Bought eight months ago to replace the drive in a Lenovo laptop. Along with replacing Windows with Linux, it turned a very slow machine into a very usable quick one. No problems at all, so far.
Value for money. Used to built out a micro pc to run a simple audio Plex Media Server so I didn’t need anything fancy.
I’ll regret not spending another 10 to double the storage to 512Gb, but 256Gb is more than enough for my current needs.
Perfectly simple ssd to upgrade a sluggish disc drive. Rapid fast, no issues putting windows 11 to give my older pc a new lease of life.
Great value for money, hopefully get the longevity out of it.
I bought this drive in late December, and have definitely been using it a lot thanks to my crippling gaming addiction. I did think that, for the price I bought it for, I’d face some issues, and while I know it’s still kind of early days, nothing has gone wrong yet.
Using it as my system drive. My first SSD, I was astounded with how quickly the PC booted and how quickly it would load games.
Get a 1 or 2tb though if you can spare the extra money
So far so good, bought this SSD for storing my Steam games on as my boot SSD with Windows was starting to get low on space and a lot of games struggle to run from hard drive now.
So far the SSD is excellent, Windows and the motherboard have detected it correctly and I’ve moved my Steam games over to it and freed up a ton of space on my boot SSD, to the point I’ve been able to split it down the middle for potentially experimenting with Linux down the road.
Will update the review if anything develops but otherwise an excellent product.
