I wanted to have security cameras that came with the ability to view when I was away from home and be able to save any footage required. I have found these cameras provide great footage and the security ligyt means that they capture great footage at night as well

Easy to follow instructions, great quality camera and easy to put up. Have just set it all up today within about 5 mins and it was ready to roll. Happy with it. And good price too.

We wanted something cheap & cheerful as a spat of break ins locally. These really impressed us for the money. Solar works well so once charged the solar takes over. The clarity both day & night is better than I expected. Slight delay but nothing much. You can also control a remote light, voice & siren. Easy to fit, no fee app, happy days.

I was really sceptical about using this camera outside the UK (Africa) but it has been amazing. I bought just one to try it out and I can’t wait to add more. The solar panel works fine. Video quality is good! Since there is more sun in Africa, battery life hasn’t been an issue at all. I highly recommend this.

5.0 out of 5 stars I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Came on time. Picture quality is excellent easy to install connected to WiFi with ease . The product itself seems very well made and robust. Couldn’t fault it at the moment. Just what I needed for garden. Everything I needed was included. I tested the alarm which I am more than sure will scare of any unwanted visitors. I would highly recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersAfter trying out the IHOXTX Security Camera Outdoor Wireless with Flood Light, I am thoroughly impressed! This innovative camera comes equipped with a solar panel, which makes it environmentally friendly and cost-effective, as I no longer worry about battery replacements. Installation was a breeze, with clear instructions and all necessary components included. The wireless connectivity ensures a hassle-free setup without the clutter of wires.

The camera quality is top-notch. It delivers crisp and clear video footage both day and night, thanks to the integrated floodlight. Additionally, the mobile app is intuitive and user-friendly, enabling me to monitor my property with ease from anywhere.

The camera is excellent quality, really easy to install and the sound quality is unbelievable, I can hear people across the street having a conversation. It doesn’t use up much space on the memory card .

We have a Guinea Pig shed and enclosure and now a chicken run! The former is dotted with Blink cams which I find good, and battery life is not too bad, but Lithium Batteries do tend to be higher priced.

This offered “solar” powered goodness, and I took a risk on one when an offer meant it was 30 and ended up getting another I was so impressed.

Camera is good and chunky, supplied with mount and screws. The same with the solar panel and it also has a decent length of cable as camera position is not always the best one for getting the most sun.

Good app, and although we don’t use the motion detection and siren, they seem to work fine. What is interesting is it will connect with Alexa, so we can view Chicken 1 and 2 on the kitchen Echo Show and the Fire TV.

Night vision is good, and you can set the picture quality and also whether the light comes on, which allows colour vision at night.

You can remove the camera to charge with a USB, but so far solar power has kept the batteries up at 90% or more. The winter will be the real test, but at worst it might be a case of taking the camera off and plugging in inside.

Recording you seem to need a sub, but we use it to see what the chucks are up to and when they’ve gone to bed!

Seriously thinking of getting a few more, keep an eye on price as I see today they are 38 but there is a 8 voucher offer meaning just 30. Just plan where you can put the solar panel and you should be away.

After a recent break in and thief of two battery powered tools I decided to install a security camera.
Did a bit of research and chose this one. I’m not tech savvy at all, but managed to get it to link to my phone via the app and had it installed in situ and so pleased with results. So impressed that I ordered another one the next day which took minutes to link and put up.
We live in a house with thick stone walls and not great WiFi so had to use an old WiFi extender.
The app it very easy to navigate
I particularly like the alarm with siren and light which you can set to activate during very hours at night. It works really well.
The solar means you don’t worry about the battery. I’m now deciding whether to subscribe to the plan which backs up all the footage or get an SD card.
Does the SD card continue to write over itself once it’s full?
    What size would I need?
Or is the plan the best?
    Does anyone know?

