My latest purchase of this hedgecutter was to replace my previous one. Garcare customer service was excellent & they offered a no quibble refund & suggested I keep the battery & charger as spares & buy a new one which happened to be currently 10 cheaper on Amazon than the previous one. The new one seems perfect. I had no hesitation in buying the same one despite what appears to be motor failure as it’s a great hedgecutter.
I received the telescopic hedge cutter yesterday. The battery was fully charged . I used the hedge cutter in the afternoon to cut a 20 metre hedge which was well over 4 metres in height. The cutter performed really well and even after finishing the job , the battery still had two bars of charge displayed on the battery. Time will tell how the cutter performs after further use .
Very easy to get set up; very easy to change modes and extend; comfortable to use but I didn’t bother with the strap (couldn’t work out how to use it). Cut through pretty much everything. Only the first year I have used it but it has made cutting three tall hedges so much easier.
