I have a painful coccyx/tailbone and needed something sturdy. This is sturdy. Memory foam still perfect after daily use as a plus sized person. Worth every penny. Keeps me comfortable. I take it with me everywhere. I can now watch a film in comfort. Size and shape are perfect for couch and kitchen chairs.
What can I say. I don’t do reviews but I had to do one for this cushion. It was a life saver when I was travelling with a bulging disc. So comfortable and the pain relief it gave me when sitting in airport terminals, airplane, taxi, restaurant and train seats was amazing. I am actually about to buy another one for my work to save me bringing one around everywhere with me.

My office chair was extremely uncomfortable after sitting on it for long periods of time. Tried using a cushion and that didn’t work but this is perfect, can sit on it for a long time and my butt won’t be achey, it is a little pricey but defo worth the money In my opinion 🙂
I bought this cushion to give me both support and comfort when using my mobility scooter. It gives great support, and reduces pain when going over bumps and pot holes.
I’ve used this back support in the car, as a passenger only as my car has a back support on the driver’s seat. I’ve put it in the position that suits me and it seems to work. I haven’t strapped it to the seat yet so don’t know if it holds. I use it on the sofa when I’m watching tv as well. My back is ok at the moment so not sure if it’s the support or just the cyclical nature of my pain. Seems like a good tool for my armoury and if it helps then it’s worth the money.
I am very happy with this cushion I bought. I suffer with coccyx pain and have sciatica so it has been difficult finding a cushion to relieve the pain. Previously I bought an alternative cushion but the foam quickly went flat and was so wobbly it triggered my sciatica. However, the design of this one means there is no pressure on my coccyx and is very comfortable and supportive to sit on so doesn’t trigger my sciatica. Very high quality material and manufacture I definitely recommend this product.
I can only drive for about half an hour without getting back pain unless I have some sort of back support. I have used a McKenzie roll for many years but it has seen far better days and so I bought this item a few weeks ago. I have had only a few journeys since then of only a little more than half an hour, but the other day because of adverse traffic conditions, I ended up with a 1 1/2 hour journey one way and two hour 20 minute journey coming back. I’m glad to say my back survived very well and I am happy to recommend this item.
The seat/cushion is exactly what I needed and it is unbelievably comfortable. I have brought both parts to work to use there. I have taken the cushion part home with me and I’ve used it at home whilst working also. I am literally sitting on it now whilst I’m on the couch.
I injured a muscle in late December. I am recovering but it can be a slow recovery. This seat/cushion has been a great assistance to me over the last few weeks. I’m glad I’ve brought it hone with me. I need this comfort now!
The cushions design is well throughout, the insert gives it a continual use even after the problem it was bought to help with has passed. Unfortunately for us it was too firm and the recipient was not comfortable sitting on it, the cushion was too thick it made it too high for our use, & thee user felt uneasy on it even for a shot bit, & the chair hadn’t move yet, it made him feel a bit unsteady & that he might fall out of the chair.
The covers are black, have a soft velvet like feel too them and are completely removable from both the donut ring itself & the insert to, both have zip fasteners to help their removal & are machine washable also. The insides seem to be of a dense foam type material but is hard on the behind if your sore part is in a slightly different position.
I purchased this support primarily to use in my car. I suffer from sciatica which can be aggravated by long car journeys and the low seat position in my car (a Nissan Leaf). The cushion I find is just a tad too short (front to rear) to cover my car seat and therefore takes a bit of faffing to find the comfortable “sweet spot” before driving off. Also when wearing a heavy-ish coat/raincoat it can be awkward getting in to the car and sliding under the steering wheel. This tends to cause the cushion to move sideways and repositioning it whilst sitting on it and wearing a coat can be a bit awkward. Once correctly positioned however the cushion is comfortable and does help relieve the sciatica pain. I also have a slight issue with the lumbar support insomuch that whilst the support itself is good, I find that when cornering in the vehicle the lack of “side bolstering” to prevent sideways rolling of your upper body is initially a bit disconcerting until you get used to it. Not a massive problem for me as I am of an age where I am past driving at speed around corners but something to take into consideration if you are looking to use this product in your car. Despite these couple of issues, overall I am pretty happy with the support given by this cushion and lumbar suppo
