellow to attract your little ones so they can be encourage to learn colours, shapes and counting while they are having fun playing.
This set is a STEM toy for early learning toy to help promote imagination and creativity as well as helping develop motor skills.
The building blocks as well as having strong magnetic force have smooth surfaces and no sharp corners and are made of eco friendly ABS material which is not very easy to break so nice and safe for your little ones.
This is a starter kit so you can buy others to add on, it is aimed at children ages 3 years +, can be played indoors or out and would also make a great gift.

The only downside of this set and the reason why it has received 4 stars not 5 stars is that there are only 36 building pieces included so you would need multiple sets to create maximum fun and build complex or large structures. However, these sets are reasonably priced so purchasing multiple sets should not be too much of a problem. These magnetic tiles stick to each other so you can build shapes and structures being strong enough to hold together but not too strong for children to dismantle when they wish too. Great fun is had by all who play with these tiles and they do improve fine motor control. They are appealing to look at and perfect for younger children as well as slightly older.

We have some magnetic tiles like these but a bit different. I have a 4 year old and 22 month old and both have really enjoyed these! Often picking them over the magnetic tiles. They are easy to use and the magnets hold well. Perfect for open ended play!

    Excellent quality magnetic building blocks.

What you get is 18 x Square and 18 x Triangular shaped magnetic pieces of quality plastic in an emerald green colour.

Well constructed with no sharp edges, magnets cannot be remove – which is a plus with toddlers!, very good QC.

This keeps both my 7 and 2 year old Grandsons occupied for hours, which is a bonus! they love the fact they can smash their creations to pieces on the floor (can handle this abuse admirably! – boys eh!) and start on something new.

    Recommended.

Kids really, really love building things with shapes like these – there’s something awesome about magnets and being able to build with them. And these are really great value – 9.89 as I write, which is a bargain.

The quality is not the same as better branded versions – my daughter has had another version and she tested them head-to-head. The main difference is the power of the magnets – these are much weaker. That means that things you build sag a little (see the house above!) and it’s much harder to build anything that requires a bit of rigidity or tension to hold it together during the build. So the branded version is a lot better. It does, on the other hand, typically cost three times the price, and there’s something to be said for quantity over quality with shapes like this – a couple of boxes of these give a lot of possibilities for building. As with the more expensive versions, a single box is fun but a little limiting.

Otherwise the quality is not at all bad – they do build pretty well, and they are decent plastic, a good size, and nicely rounded.

We’ve found shapes like this will entertain kids from very young and pre-verbal all the way through to teens (and adults) who find them surprisingly fun to mess around with. As a gift they’d be good for pre-school kids, and early years of school.

If you want the best, these aren’t the best. But a couple of boxes of these will still give hours of fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great fun and good value, but magnets a little weak

I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my girlfriend’s opinions.

I really like this kind of building blocks but got this for my 3 year old nephew to try as he likes building things from his own imagination. He likes the bright colour and the magnets work well – strong enough to hold but easy enough for him to pull apart. The ideas booklet is also a plus as he has copied some of these which is good for his thinking. The only thing he complains about is not enough pieces but at 10 for 36 pieces this is good value so I expect I will just have to buy another set to keep him happy.

This set of multi-coloured (pastel) magnetic shapes are similar to more expensive sets (in primary colours) and I would say you can tell the quality difference BUTthey’re still a good set for the price.
The 15 month old in my photo began playing with them before the delivery van had left the street!!! Great for starting to build 3D objects as well as shape recognition. The shapes themselves are easy to hold and you don’t need to be as precise as with some construction setsthe magnets do their job!!

We’ve put them in a bag to have in our baby changing rucksack as a good distraction toy when out and about (seen here waiting for brunch!) You get children can appreciate them as much as 3 & 4 year olds.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for little hands!

These are great fun, you can create so many different structures or 2D designs. There are lots of ideas to follow and make, or you can make your own, supporting imagination.
The magnets hold together well, they are strong enough for the job. There are enough pieces to create most of the things on the idea sheet – some may need more pieces. What’s great is you can buy several sets in any colour and you can create amazing things.
As for value for money I think its well worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great connectivity and idea bookle

This toy arrived in a easy to recycle cardboard box. Also inside the box is a leaflet which provides a few suggestions of what you could make. Though you would need another set to make up all the ideas.

As for the toy itself, I found the shapes to be well-made from a decent quality plastic. The parts are also of a good size with nicely rounded edges. Making them just right for younger children.

I especially like how the magnets are reasonably strong, yet they can’t be removed from the toy, which makes this really safe. Some folks in the house did feel only having squares and triangles might constrain play. But I feel that could could encourages kids to be more creative.

Plus this toy is reasonably priced, incredibly so when compared to brick construction toys. So I could just get another set, something I’m tempted to do because these kept more than the kids busy for ages.
Though next time I’ll chose a multicoloured set as they found only having one colour was a bit boring.

Overall ? This is a great fun and educational toy that’s well worth getting. Either as a birthday gift or just as a new toy.

This Dcsioike Magnetic Tiles set is good for some fun with construction toys.

The set has 36 pieces which are a mix of squares and triangles in a few pastel colours. Unlike the more popular magnetic tiles toys these have holes in the middle. They are not as strong as some others we’ve tried but they still work well for their purpose.

With only 36 in a pack they don’t go far if you are looking to build grand creations but they are good for young children to experiment with and to build smaller structures. They are made from plastic which doesn’t feel the best quality but it’s okay for the price.

