Have been looking for the right back pack for ages, this is the 4th one so far !!!! And I must say it’s pretty much perfect right amount of compartment, comfortable to wear, fits exactly what I want, and looks kinda cool well for an old man like me, that’s saying something seems to be well made (have only had it a week) but it’s used everyday

I got this as I have to travel for work at times and knowing that I can pack for a few days into a small bag which I can get through Easyjets ever decreasing hand luggage size.

The bag itself is quite robustly built, the fabrics/ matierals used all feel thick and premium. The stitching has been well executed and gives the bag a real strength when throwing it around. I have only used it in the unexpanded way as Easyjet will make you check the bag to the hold if it is expanded, however I have had no problem with packing a few days for work events with this bag and still having room for chargers/ laptops, notebooks etc alongside my clothes.

The bags large compartment makes it supe easy to pack tightly. Having access to smaller cubes allows you to really cram things into the bag which loose would normally not fit so well. I also found these useful on the work trips to destiguish between worn and unworn clothes.

The bag can be held in a number of ways however the backpack style feels most natural because of the weight of the laptop/ clothes in the bag. The straps are quite plush so this really helped with the weight. The bag also has a mesh design to it which makes it quite breathable while on my back.

The pocket system is also quite good, the way they have done the laptop pocket is quite smart. You are able to open up the compartment of the main opening and slide the laptop out without having to open the whole bag up. Also the handy parts pocket is perfect for boarding passes and passports for quick access.

Overall, I am quite impressed with this bag. It have a number of Eastpak bags and this bag is just as good of quality compared to them. The amount I am able to hold/ store is excellent also! I am very happy with this and can highly recommend! 5/5!

This is a bag with lots of storage capacity, possibly too much as in a bag with lots of pockets it’s possible to lose things, only to find them months later (not good when it’s a CD that’s now cracked in half, and I’ve done exactly that with a laptop bag). I nearly lost an iPad Mini in the bag just doing the review!

So, what’s it got in terms of storage? Let’s go through the numbered photos, starting from the front of the bag.

    1. A side-opening pouch big enough to take an A4 writing pad.

    2. A top-opening pouch with multiple pockets for pens, pencils, laptop accessories, whatever. The one at the bottom of the picture is stitched across halfway, it will take an A5 writing pad or swallow an iPad Mini but not a full-sized iPad. The pouch further down towards the bottom of the bag will also swallow an A5 book or an iPad Mini, but an iPad can stand up in it. It’s very easy to miss this pouch, if it weren’t for the bag feeling suspiciously padded you wouldn’t realise it’s there.

    3. A side-opening pouch, big enough for a 15″ MacBook but that’s not what it’s for. There’s also a zipped compartment in here big enough for A4 documents. This entire pouch is expandable; the next zip down releases a fold of fabric to male this section about 5 inches deep. Clothes? Ring binders? The choice is yours.

    4. A side-opening pouch with padded laptop compartment, big enough for a 15″ MacBook, and an elasticated velcro strap to hold it there. More room for paperwork, too.

    5. A deep, top-entry pouch. Big enough for A4 stuff again. No zip but sort of secured by the rucksack shoulder straps.

    6. A padded, zipped, top-entry pouch. Takes A5 documents at a push, will take an iPad Mini (rescued from pouch 2) but is good for important documents (such as a passport) and cash. When worn as a rucksack this pouch is in contact with your back, unless you use…

    7. A horizontal, open-both-sides space you could probably use for an umbrella. Unzipped but secured by the adjustable section of the shoulder straps.

It also comes with a little keyring clip so you can fasten your keys to a matching clip found on a strap within Pouch 2.

Other things it comes with are a pair of zip-up bags (presumably for toiletries, underwear, etc.) and a carry strap for if you don’t want to use it as a rucksack. If you don’t want to use them, it’s not like you’ve got nowhere to put them!

All in all a very good bag for students or even for short breaks, as you can carry things to do and things to wear all in the same great bag. Fairly secure too, a thief would have a hard time undoing enough zip (or even finding the zip as it just looks like a seam) to be able to take anything valuable without getting caught.

A good quality, versatile backpack which can also be used as a smal luggage case and is expandable to 30L if required. It comes with lots of pockets for separating clothes from toiletries, etc and two accessory bags for even more compartmentalising. The laptop section is fine for anything under 14″ but the zipper stops you putting in anything larger without risking it getting scrathed – not its best feature. The material is strong and built to last and overall it is a decent travel bag to have. The price of 49.99 (at time of review) may be off-putting but an additional 7 off voucher was also available at chceckout.

