I found the lightweight yet durable quality material quite impressive. The double-layered natural latex core ensure the hose is leakproof and will withstand regular use. The easy-detach/fix connection at both ends of the hose also means you can quickly switch between using the spray head or attaching it to an outdoor tap.

Good quality hose that will last for years and years.it comes with a drawstring bag for storage and a mount which is super handy. Delivery was quick I will never go back to using traditional plastic hoses.
Ordered this after a similar style one I had from 2 years ago exploded. So far the hose doesn’t leek, empties well and the nozzle offers a great choice of water streams. Would recommend!
Brilliant hose that I cannot fault at all for my purposes which entails just watering the plants and grass in my garden but it beats using a watering can or anything else.
Super easy to attach to outside tap and or indoor with correct adaptors which for indoor taps I did already own a attachment but you may need to buy one separately if this is what you are wanting todo.
Other than some parts feeling cheapish this has been going strong for me for nearly a solid month of daily use without issues, I would recommend only reason of 4 stars as I would of liked to see the actual inclusion of a indoor tap attachme

Great quality and exactly what I was looking for. I love how it comes with a bracket to ensure I can put my hose on the fence out of the way. It’s also very effective and stretches out far. Great value for money!

On first impressions the box this came in was kinda scruffy & open. There was a round sticky seal to keep it closed, but it had a lot of debris stuck to it & gave the impression that this was possibly a return, so not great. The hose & everything was inside & it doesn’t appear to have been used though. There is a hanging hook provided with the hose, but it’s made of plastic & seems way too fragile for the job. The hose itself expands to the full 50ft every time it’s used, so it’s not like a hose reel where you just have the amount you need, you get the full 50ft. That being said, it is a very compact hose when not in use, which is great for someone like me who only uses one occasionally & plans to store it in the shed. It connected to my tap well with no leakage, & fits my hose wand well.
At time of review this was 17.99, with a 40% discount this would have cost 10.80 which would have made it amazing value. It comes with everything you need, hozelock type connectors, hanging bracket, storage bag, spray gun and spare washers. Even at full price it is pretty good value. I wouldn’t recommend it for everyday use but for occasional use when you have nowhere to store a ‘normal’ hose this is perfect. Not only is it compact, making it easy to handle, it is also very lightweight compared to the equivalent hosepipe. You are advised against storing it in sunlight as the UV would degrade the material covering it, but as it is so easy to shove back in its bag that is not an issue. Happy to recommend this.