These are nice, not our favourite magnetic tiles toy but you get what you lay for and considering this these are quite good.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good toy

A great set of toys that sparks kids’ creativity and imagination! With 40 pieces, it’s enough for younger kids, but older ones might need more for complex creations. Quality is the best I have had.

Good quality for a tenner, I know these aren’t a top brand so to speak but these building blocks are well made, nice and smooth and the magnets are fastened well, I’m very happy to let my granddaughter play with these, she gets a lot of fun from building with them, 18 squares 6.5cm x 6.5cm, the frame itself is 1cm wide x 5mm thick, 18 triangles being the same frame width, the 3 sides are all about 5.5cm in length. This set comes in a nice study box and a pamphlet with building suggestions and makes a nice gift.

Got this ready for my grandsons birthday in August. Seems just great and will occupy him for hours making up different shapes etc. Easy to assemble and dissassemble. Will certainly help in dexterity. Perfect and great value for money

Repeatedly get these for the kids. They love how easy the pieces are to put together and can build all sorts of 2D or 3D things. Some really creative items being made so we’re happy with the product!

My son, who has a missing chromosome and is autistic, absolutely loves magnetic building blocks, and we have many sets because he can’t get enough of them.

This 36-piece set from Dcsioike is just as good as all the others we own.

The quality is top-notch, with bright and bold colours that are visually stimulating.

The pieces are a nice size, making them easy for him to handle and build with.

There’s so much you can do with these tiles — the possibilities for creative construction are endless.

They provide hours and hours of fun, and they’re excellent for developing fine motor skills and encouraging imaginative play.

Overall, this set has been a fantastic addition to our collection.

It’s a brilliant toy that brings joy and educational value, and I highly recommend it for any child.

This comes in a small cardboard box.

You get eighteen square tiles – four pink, five purple, four yellow and five blue

There are also eighteen triangle tiles – five purple, five blue, three pink and five yellow.

They stick quite quickly and easily to each other.

If you want to make more complex constructions you may need another se

My grandson is obsessed with anything magnetic. He has similar building sets but nothing like this, or as big as the pieces are in this. He plays for hours with them and keeps going back and making something new. This set represents hours of constructive fun. Brilliant.

These are a cheaper version of the stronger and more efficient magnetic tiles which can be purchased for a much higher price. There is one small magnet on each side of the shapes. They are OK as a construction toy for when the grandchildren come around. However, the stability of building with them is not as strong or reliable as the more expensive kits. There is an ideas leaflet included but with only one box, you cannot make everything shown. You would need more sets. It’s a case of ‘you get what you pay for’.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good toy for casual building

“Prepare for some magnetic magic! If creativity had a home, it’d be in the Dcsioike Magnetic Tiles Building Blocks set. Seriously, these things are like the Swiss Army knife of toys – they do everything!

First off, let’s talk about the magnetism. It’s like they’ve bottled up the forces of attraction and put them into these little squares and triangles. You can practically feel the magnetic pull as you build, and it’s addictively satisfying. Plus, it adds a whole new dimension to your creations. No wobbly towers here, folks!

And the colors! Oh, the colors! They’re so vibrant, it’s like a rainbow exploded in your playroom. You’ve got your primary colors, your pastels, your neons – it’s a visual feast. And don’t even get me started on the translucent ones. They’re like little blocks of stained glass.

But wait, there’s more! The versatility of these blocks is off the charts. You can build a towering skyscraper one minute, then transform it into a fantastical spaceship the next. The only limit is your imagination (and maybe the laws of physics, but who’s counting?).

Cleanup is a breeze too. Just stack ’em up, and you’re good to go. No tiny pieces to lose, no complicated instructions to follow – just pure, unadulterated fun.

So, in conclusion, if you want to unleash your inner architect, engineer, or mad scientist, look no further than the Dcsioike Magnetic Tiles Building Blocks. They’re like LEGO on steroids, and I mean that in the best possible way.”

There are a few different types of magnetic tiles currently on the market. Whilst these are the cheapest I have come across, they are also the most frustrating as their instability limits their use. The sides snap together easily however aren’t strong enough to force the pieces to line up. They are also not strong enough to hold the shape when trying to add other pieces.

Fun for a short while but not a toy to last the years as a more able child would want something more stable for bigger structures.

This set of 40 magnetic tile pieces contains just triangles and squares and comes with a colour pamphlet with construction ideas. Made from food grade ABS with smooth edges, they have magnetic strips around the edges that allow them to snap together and create 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional creations.

There are several different brands of similar toys on the market. The tile size of these is 6.6cm for the squares and 5.48 cm for the triangles – which does seem a bit random and I’d have thought they’d be the same but they seem to go together just fine.

We already have a larger set of a different brand with 7cm tiles and our 3 year old Grandson loves building towers with them, so I thought this set should boost his collection, but unfortunately the compatibility isn’t that good. The other ones have two magnets about 25% and 75% along the edges whereas these have a single small magnet at the centre of the edges so the magnets don’t line up or even overlap. Not to worry though as they are still perfectly good value as a stand alone kit and he’ll still enjoy playing with them just as much.

Compared to our other set, this one is quite basic – fewer shapes, fewer tiles, simpler tiles and less magnets. They don’t feel quite as good quality, but its perfectly good and works well and is a lot less expensive than our other set at just 9.41 at the time of writing, so a good value basic set.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value basic set that works OK, but not as good a quality as others I've seen.