This is a well thought out bag. It has a strap in the middle of the back that you can slide over the handle of a small wheelie bag. Just underneath there’s a convenient zipper pocket for passport / tickets. More accessible, less steal-able. Comes with little packing cubes in the main compartment. A front pocket for bits and pieces that’d be easily accessible in an overhead locker. This is a gem of a bag, actually.

his backpack is a great replacement for carry-on cases, but its size may not fit all airlines’ personal item restrictions. Despite that, it’s sturdy with durable zips and convenient laptop access. The pocket for small items is handy, though not ideal for wallets. Comfortable to carry, it suits various travel needs. The waterproof feature and suitcase strap add extra value. It’s spacious and well-organized, perfect for short trips. However, check airline regulations before expanding its size. Despite its slightly high price of 45.99 (after 10 voucher), it’s a worthwhile investment for frequent travelers.

This is a really nice bag that is designed to replace current carry on cases, but it’s too big to be used as a personal item with all the airlines we use. It’s well made, strong and the zips feel like they have a long life. I like the easy access to the laptop/tablet area. I’ll just have to remember to keep the easy access out of sight. The parts pocket is a nice idea, but I wouldn’t add my wallet to that storage. The shoulder straps feel nice when in use and with weight inside. I will use it (carry it) all three ways depending on what I’m doing or where I’m going, so it’s nice to have all the options. I haven’t tested that it’s waterproof yet. The strap over the larger suitcase is a good addition for folks like me. The area inside for smaller wet items/creams etc will prove useful for one or two nights away.

Upon opening the package, it was immediately apparent that this is a high-quality backpack that doubles as a suitcase. It’s the perfect size for carry-on luggage. The backpack features numerous high-quality fittings, zips, and handles that seem robust and capable of withstanding a significant amount of weight. I appreciate the numerous compartments that are perfect for various items, including passports. The black colour is lovely and blends in seamlessly for travel. It opens out like a suitcase but can also be carried using the shoulder straps if needed. This would likely be more comfortable for longer journeys than holding the suitcase handle. The backpack has many compartments inside, allowing you to store a variety of items, including clothes and your laptop. I’m really fond of this bag. It exudes quality and sophistication, and I’m looking forward to taking it on many trips abroad.

This bag is extremely versatile. It has thick straps to be carried as a backpack, handles to be carried as a briefcase and a long strap to be carried over the shoulder. There is also an elasticated strap on the back of the bag to attach it to a suitcase. The size can be expanded significantly (by 5 cm) to turn it into a small cabin bag for travelling. The expansion provides an extra 6 litre capacity to pack clothes and toiletries. There are many compartments for that purpose, with a waterproof separation bag for toiletries. The straps can be tucked inside bespoke pockets when used as a case.

Before travelling though, I would advise to check the airline baggage size allowance to make sure that it does not exceed their allowed measurements and weight once expanded. I personally like to pack my laptop when I travel so this bag will come very handy if I am travelling light with just hand baggage. With allowance weights of up to 15kg (of which I could easily reach on a regular basis), I hope that the straps and stitching hold out. So far they seem sound.

At 45.99 after applying a 10 off voucher at the time of writing this, it is not as competitive as I would like but if it lasts the distance, then it will be money well spent.

I bought this bag initially as a work/laptop bag but have since used it when flying. Combining this with a small suitcase means I can take enough clothes for a 3 day trip comfortably.

I bought this bag as a present for a colleague and they really like it. They love the space it provides, the compartments it has and the option to charge their phone conveniently.

This seems like a good quality bag. Mine was not damaged by vacuum packing and smelled nice (a hint of leather). It has plenty room for all the essentials that a light traveller, like me, would need. I will try to post an update after using it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a useful laptop backpack. In the main compartment, here are a number of pockets to put all manner of electronic devices and power cables, notebooks and pads. There are zipped pockets too. I was quite impressed with the number of little pockets. The shape does lend itself to the storage of flat items such as laptops, iPads, books etc., but there’s no reason you couldn’t throw some toiletries and a set of clothes in and use as hand luggage. I actually like the slim shape – laptop backpacks I’ve had in the past have been quite bulky, so having one that hugs your back helps to maintain balance.

Construction of the bag seems very good. The fabric is supposed to be tear resistant and water resistant. Please note, the latter does not indicate it’s waterproof, only that it can resist a bit of water splash. The padding in the bag seems adequate – they could have perhaps bumped up the padding on the shoulder straps, as when I loaded up the bag it did get quite heavy and my shoulders did feel the weight of it, to the point it got almost uncomfortable after a while.

I don’t like the logo – I’m just not keen on branding in general, but there’s only one instance of it and I might look to sew something over it.

I thought 26.99 was a high price, but I compared to similar bags on Amazon and its actually on the money.