No not some saddo, but the way this expands as the water flows through it is fascinating. Had these types of hose before and are great for use over longer areas. The plastic bracket is a bit thin and could do with being sturdier – not sure it would last the winter and I can’t see my unscrewing that to store away with the hose. One of the easiest ways is to drop it in an old bucket which saves trying to coil it up. Seems well built, no leaks, fairly typical spray gun. Liked the storage bag and spares, handy. 19.99 at the time of this review – not the cheapest out there
When this hose arrived it looked really short in fact I have a 25ft expandable hose and that looked longer, however once plugged in and the tap turned on this hose just grew and grew and it turned out to be plenty long enough for my needs.
These hoses have a good and a bad side, one is they hold a lot of water, turn the tap off and hold the trigger open and it will just run on for ages gradually shrinking back to it’s start size, so if you like to conserve water you need to turn the tap off just before finishing what your doing.
I have had a few of these and not all have lasted, the end popped out on one and two just started leaking, hopefully this one will not suffer the same demised it’s a case of time will tell, should that time be short then I will update this review otherwise I like these expandable hoses as they are so easy to pack up after use, much better than the standard type hoses.
This is a good hose pipe as it can expand to reach the lower garden with ease , but then shrinks back to its compact size once the water tap is turned off , it’s actually very compact and lightweight and doesn’t take up much space in the garden.
It’s much better than using a more rigid Hosepipe, this is highly flexible with good water flow , it can reach the bottom of the garden and even out the gate to use to hose the car down , a really handy multi mode nozzle also makes it good for watering plants , filling up paddling pools , blasting down the patio path or sprinkling over turf or grass.
It has a plastic feel and build to it , the fittings and nozzle are not premium quality, but it did connect easily to the outdoor tap and it’s good to have the extra reach in a compact lightweight design.
Maybe a tad expensive at 19.99 but with discount voucher it’s a good value, compact, hose with a decent nozzle with different spray modes that are easy to change.
The hose kit arrived with the following contents; the hose itself, a wall hanging utility, an adjustable nozzle with 10 different spray types, 3 spare rubber sealing washers, thread tape to ensure a good seal, a storage bag, ” and ” plastic fittings and an instruction pamphlet.
The first thing I noticed about the expandable hose itself, was that, although it is reasonably lightweight, it was quite robust in its manufacture, and looks to have been constructed using decent quality materials. The hose itself is fabricated from two layers of latex and reinforced with 800D Polyester webbing.
The detachable nozzle is made from durable ABS plastic and is very comfortable to grasp and squeeze, even for protracted lengths of time. The nozzle has 10 different spray functions so that regardless of whether you are washing the car, watering the plants or hosing down the dog after a wash and shampoo, there’s a spray type to suit the occasion.
Both ends of the hose have moulded plastic easy connect Snap-On fitments, but at neither end is there a stop cock valve and although a handy utility to have, it’s not essential. There’s a fair bit of expansion with the hose once connected and the water pressure builds giving you a kink-free hose, but self-drains easily once you’ve finished using the appliance and it returns to its shrunken state.
In summary, an extremely handy tool to have in the shed and the 10 choices of nozzle sprays has you covered whether you’re washing the car or giving the dog an outdoor bath.
I’ve been working hard in my garden over the last few weeks, planting and trying to get it ready for summer.
I ordered this extendable hose as my existing hose had definitely seen better days, and I felt like it was time to treat myself to an upgrade.
Now the weather is a bit warmer (finally!) I need the hose to water my baskets, flower pots and in the greenhouse.
This hose is ideal for me.
It’s really lightweight and doesn’t feel cumbersome and awkward like my old solid hose.
Once you turn off the water it shrinks back down to about roughly a third of its size making it really simple to loop on the included hook or to store away in its bag and it’s so much easier for me to handle.
I had no idea how much easier this would be compared to trying to coil a stiff hose.
It comes with a hanging hook which is perfect and looks great up, waterproof tape and spare rubber seals, together with a 10 pattern spray gun, which works well for anything from seedlings to washing the car.
The spray gun is plastic and so are the fittings, it’s my only niggle that I’d have liked brass fittings.
So far I haven’t had any leaks and I’m completely converted.
When you turn the water on and it “grows” to its full size it’s easily long enough to reach my driveway so I find it really convenient as it means I don’t have to struggle with my watering can quite so much.
When you turn it off it takes a few seconds to fully empty.
In my opinion it’s good value for money and feels well made.

Having ordered one for myself, and being extremely impressed with it, I decided my mother in law would like one, too, as she’s forever complaining about her 15+ years old one. Why did I choose this expanding hose over buying her a traditional hose?

The outer layer is nothing special. It is just an oversized sheath that wrinkles as the hose contracts. It looks quite ugly compared with the one I previously ordered for myself.
How long this will last compared with the old one, who knows. I’d be surprised if it reaches the same ripe old age as my MiL’s previous one, but you never know
We have an old fashioned hose on a reel in the back garden and were looking for a smaller one to use at the front of the house via a tap in the garage. For this type of use it works rather well and with a 50′ length is easy to hang up between uses. Note: the description of which jet action you will get is completely wrong, they are printed in a totally random order and you need to cycle through to find the one you want. Also the hanging bracket is made of thin plastic, it is not going to last five minutes, so be prepared to hang it around the tap. Where it helps us is that the garage tap has low pressure so the expanded hose gives us a type of buffer to help with delivery. There are some thoughtful additions like plumbers tape and spare washers, plus it fits quite easily back into its bags. However, unlike traditional hoses where you pull out only as much as you require, with this style of hose the whole 50′ is out, every time you use it. Depending on your use this will or will not be a good hose for your garden.
