What are the requirements of this HP+ printer?
The optional cloud-connected HP+ printing system requires an HP account, ongoing internet connection, and the use of Original HP Ink Cartridges for the life of the printer.
Does an HP+ printer require a subscription to the Instant Ink service or other ongoing costs?
No, there are no additional costs associated with HP+. You can choose to enrol in an optional subscription for Instant Ink and receive 6 monthly subscription, but it is not required.

This printer is just right for what i need, my usage is light both for printing and scanning and it does a good job for both – it does take a while to start printing from the point of sending a document to print but that does not pose any problem for me.
It is the first time I have had a wireless printer, the ability to send a document to print remotely from my phone or laptop really useful.
I got fed up of my old printer constantly giving me error messages and not printing properly so decided to invest in this new one. I love that the ink cartridges are individual so you can replace one colour if you use it a lot rather than the whole colour cartridge. I’m not brilliant with technology but this was so easy to set up wireless to both my phone and my laptop.
Cartridge life is moderate for a printer of its size and capabilities. Would recommend for home use but not nearly powerful enough for volume printing on a day to day or office basis.
Bear that in mind and you should be happy with this little home multifunction from HP
I had a previous HP printer that eventually would not pick up paper, its a major rebuild so cheaper to buy a new one and sign up for the ink cartridges , all working fine now and good quality printing
It is very durable, and can connect with the HP+ to print. Print quality is also amazing.
Hp+ plus is very good as its a subscription which is not very expensive and they send ink to your door. Ink is very expensive if you buy it alone.

I didnt realise how hard this would be but quickly picked up I needed a printer that would print large quantities. This printer prints 800 pages a month and come with an instant ink package.
My package is 700 pages to print a month but I got 9 months free ink trial with it. Instant ink was so easy to set up and can be cancelled at any time.
I have learned that to get the best from the print side of the printer you do need to use good quality paper for the best print quality.
I do get smears occasionally but It has a print head cleaner setting and that works well.
The printer is set up to my computer by Wi-Fi but can also be set up on your phone on the hp smart app.
I have a small gift tag business and the printer has allowed me to bring the standard of my tags to another level.