I have had this up and running for about a month . The solar panel is located on a roof where it gets a decent amount of sun but not always direct sun . It has fully charged everyday as you can check on the app . It was relatively easy to set up . When you put it up it tells you of the signal strength is ok , mine said it wasn’t that good but actually I put it there anyway and it’s totally fine . It’s a good distance from the house . I have mainly got it to spy on the chickens rather than security. So far I have seen them having a bbq , baking cakes , reading books and talking on their chicken mobile phones – this is probably why they never have time to lay eggs .

Bought this to overlook my chicken run, which is a distance from the house. Wasn’t sure the WiFi would pick up due to that distance but it does and the quality of the picture and even the sound are so good, I’ve ordered another one for the other side of the field. This little camera has withstood torrential rain and 50mph winds so far. Fantastic value for the 30 I paid. Battery lasted 2.5 weeks, without using the solar panel. Will attach that now I know the camera works well.

Very impressed with camera, easy to set up using app, solar panel charging as expected and picture quality very good, night vision also good,I use mine for watching the birds feed so I turned off motion sensor but can confirm it works great but obviously had to turn off as it would constantly be notifying me,video playback is great as shown, also have to say customer service was excellent, had a couple of questions to which they replied and resolved within 24hrs!

For the price I was not sure what to expect, however I have been blown away with the quality and how easy it is to use, I needed a camera at my back gate where I couldn’t trail wires and this has been the perfect solution.

Self charging, always on with real time notifications and great quality images and live feed I couldn’t recommend this camera enough

I recently purchased this camera to cover the back garden area of my property. I wanted a good camera for a decent price. After much research, I opted for this one due to it’s price, previous reviews and the fact that it was pretty much play-and-play. I’m really happy with the camera. The installation was easy and it just worked as soon as I set it up. The image quality is spot on (day and night) and there are some really useful features in the accompanying app. The solar panel that came with the camera has kept the battery topped up so far, so apart from the initial charge I did when I bought it, I haven’t had to touch it since. I also like the fact that it has an SD card slot which means you’re not forced to subscribe to a cloud service. Although, after owning it for less than a week and being so pleased with the results, I have now opted for the cloud service at 25 a year… Purely because of the extra content it allows. Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase and I think you’d struggle to beat this on price and quality.

i wanted to try a solar cctv , but didnt want to spend a fortune in case they dont work. this is good value , easy to install, reasonable picture quality, app works , but instruction in manual are printed too small to read easily. but fairly easy to work out. shame its only 2.4 wifi. good product to test the waters for solar cctv. will see how power lasts in winte

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWith paying the price I did I wasn’t expecting a lot but it’s reached high above all my expectations, easy to set up and install, really good battery life, great bright light and good sound and picture quality, the app works brilliant and has anything you need on there from the alarm and settings would definitively recommend for anyone to buy

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant value for money

This is a very good camera which can work indoors and outdoors. You can set the motion detection to be more or less sensitive to people, objects or animals.
The app is really good. The night vision can be adjusted so that you can see your images in colour and you can set it to alert you when somebody is in your property straight away on your mobile.
It comes with lots of features. I haven’t explored them all yet but I think it is really good value to money. You can select points where you would like to intensify the alarm trigger, for example door, windows, archways.
The attached photo was taken when I was testing it for the first time and the camera is positioned behind some mosquito netting. Even so the image is quite clear.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fit for purpose

I purchased two different cameras, unsure which would be any good. This one wins overall.

The other camera struggles with WiFi strength, this one doesn’t.
Negative, the field of view is good for long distance but if you wanted to focus on your backyard gate for example, it has a rather narrow field of view if pointing at close range.

Motion Detection seems good but the Solar Panel is small compared to the other, good enough to keep a charge but not enough to increase the charge levels.
So it regains it’s lost charge during the day and guessing it will last awhile but may need topping up in the future.

I also appreciate that even in full colour night mode, which means it turns the light on when it detects motion, this camera allows you to view the live feed in night vision mode by default, unlike that other camera that automated turns one the light, when entering live feed, which of course means this camera allows you to view the feed without alerting anybody unless they trigger the motion detection.
