This is a good quality BBQ cover. When I unpacked it I was surprised by the weight … its not light weight and flimsy. It has stood up to virtually a month of rain without letting water onto the BBQ. Its easy to secure in case of winds and easy to remove. Certainly worth considering.
Perfect Fit for Large Grills
Measuring 160cm(W) x 68.6cm(D) x 119.4cm(H), this cover is perfect for my Weber Genesis 3-Burner grill. It fits snugly and covers the entire grill, including the side burner, offering comprehensive protection. It’s also versatile enough to fit other large grills with similar dimensions.

This BBQ cover from F&J seems to be well made, and has certainly coped well with all the recent rain! This is my first year with a BBQ so I’ve nothing to compare it to, but I believe it will keep things dry for a good few years.
Living in the UK, where the weather can be unpredictable, it’s essential to protect our BBQ. This cover has done an excellent job so far. It’s sturdy, waterproof, and fits my BBQ perfectly. The adjustable straps are a nice touch, ensuring it stays secure even in windy conditions.
Impressed by the durability of this BBQ cover. It has survived heavy rain and scorching sun without any signs of wear. The fit is snug, providing excellent protection for my grill. The handles are a thoughtful addition, making it easy to remove and put on, even during windy conditions.
This is a great cover for outdoor BBQ grill and comes with enough straps to tight the cover around your grill. I am happy as it is quite big enough and is waterproof so we can use bbq grill straight after a rain whenever the sun comes out, no need to wait for the grill to dry up first. In UK, having these covers is a must have. The quality is really superb as the fabric is thick and protects the grill well. At one occasion, we had to take our living room sofas out for cleaning before an event and it started raining. This cover came to the rescue and we were able to protect our sofas during heavy showers and moved them back once the rain stopped without any problems.

For the price, this is a decent BBQ grill cover. The material is waterproof and it will keep your grill protected from the elements however It isn’t made from heavy-duty material. Compared to some other covers I’ve bought in the past the material is relatively thin hence I’m not sure how many winters this will survive. Also, with almost all such covers it’s hard to say how quickly the colour will fade over time. We don’t get that much sunlight here in the UK but even then if your grill machine is outdoors all the time I’ve noticed colour fading tends to start within a couple of years. I would be extra careful when placing and removing this cover as getting it caught on sharp edges or corners may cause tears in the fabric. In conclusion, it’s a reasonably OK BBQ grill cover that will do the job however it’s not made from heavy-duty material and I suppose from a price-only perspective it’s good value however if the price is not your main consideration and you want a cover that’s strong and that will last many years then i would suggest you consider other covers on the market.

Weighing around 1.3KG this is a heavy duty BBQ cover that appears very well made.
The fabric feels premium and it has Velcro fasteners at the bottom to gather in to prevent it blowing away.
It is very water resistant with the BBQ remaining dry after a good drenching with my hose.
It seems very durable as the fabric is very strong and will not easily rip under normal usage.
I would trust this cover to protect my BBQ throughout all bad weather conditions.

The fabric looks and feels like heavy duty ‘rip stop’ and is better than any other covers I have. Garden bench cover, motorbike cover and trailer hitch form other brands are NOT as good as this one.
Weather proofing is also very good with no leaks when I put a hose on it for a few minutes.
If I was needing one of these covers for anything else I would buy another one from F&J Outdoors.

The size is large enough but the price is a bit expensive.
The quality of the cover is very good. The material is not very thick but very strong. There is a waterproof membrane inside, making the entire cover waterproof and tear-resistant.
This cover does not have a drawstring at the bottom to fix the cover, and there are Velcro in the middle of both sides to fix it. If there is a drawstring at the bottom, it will definitely ensure that it will not get wet in wind and rain, but it is not so sure that it is only fixed on both sides. Also I’m not sure if the size is right for the grill, the bottom of the oven will be exposed to the elements.
This cover fits my barbecue like a glove and feels much sturdier than my previous one. It’s held up well against wind and rain, and the material seems durable enough to withstand the elements. I appreciate the velcro straps for a secure fit and the handles for easy removal. It’s a good investment for protecting my grill.

