It does the job and seems to give an accurate weight, easy to slip in your case as well for the return leg. I didn’t find it the easiest to hold a keep flat once a suitcase is attached but I guess unless you make it four times the size that will always be an issue.
The instructions to turn on the device were misleading. The first instruction should have been to remove the battery cover, take out the battery, and remove the small piece of transparent film. Then replace battery and cover.
Without removing the small piece of transparent film, the device will not turn on. This is the mistake I made when I ordered the first scales the day before. I returned it and ordered another. Trial and error gained me success.
It is an extremely useful device for weighing our suitcases prior to travelling making sure we don’t get charged for overweight luggage,comes in a small box ready to go and is easy stored in a back pack when travelling,recommended.
Makes weighing things like gas bottles very easy – can’t say how accurate they are as I haven’t come across anything that I know the wright of for certain – however what I have weighed I am happy that they are around the 98% mark – so they do the job I need
