Very sharp and its kept sharp after a lot of use . Its easy to pull and push on with little effort and makes a very clean cut. It light and folds down to a small size to clip onto your tool belt when climbing. It’s a quality product. I might buy a larger one . I’ve used the Silky brand before which are good but I prefer this .

Cuts superb, feels cheap but the quality of the cut is superb so you can forgive how it feels.

Great piece of kit and would highly recommend. Worth every penny.

I wondered how tight or loose the handle might be due to its folding mechanism, but it’s rock solid. It may not remain so over years of use, of course, but I can always glue it and lock it into the open position if it ever becomes a problem.

I always through they put the handles on the wrong end of saws, making them harder to use than they should be, but the Japanese got it right: these are much more civilised, and having a thinner blade means you remove less material, which reduces the work and loss of length of the wooden pieces you’re working with. My other saws are now enjoying their retirement.

The two cutting edges are different: one only cuts when pulling, while the other cuts more strongly on the pull than the push. Be very careful when cleaning the blade as those spikes are sharper than the ordinary saws you may be familiar with.
