I’ve a few laptop chargers knocking around the house and this version is my most trusted, it even has an LED on the usbc plug so its easy to find in a dark corner of the room.
This charger arrived well packaged, upon unpacking, the unit felt as if it was made from strong, durable material.
Having used it to charge my laptop several times, it works great, no issues at all with incompatibility (I have seen that with other power supplies) , no overheating if the charger or laptop a all.
Very satisfied and would recommend this charger.
This looks just like the Dell OEM brick, which feels slightly misleading given the title of the item listing as well. It is relatively small and similar to the old unit I had (and then lost). The charging speed seems to be as advertised although I don’t have a way to test this, but my laptop never ran out of juice with this plugged in and always kept charging. It’s good value as it is much cheaper than the official charger yet does the same thing.
I needed a spare USB-C charger for my laptop, and whilst this is specified as for Dell, as it is USB-C it will work with any device that has that port.
Connected to my Lenovo T14 and also my Macbook Pro they both are charged with this charger, and don’t give any error messages etc.
The charger itself is nice, although not as compact as others I have tried, the cable lengths mean that you get close to 3m of reach from a socket.
Overall a good charger that works with anything I use it with.
Looking for a power supply that’s as versatile as a Swiss Army knife and as reliable as your morning coffee? Look no further!
This well-made power supply adjusts its output between 5V and 20V, automatically detecting your device’s needs. With up to 65W of power, it can charge a wide range of laptops, tablets, and phones via its USB Type-C plug.
In operation, this power supply performed like a champ. It fast-charged my phone (5V) in under an hour, and with a USB adapter, it charged my notebook (20V). To really put it to the test, I charged my car starter, which requires 45W, and it handled it without breaking a sweat. Plus, it operated quietly with no annoying transformer buzz — a true silent hero.
One suggestion for improvement: make the USB cable detachable. This would allow for easy replacement if it gets damaged and enable the cable to moonlight as a phone-to-computer connector.
This charger has been a reliable companion so far, and I highly recommend it. It’s like having a power-packed sidekick in your tech arsenal!
This works very well. It charges my laptop adequately as the original does. It doesn’t get too hot or make much noise. It does have an LED light on which if charging overnight can be a distraction.
If works well and exactly as desired.
After receiving a new work laptop I wanted a spare power adapter for travelling and as a backup. This charger is visually and physically similar to the original and connects with my Dell perfectly. In reality it’s a fairly universal USB Type-C power adapter that should work with most any USB C compatible devices that require up to 65 watts of power, so I’ll be using it to charge my tablet when I’m away from home too.
With a quality finish it both feels and looks well made. The included cable is rugged and the 3 pin wall plug is fused appropriately with a 3A fuse. Just like the original, it has a bright white LED that illuminates when powered on and I’ve not noticed any excessive heat or noise from the power brick. I’ve been powering and charging my Dell laptop for a few days and it works great. Very impressed.
This is not an original Dell Laptop charger, but the wording does make it look like it is (one star removed).
It does work exactly the same as my old Dell laptop charger, and I am sure will work with any USB C-type device that needs charging with the same wattage requirements.
Nice and compact, comes with mains lead and works as expected.
One problem with working from home for me is remembering to take my power supply with me when I do go into the office. Naturally I always forget it on days when I’m spending time away from my desk in meetings, causing laptop range anxiety to kick in.
This is an aftermarket 65w power supply with what Dell refer to as a thunderbolt connector (but everyone else knows as usb-c). It works as expected, and will live in my laptop bag, resolving any future absent mindedness.
I chose this item because my chargers keep failing for various reasons—whether the cables get crimped, pull out of the casing, or just stop working like my last one did. This charger is nearly identical to another brand I had for about 8 months, until my computer stopped recognising it was plugged in and the USB-C light went out, indicating no charge. I appreciate that the cable is long enough to use my laptop on the coffee table while plugged into a power strip behind my sofa. Many chargers have shorter cables, making it tricky to use a computer while it’s charging. Overall, my computer instantly recognised the cable and started charging without any issues.
Dell Laptop Charger,65W USB C
Compact (11*7*2.5cm) rounded block charging adapter, takes a mains plug and provides a USB-C power with 65W. Decent 1.1m main lead and 1.5m USB-C length of cable. The USB-C section comes out at right angles from the transformer.
It does support multiple power outputs 65W output via 20V & 3.25A, 45W via 15V & 3A, 36W via 12V & 3A, 27W via 9V & 3A, 15W via 5V & 3A
Works fine with compatible laptops and great to replace a broken/lost one or if you work from multiple locations.
Ordered this charger to replace a slowly failing charger for our Dell laptop. The charger comes with a power lead that plugs into a wall socket and the lead which then plugs into the laptop. It’s a charge cable that is a lot like the original in design and length.
It is easy to connect together and plugs into the laptop easily. There is a small light on the connector that goes into the laptop to let you know the charger is on.
I didn’t notice the leed getting hot or any humming, it worked perfectly.
Seems good quality and robustly built. I am always a little nervous using third party chargers, so there were several things I looked for.
The live and neutral pins are correctly insulated on the bottom half. There is an easily accessibly fuse which is correctly rated at 3a.
Plugging in and charging, the USB C connector is a little tight and needs a tiny bit of extra force compared to the OEM charger, but not enough to make you think there is anything wrong or you are at risk of damaging anything.
Charging rate is the same as the OEM charger – estimated time to fully charge from 20% is identical, the charger didn’t get significantly warm during charging or while using the laptop while plugged in.
I am confident enough to keep using this charger at home and it allows me to leave the OEM charger at work.
