Worked a treat, I’ve reviewed a lot of these now – but I liked that this one was super compact in comparison to others. Happily got my 530d tyres inflated with ease.
This cordless tire inflator delivers powerful inflation capabilities, perfect for quickly refilling car tires. It includes a range of preset modes, customizable settings, and the auto shut-off feature for safe use. The bright LED light and additional nozzles make it versatile for inflating various items. Its compact, cordless design means I can take it anywhere.
This is a very nifty GarageRock Cordless Tyre Inflator. It is a super compact in size but it packs a lot of punch. it could easily fit in a glove compartment or live in a cargo box on a motorbike in case of emergencies. it even has a light incorporated into it to make things easier if your emergency at night time, and a an LED screen to show the air pressure you are working at.
It comes with fab clear instructions ( it must have, I could work it easily and honestly when it arrived I hadn’t a clue) and it also has a little protective bag to keep it in. I’m not going to lie, I don’t love that its rechargeable, as I suspect I’d struggle to include “remember to charge the air pressure device I never use” on my to do list – this is certainly something you want to work out-of-the-box, (regardless of when you open the box) but that aside it really does an amazing job of releasing air, and is fully adjustable depending on the job you are trying to get done. I even blew up a party room of balloons with this as it has a special attachment to complete this job, it was great fun and very easy, so yay!
Struggled with flat tyres in less-than-ideal situations more times than I’d care to admit. Having something reliable that fits snugly in the boot has shifted how I view preparedness on the road. It’s not about the tech specs but the assurance it gives with each use. Whether heading out for a long drive or just around town, it’s become a staple in my vehicle. The ease of use is notable, particularly in those late hours when you’d rather be anywhere but on the side of the road fixing a tyre.
I love this tyre inflator, and for my style of riding find it to be a better carry than disposable compressed air canisters.
Its too big to fit in an under saddle pouch and weighs almost 400g, but for my commute and leisure rides, where I use panniers, this is brilliant solution that saves money and, for me at least, is more trust worthy than canisters.
This nifty little gadget really is a game changer. It is small enough to fit into your glove box in your car or your backpack if you have a bike.
It comes with everything you need to inflate car tyres or bike tyres. We have an e-bike and have used this and it’s so clever, it shuts off automatically when it senses that there is enough air in the tyre so there is no risk of overinglating and busing the tyre.
It’s really quick too, it only takes a minute or two to inflate, so you save yourself time and energy while this machine does the hard work!
It’s literally the press of a button, you select the type of tyre you have and that’s it!
Spring is on its way, and we needed to get the bikes out for a run around. This little inflator has been extremely useful.
It is quite simple to use. Turn the device on, select the bike setting, for me, I also select the PSI units. I then look the value up on the wheel and use the adjustment to select it on the inflator. The set comes with a little bag to hold the inflator, which also holds the tube and accessories. Screwing in the tube is easy, and then it screws in to the wheel just as easy. Pressing the inflate button and the device just caries on until it hits the set value. It is difficult to see how it could be much simpler. Did several sets of tyres without the device showing any signs of low charge (although I did charge it up again, no point leaving it flat).
This is one of the most compact tire inflators I’ve ever seen, but don’t be fooled by size, because it has the power capacity needed to make sure, that your tires stay inflated at all times.
The inflator powered by Li-ion battery, there is also an USB cable to keep the inflator charged and ready at all times.
Using this inflator is quite easy and simple – all you need to do is to set the desired pressure on the digital display, using the buttons on the inflator. Usually the inflation specs for your car tyres could be found under the fuel cap, or in the manual of the car.
Once, the required pressure is set, all it has left to do is to turn on the inflator. It will do all the job, and will stop the inflation once the pressure is reached.
I’m very happy to recommend this inflator, it’s very easy in operation and maintenance, and gets the job done.
This product came nicely packaged in a printed retail box.
What’s in the box?: Pump, detachable flexible hose, ball and inflatables adaptors, USB charging cable, storage/carry bag.
Straight out of the box this pump feels and looks robust and well designed. The plastic moulded case feels like it can take the knocks of everyday use.
There’s a small LED display and an orange circular keypad on the front. On the base is a charging connector and on the top is the connection for the flexible tube and a small LED light.
Operation is pretty straightforward using the orange key pad. Pressing the centre button for 2 seconds turns on the unit and the display illuminates with a variety of numbers and icons including a charge level indicator.
Pressing the top button cycles through five modes: Car, motorbike, cycle, balls & inflatables and custom mode.
Once you have selected your tyre type you can the select the units you wish to work in: PSI, Bar, kPa, Kg/Cm3.
Finally set the target pressure you wish to achieve using the left and right buttons, you’ll see the figure change with each press.
Screw the flexible hose into the case and connect the push fit connector to the tyre. Turn the unit on using the centre button and the pump will start.
On the display you’ll see two readings, the bottom one is the pressure you set and the top one is the current tyre pressure which will begin to increase. When the top reading reaches the bottom target amount the unit will turn off and it’s time to disconnect the tubing.
I used this pump to top up my car tyres and it worked fine. Don’t expect garage compressed air performance, each tyre took a couple of minutes to move through a couple of PSI but that’s on a par with most plug in pumps.
Bike tyres, balls and inflatables took a lot less time and this pump’s wireless portability make it well suited to this type of job.
Verdict: This is a nice wire free rechargeable pump. Great for an emergency situation especially with the built in LED torch. It’s not too heavy and would be easy to carry while out cycling.
Perfect Father’s day present!
This is a good little and portable tyre inflator, that is light and so easy to transport around with you.
Very easy to use.
The instructions are very clear and thorough, we had it working within minutes.
I like the fact that it is rechargeable and that it comes in its own drawstring bag.
The pump is really easy to use, has pre-set modes for car, motor bike, bike and ball. On top of that , you can choose between how many bars, psi, kpa or kg/cm2. It also has a light if you need to use it at night. Comes with four different attachments. Great value for the price
