Living in Europe, it’s crucial to have a reliable and compatible charging cable, and this one fits the bill perfectly with its wide compatibility across various EV models.
The cable offers multiple power options (7.2kW, 11kW, and 22kW), which I found immensely helpful as it allows me to choose the right power setting depending on my needs and the charging capabilities of my car. Opting for the 22kW, the charging speed is impressive, significantly cutting down the charging time and getting me back on the road quicker.
Another standout feature is the safety assurance that comes with the cable. With CE, RoHS, and TUV certifications, plus an IP65 waterproof and dustproof rating, I feel confident charging my vehicle even during adverse weather conditions. The added protection against lightning strikes gives me extra peace of mind.
I opted for the 5-meter cable, which provides ample length to reach from my garage outlet to where my car is parked. It’s quite flexible and easy to handle, and the included tote bag is a nice touch for storing the cable neatly when not in use.

I opted for the 22kw 5m lead for my hybrid bmw.
The lead does exactly what you would expect, there is a very positive connection with the type 2 connector at both ends making it feel secure when connected.
The connecting cable itself is thick and obviously capable of coping well with the voltage and current. When in use the cable and connectors don’t get hot or even warm.
The lead comes with a soft material like carry case for storage as well as a microfiber cloth so you can keep the lead clear and in top quality after every use.
Very happy with lead and its charge capability. Its also comparable in price to others on the market.
