Had a large buddleia chopped down last year. It needed reducing in size to get more in the green/brown bin. This set was perfect for saving my arthritic hands and I managed not to lose any digits! It’s not too heavy and got through 3 hours of cutting easily. Had I done that by hand, I would be in agony. Brilliant tool and not too expensive.

his is an electric pruning shears, it’s cordless, 2 packs 2a rechargeable batteries included, that’s amazing as one battery already up to 1000 cut per full charge, 2 batteries together last long enough to prune a forest

it came with a carrying case, all batteries, charger and accessories can be stored nicely inside; the shears itself is compact, ergonomic design, hold and control comfortably

a safety feature with the device that the blades will not be activated after device powered on, it needs double press the trigger to activate the blades, i found it’s really helpful to prevent cutting accidentally

the blades are ultra sharp and strong, cut any branches in a breeze, clean and sharp cut, max cut diameter is 40mm, never tested the max cutting diameter but it’s already more than enough to trim all thick branches in privacy shrubs

all in all, i’m satisfied with this product, would recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars ultra strong, clean and sharp cu

It arrived today, put it on charge and then went into the garden to test it. Very good at cutting I was amazed what it can do. Time will answer other questions like battery life and how long the blades keep sharp

I ordered this for my father who has arthritis in both his hands and is struggling with tools lately. I did test this on a few bushes around our house, of various sizes, and found this Diivoo Electric Pruning Shears very easy to use. It comes with 2 batteries that are already charged, instructions leaflet, charger, oil and sharpening stone and 2 matching tools. It is quite lightweight, batteries hold a 8-10h charge and everything fits nicely in the carry case. Perfect set, very happy with it and would highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tool, easy to use

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhen we first tested out these Electric Pruning Shears we had family members visiting us and we were all marvelling at how effective they were at slicing through shrub branches like butter.

They really are effortless to use, you hardly need to touch the trigger to set the chopping into motion. One press for one chop. But I have to admit, as someone who can at times be clumsy, they did worry me a little! So I think I’ll leave the shrub trimming to my more competent partner when it comes time for our lovely Lilac bush to have its yearly haircut!

On a more serious note – definitely do not leave these lying around where children could access them.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese pruning shears are a game changer. I have used them to cut back jasmine, (mostly stems a bit thinner than a pencil, both green and mature growth), bamboo, phormium leaves, (dead and alive), and an elderberry bush with branches up to around 2.5cm. The shears made short work of them all. I have arthritis, and my finger joints get sore quickly when using standard secateurs, but these need little pressure to trigger the blades and my fingers have been fine. I have used the shears with the charge that was in the battery when it was delivered and so far have clocked up around 3 hours without charging. The shears are sold with 2 batteries, charger and small tool kit, including oil, all packed into a case which latches. I like the fact that the shears can easily be locked closed and released during use, and the battery needs to be detached before the shears can be put in the case-important safety issues. It is important to though, to be constantly aware of where your hand is in relation to the blades, I’m sure they would nip off a finger just as efficiently as they deal with branches.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great item. Used on and off for 5 hours yesterday, and the battery was still well charged, so even using constantly for a whole day would be no problem as there is a second battery. The battery is fitted and removed very easily.

The pruner is a pocket-rocket, it is really strong and cut through 1-inch stems no problem and quickly, and also through smaller stems bunched together at the same time. It beeps to let you know it is on, ready to go and when it has gone into stand by. Included is a small bottle of lubricant, I’m guessing it is a basic mineral or clipper oil as it doesn’t say what it is in the instructions. The instructions say there is a lubricating port at the base of the blades, but I’m struggling to see this. They say to remove some sort of cotton, put the oil in and replace the cotton, but this bit is as clear as fog. I love the storage case which keeps everything together tidy.

Users will have to take care and remain vigilant when using as the trigger is very light, and if set off inadvertently it would take a finger off in a second, so be careful. It weighs 916 grams with a battery fitted, and the circumference of the hand-grip is just under 13cm. There is a sharpening stone and blade tightening tools included in the pack, so everything you need is in this kit. I am super-impressed so far, this is going to save me so much time and effort over the summer. Five stars from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and makes pruning super easy

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is an excellent garden tool, it is very easy to use and is quite powerful. I haven’t tried to cut up to the claimed 25mm but it goes through 15mm branches with ease. There are 2 batteries so you can have one on charge as you’re using the other, having said that – the batteries do have a pretty good life. Once you’ve fitted a battery and switched the pruner on its just a case of squeezing the trigger twice to open up the jaws – you just select the branch that you want to cut and then squeeze the trigger, it then does its business. Once you’ve finished just hold the trigger in until the jaws close and the unit ‘beeps’ once and keep it in until it beeps twice – you can then switch the pruner off and remove the battery. The set comes in a handy plastic carry case and has a sharpening stone and oil. I think that it would be wise to keep this away from youngsters as the jaws close with just a light touch of the trigger, so please be careful when you pick it up between uses.