A quality made cover made with quality materials.
There is a Velcro fastener at either end but I would still use a couple of bungee cords wrapped around cover for stormy weather.
This is obviously a large BBQ cover that protects well.
It comes in a zipped clear sided storage bag/case.
It may appear expensive but it is competitively priced for such a large quality made cover.

I like this heavy Oxford fabric barbecue cover as I am familiar with the durability of this type of fabric and indeed how to launder it if necessary to keep the fabric looking like new. We are using it to cover our Camping Gas Series 3 three burner unit and whilst it is a little bigger than we would ideally like, being a generic item, it doesn’t fit quite as well as one of the manufacturer’s own.
In terms of comparison between the manufacturer’s own cover and this item, I found that the material used in this item is far superior in terms of thickness and apparent strength. The velcro straps are good at assisting in retaining the cover, however, on windy days, particularly in the winter I have concerns that these straps will not be adequate to keep our barbecue covered. Only time will tell as we have not had any sustained wind here since I started using it. I have no doubt that F & J’s assurance that it will last for three years is an under estimate as these things last for years if regularly cleaned.
So four not five stars? What’s the issue? Despite the fact that this item is manufactured from good quality waterproof fabric, I am not confident that it will remain on our barbecue during very windy weather, thus subjecting it to the elements, it does have a nice handle for removing the cover and a bag for storing the cover in when not in use, however, priced at 38.99 on 13th May 2024, I do think that it is a little expensive and would merit a fifth star were it a little cheaper.
Purchased the first one back in 2020, and just ordered a second today as the first is finally giving up the ghost, despite my best efforts with black Gorilla tape to hold it together. For the price and its endurance over the past few years, I wholeheartedly recommend this cover if you’re looking for something to last 3-4 years. Here are the details: It’s covering a grill that sits outside year-round on an exposed southwest-facing deck in Montana, enduring scorching summers, bitter winters, and fierce winds. It held up admirably for the first three years, only showing signs of fading and developing a few small tears (easily patched up with black Gorilla tape), but tonight I noticed a couple more rips. With the tape repairs looking rather makeshift and the cover crumbling and fading, I decided it had served its purpose well and opted for a replacement rather than attempting further repairs. Given that I got a solid four years of service for under 30 bucks, I reckon that’s a pretty good deal, and the new one should last the remaining life of this grill. For my next grill, however, I think I’ll invest in a cover made of more substantial and longer-lasting material, like canvas or something truly heavy-duty, that will endure the grill’s lifetime. Nonetheless, this cover is really good value for the price.
The cover is accurate to the measurements and as such fitted my weber BBQ just right. The quality of the cover is excellent – the seams are accurate and have no problems or poor stitching to undermine the linespan of the cover. The only gripe is the velcro straps are wrap-over ones which always look poor, but then this is a trait shared with the majority of the competition. This new cover will definitely protect the BBQ for a few more years and the old cover can retire gracefully after good service!
This BBQ cover is really well made, strong, durable and waterproof. The adjustable straps mean you can get a snug fit which should prevent the wind from blowing it off. No doubt the pigeons will decorate it for me but the material seems like it would clean very easily with a hose and if not certainly with a jet wash.
The BBQ cover has proven to be exceptionally robust. It’s survived several storms already without any wear or leaks, keeping the grill perfectly dry and protected. The material is quite heavy, which reassures me that it won’t tear easily or fly off in the wind. Fitting it over the grill is straightforward, and the snug design means it stays exactly where it needs to be. It’s been effective at keeping the grill like new, which is precisely what I wanted.
I was immediately impressed by the quality of the zipped fabric bag this arrives in, which will be retained to store it in when not in use. Even this storage bag has been well made to last with adequate room to be able to return the cover into it without the normal difficulty experienced with similar products.
The cover itself is made of heavy weight, superior feel, materiel and gives a reassuring feel that it will survive many winters.
Good fixing straps to hold it in place though the wind and storms.

I cannot imagine what more I would want from a cover. It is a quality product which, in my opinion, is worthy of 5*.
