Our supply is medium to low pressure and there were no leaks (the one that this replaced leaked around the trigger mechanism from day 1). This is sturdy and has 10 patterns, though I rarely use much other than shower and jet. The flow control / on / off leaver is easy to operate and allows you to reduce the flow to a trickle, ideal for slow watering pots. It seems to reduce the flow a little compared to the previous one but that could be my imagination. Considerably cheaper than the leading brand and does a similar job.
Arrived next day, well packaged. Basic design with thumb control, unlike the more expensive jets with triggers. Once mastered I can see the brilliance of this simplicity! Who wants to spend 30 on a Hoselock jet that lasts one season when you can purchase three of these? They all fail when dropped a few times or if left out in the frost so unless vanity prevails, purchase this one. As to quality, it is more robust and has no unnecessary bells and whistles. So far so good.
Very pleased with it. It is easy to grip and to configure and it has 10 different adjustable spray patterns. It has a thumb control valve too making it easy to control the flow of water. The quick-connect ends also make it easy to attach to your existing hose or to another type of washer. I highly recommend it.
I usually end up going through spray guns quite quickly. Plastic ones, such as this one, usually last one or two seasons while metal ones go a bit longer. I’ll blame the very hard water in the area.
This one from Dewot is quite a standard spray gun. It has a good selection of patterns, pretty much anything one can ask for. So no complaints at all. Although it is plastic, the build quality is alright.
It has one of those, newish, thumb valves instead of the usual trigger. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of these. Like other similar spray guns, the valve is quite tight out of the box, and it gets even tighter after a period of use, making it almost impossible to operate with one hand. However, this is somewhat of a personal preference, this type of valve allows water flow to be adjusted and left at a certain level, as opposed to trying to hold a trigger constantly at a specific point.
I cannot fault the price. 9.99 at the time of this review is good value for money. All in all, I can recommend this spray gun.
We get through 2-3 spray guns a year, as the plastic tends to break quite easily, and another had just gone – spraying water everywhere apart from where I wanted it. I looked around for a new one and came across this one, which is rubberised around the areas that usually fail. I also liked the lever mechanism, which you can adjust with your thumb while using the hose. In use, the rubber makes it easy to hold and grasp and the lever is much easier to use than previous spray guns.
What first drew me to it was the name, DEWOT, and the colours and packaging, they are a blatant attempt to mimic Dewalt, the really good quality brand of Garden and tool equipment, so this was the first impression, which was not that good, but I thought, well, we do need a new one, with the one we have about to pass into the other world, so I ordered it, not expecting much,
It comes in a nice box, with glossy logo and printing, the item is just in a small bag with some attachments, we got the unit out of the box, and attached it to the hose, a bit fiddly as the sizing is a little off, but it got there in the end, with a bit of effort and a few choice words, LOL.
Once it was attached, we tried to pull the trigger, umm, there is not one, LOL, now this is a lesson in reading the instructions first, LOL, to make it work properly there is a thumb operated knob on the top, you can move this about and it will slow or increase the flow of water, which is really helpful for those plants that are delicate, or seedlings that are just starting to grow.
The option of ten spray heads is nice, but like others have said, you will likely only ever use a couple, so the rest remain unused, the handset has some weight to it, and it seems to be well made, albeit with dodgy sizing, it will work, and does, and hopefully it will see the summer out, and longer, but only time will tell, but for now, this is a nice item, at a decentish price, that looks like it will work very well.
