This is a camera with a built-in thermal printer. It uses rolls of thermal paper, similar to the till in the shops. The print quality is not the best, but this is expected with the thermal printer. Also, the paper is very thin and the images are B&W after printing.
The camera screen shows images in colour but if you want to go for instant printing rather than transferring images to another printer, then you will get B&W photos.
The camera itself is quite well made and it looks rather good, for a child camera. It has a colourful display with cute icons.
The camera comes with USB-C cable and 32 GB micro SD card. To transfer photos from the camera you can either remove the SD card or transfer images via the USB cable.

This instant camera is great fun for children. My daughter loves it and spends part of her day playing with it. Photo quality is good enough for a thermal printer and makes no difference while the children play with it. Just the fact they can have a physical copy of their photo, makes their day.
I recently got the instant print camera for my son. The simplicity of use is fantastic. Even at his young age, he quickly grasped how to take photos and print them out, bringing him so much joy. The fact that it prints black and white photos is a charming touch. It gives him creations a classic, nostalgic feel, and he likes seeing his pictures come to life in that way. The addition of 32GB provides plenty of space for him to store all his treasured memories. It’s also sturdy enough to handle the inevitable bumps and drops that come with being a kid.
My journey into self-care introduced me to a gadget blending traditional wellness with modern technology. The experience, though initially met with curiosity, proved to be a soothing escape. The varied settings allowed for personalization, fitting my needs across different days and moods. Its portability ensured that my little oasis of relaxation was never far from reach, whether at home or while traveling. Despite its many benefits, I found the instruction manual less than clear, a hurdle for those new to the concept. This device, however, has become a pivotal part of my wellness routine, a bridge between ancient practices and contemporary living.
Great camera that gives an extra feature to print out paper. Makes it a lot more easier instead of paying extra to get it printed out and sent to your house. The camera quality is decent and the paper is also fairly decent as well. My kid loves it a lot and gave it to them as a surprise and now they always use it to take pictures with the cats or even the family as well! Great camera with the extra features.
My kids love taking pictures and seeing them print right away. It’s easy to use, and the included paper and accessories get them started right away. The photo quality isn’t professional, but it’s perfect for capturing memories and fueling their imagination. The built-in games and video recording are fun bonuses too.
This camera is a delightful choice for young kids. My 11-year-old daughter expressed interest in having one after I purchased a similar camera for my younger daughter. It seems specifically designed for pre-teens who would enjoy capturing silly moments with their friends.
The camera operates using thermal paper, similar to what you find on receipts. It prints dots in varying strengths to produce relatively decent-looking black and white images.
Moreover, the camera can save color digital versions to an SD card. While the image quality doesn’t match that of even the most basic proper camera, it still provides a way for children to transfer the photos to a computer and experiment with imaging software.
Additionally, the camera features a few simple games. Although they won’t hold a child’s attention for hours, they can be entertaining during short car journeys when there’s nothing else to do.
Overall, this camera serves as a great gift for a child who wants to explore photography. It acts as a hybrid between a toy and a functional camera.
Having handed this camera to my niece on her birthday, it was remarkable to see her ditch my smartphone and become engrossed in capturing and printing her own adventures. The camera is robust enough to handle the enthusiastic usage by a child while being simple enough for her to operate independently. The immediate gratification of printed photos adds to her excitement, though the photo quality is basic. It’s a tool that encourages her to be creative and explore hersurroundings.
My ten year old god son gave this a thumbs up and he found it easy to use and navigate. Set up was simple and quick and he enjoyed being able to snap away and print out the little pics (rather like a till roll receipt). The results were okayyyyyyy – definitely meeting his requirements but not good enough for adult use I’d say. He did have some trouble in tearing the printed pictures off the roll using the camera machine but there was a knack to it which he mastered. All in all a super item, ideal for a kiddie holiday or special trip to somewhere to capture those memories in hard copy. Good price too for what you get. I dropped a specific star for print quality, but overall five stars as its great for the money.
The Instant Print Camera for Kids is a wonderful gift idea that children absolutely adore. As a parent, I can confirm its entertainment value and popularity among kids aged 3 to 12.
The concept of an inkless instant print photo digital camera is brilliant. It enables kids to capture and print their memories instantly, sparking their creativity and imagination. The pink color option adds to its appeal, making it an attractive choice for both young girls and boys.
I’ve seen firsthand how much joy and excitement this camera brings to children. They love taking selfies, capturing special moments, and sharing their printed photos with family and friends.
Furthermore, it’s an excellent travel toy that keeps kids entertained for hours. Whether they’re on a road trip, holiday, or simply at home, this instant print camera provides endless fun and excitement.
In summary, the Instant Print Camera for Kids is not only a fantastic gift idea but also a source of continuous enjoyment for children. It encourages creativity, nurtures imagination, and allows kids to create lasting memories. I highly recommend it to any parent looking to delight their child with a fun and interactive toy.
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.
In terms of quality, the camera has a nice, robust build, with a sleek finish. It’s small, and lightweight enough that it could easily be popped in to a bag. The colour and design are also true to life.
My child found it very easy to set up and start using, thanks to the responsive, and user-friendly interface. They have been printing their photos a lot, and have also been able to reload the paper themselves (importantly, the mechanism for this is safe).
