Bought this to use my tablet as a small garden TV setup in the garden, now that I’ve got used to having one I don’t know how I got by without.

The clamp and ball head are solid and really well made. The whole thing folds nice and small and it’s lightweight.
The only caveat is that the stand isn’t going to take any abuse. But if you are reasonably careful with your gear it’s fine.

Other models I’ve had tended to sag, after just a few months.
Because this one is a different design, it is holding the position of my iPad Pro 12.9″ very well.
It easily copes with the weight, even it is ver lightweight itself.
Use the older ones I have, at home, but for rehearsals and gigs with brass bands and orchestras, I rely on this one, as it just gives you the confidence that it will stay exactly where you put it!
It’s always in my car, ready and waiting )if I’m not using it!), but is so lightweight that you could carry it anywhere, collapsed into its own little bag – which is, also, good quality.
Very, very happy with this and highly recommend it.

This stand holds my iPad, and can be raised to eye level height, for recording when I am standing. It is easy to put up and take down, light weight, and does exactly what I needed it to do.

Bought to hold tablet to use it’s camera to play Dartcounter online. Nice and stable, have to open the legs a little wider when holding tablet at full height which doesn’t cause a problem. Buy with confidence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stand for the price

I’ve had this stand since last year and use it quite a bit. I find it’s excellent for a phone and a standard tablet but I had a problem with my large iPad develop over time. While the stand held the screen in place well when it was positioned in portrait (you have to put the grab hands towards the bottom to balance that), I couldn’t get it to stay in place at a straight angle when it was in landscape mode, such as when I’m watching a video on it face on.
BUT when I unscrewed the swivel piece of kit and reattached it, it sorted it out completely!
It’s a great piece of kit for watching stuff as you can go hands free and position the height as you wish, while you get comfy in bed or your armchair.

Overall I really like this tripod. It is light and quite sturdy, although use over time will demonstrate how sturdy.
The way it opens is at first a bit strange compared to the usual music stand type tripods. However, after the initial use seems natural.
Mine is for use with a 9th generation 10.2 inch iPad and the fitting is very tight. I do not seem how it could fit any of the larger iPads without causing damage to the iPad or the tripod clamp. The spring mechanism is very strong requiring both hands to open making insertion of the iPad a little precarious. I normally use my ipad with an attachable key board case – the iPad part detaches from the keyboard – and I have to take the iPad out of the detached case to insert in the clamp. Other than that it is just what i needed.
