Projecting this onto my bedroom wall which isnt a totally smooth surface but I can’t see any of the marks on the wall on the picture.
It was ridiculously easy to set up with the Auto Correction and the 4K picture quality is amazing, as is the sound quality from the JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos – even with the C1 located to the side of my bed the sound feels like it’s coming from all around me.
It’s got all the Apps I need to watch like Netflix, Disney+, YouTube and the standard catch ups.
I’m totally impressed with the Hisense C1.
It’s worth noting in my pictures and video that there’s a bracket in the way – this is from our TV that was wall mounted which we’ve now removed – we’re intending to mount a pull down screen and use the projector full time. Also worth mentioning that our walls are painted grey, so I imagine the quality will only get more impressive with a white wall/screen.
As my media hopefully shows, this is really an awesome bit of kit. It only took 10 minutes to setup. There was quite a bit of fiddling afterwards; selecting the best picture mode, brightness, zoom etc, but once we got it how we wanted it was spot on. We did have to play around with the Bluetooth settings to get the soundbar working properly, but everything is now working perfectly.
It self-focuses too, which is awesome, and the picture quality is incredibly crisp. It’s simple enough to work, and the most important thing is that it works well! It’s a good size as in not too big (although very heavy considering the compact size!)
We’re going to take it round to a friends house to have a movie night in the garden, so that should be fun.
The price is high, there’s no doubt. But all I can do is give my honest opinion (and show me using it) to say how much we like it.