Surprisingly, the stand out feature of the camera for me, personally, is the included games on the handset – there’s one particular puzzle that my child has really enjoyed playing. The aim of that game is to move around three blocks and put them in to specific squares – really simple, but challenging enough to keep my child occupied (additionally, there are other puzzles, like one that is very similar to a well-known retro shape stacking game, etc.).
Charging the camera is straightforward, thanks to the USB-C compatibility. The battery lasts fairly well on its own.
Overall, a very good value set. Recommended.
I have ordered kids digital cameras for my son in the past and he loves walking around taking pictures of everything. The only thing that disappoints him is not having the pictures on hand to put up in his room.
He is almost five so he is still learning how to take pictures properly and often takes pictures of random things, but I want him to have the freedom and creativity of capturing things he notices and I don’t want to have to use my printer for the mass of random pictures he takes.
This was the perfect solution as it’s almost like a Polaroid in the fact the picture can print immediately after taking. It doesn’t require any fancy film, just a roll of heat print paper. You get 2 rolls of the paper in the box and one is already inside the camera itself.
It’s relatively simple to use and has an intuitive interface. It is a bit advanced for my 4.5 year old but as long as I set it up for him he can easily take pictures with the press of a single button.
You can choose whether to have the pictures print immediately or you can turn off this feature and just print on demand from the picture menu. This is probably the best option if you have a click happy toddler, until they get the hang of being more selective with picture taking.
The picture quality isn’t great, especially in low light, but using the flash improves it considerably. And while some images may appear full of static on the little screen, when you print them they look fairly normal.
The images on screen are in colour and can be downloaded onto your computer from the included memory card. Obviously it only prints in black and white, but the contrast is quite good so images are quite clear (even my picture in a dark room of my black cat came out quite well).
The camera is rechargeable and comes with a charging cable. It also comes with a strap to wear the camera around your neck. For some reason there are some cheap colouring pens included in the box. I assume this is so the kids can decorate around the pictures they print with their own designs.
The camera menu has multiple options include picture mode, video mode, picture review screen, music mode, and like many of these kids cameras there are also some games on the system.
It is a really interesting take on the digital camera for kids and we love that we can immediately print our son’s best pictures off the camera. We’ve even got him a notice board now so that he can pin his favourite pictures up in his room.
It is a little expensive for what it is (33.99 at the time of order), but with the print features, the bonus rolls of paper, and the ease of use, I think it would make a fantastic gift for your young kids.
This is ideal for kids, it was designed to be used as a camera but it also has a few games.
It prints on regular roll paper and is black and white, comes with a few pens so kids can colour the photos they take.
Printing image is ok, not the best but for the price of the camera, makes it decent.
Lots of fun for kids going around taking photos and then colouring it in.
This camera is available in powder blue colur and will provide hours of entertainment for your children.
I wasn’t really expecting much about this instant camera’s functionality since it is made for kids’ yet as an adult I also enjoyed its range of entertaining features.
Aside from the camera, it includes adorable filter frames, games, and a music player, which add to its versatility. I like how compact and sturdy it feels, and it can definitely withstand the inevitable bumps and drops from younger users. Its lightweight and ergonomic design also made it easy for small hands to use.
The operational buttons and controls are likewise simple to use, and the included 32GB memory card provides plenty of storage space for a large number of snapshots.
Another feature that impressed me was the camera’s thermal printing, which added an element of excitement and gratification. Its black-and-white prints had a charming vintage aesthetic, reminiscent of classic Polaroid snapshots—a nice touch that made me nostalgic for my own childhood experiences with instant cameras.
However, there is some inconsistency in print quality. While some photos came out sharp and clear, others had noticeable blurriness or uneven exposure, which detracted from their visual appeal.
Overall, while not without its flaws, this camera will definitely be enjoyed by a lot of children as a gift.
This was a really easy to use camera. You could work it out yourself or use the instruction. It came with games on, you could use just the camera or have it print thermal pictures. I was surprised at the 32gb card that came with it. You also got two extra printer rolls. Comes complete with charging cable “c”. All in all a really good little camera. Once set up a child of 4-5 onwards could use it.
This is probably the quickest I have ever reviewed an item… The camera arrived while I had 2 grandchildren here – it was in the hands of my grand daughter mere moments after opening the box – squeals of delight followed as we explored the many photo effects the camera provides (many selfies were taken, pink unicorn borders, love heart borders… You get the idea!)
Sadly, all you get to see is a photo of the dog , in poor light, with the rather weak flash. But, I have to say, photos taken from 1 to 8 megapixels, in good light were some of the best I’ve seen from what, essentially, is a toy camera. The black & white prints were also of good contrast and well detailed, given the limitations of thermal printing, there is an option to print ‘dots’ which can be coloured in with the provided felt tip pens.
There are obvious compression artifacts visible, on a large screen, if photos etc. are taken in poor light, otherwise very acceptable quality.
Providing Photographs, video, 5 games and able to play .mp3 files it should be engaging enough to provide much entertainment. The colour screen ‘plays back’ photos & video in a resolution that makes even the lesser quality content taken look reasonable.
Not a lot more I can say – apart from the obvious: a 32GB Micro SD card is going to store a huge amount of video & photos given the camera’s compression ratio, rechargeable by USB C cable (provide your own power adaptor) and a claimed (probably reasonably accurate) 2 hours battery life, helpful User Manual, and 3 rolls of thermal paper in total – it is going to amuse a child or 2 easily.
