Very decent, very basic charger. It feels well built. It “fast charges” my Samsung phone, but it doesn’t pack enough power to “super fast charge” it. It’s also pretty bulky compared to some travel options from Anker that I own, so keep in mind you need enough clearance as it does stick out a lot + some room for the cable, as it plugs in from the front, not from the bottom.

Here we have a USB C charging plug with charging cable.
It comes in the usual blue and white packaging which looks professional and slick, and the plug is well packed inside.
As an immediate note, I was disappointed by the cable as it is not one of the higher quality Anker cables, and as it’s been fixed with a wire tie, it has dents through the cabling.
The plug itself has a reassuring weight to it and feels nice in my hands, while the top of it is slightly curved rather than being blunt and flat. This makes it look nicer than a lot of chargers.
It charges as well as expected, so I am happy with it.
This Anker fast charging plug and charging cable arrived sealed in a simply branded presentation box and the plug was protected within a frosted plastic bag. The cable was neatly coiled and kept together with a wire twist and there was a quick start guide included. I will be using the charger with my Apple products and it works well for this purpose.
The charging plug has the ability to charge a single device through its port and can deliver a maximum output of 20W with a variety of protocols. It is perfect for fast charging my iPad and is compact in size. The USB-C charging plug has been made with additional protection features for peace of mind including prevention against over current, over voltage, and any short circuiting. It feels like it has been made to a good specification with a semi matte plastic finish and is very lightweight.
The USB-C to USB-C cable included in the set is 1.5m in length with a soft touch plastic finish which I will say isn’t the most durable of finishes. The cable connections have a good fit into the ports without being too tight or loose. The connections themselves appear to be good quality and the USB-C ends don’t have any seams.
Priced at 9.99 at the time of reviewing, this fast-charging plug and cable combination is good value for the build quality. I would recommend this plug and cable set particularly as Anker products all have an 18-month warranty included and I will definitely be adding this brand to my list of trusted charging devices.
Anker have been my go-to charging brand for years now: reliable, solid, well-made and just great. This is a lower power (and lower price) charger that is really tiny and ideal for popping in a bag when out and about.
For slower-charging phones (i.e. those without fast charging) it’s ideal, and faster than chargers that come with many phones; some Android phones with fast charging will benefit from something with a bit more power. This is also ideal for most other USB-C charging devices – headphones, torches, speakers, and so on – which tend to charge at slower ratese.
It does also just charge one device, which is why it’s so small….
The cable that comes with it is good quality, though not like Anker’s more premium cables, particularly the braided ones, but it’s nice to have a bundled cable at all – a lot of chargers don’t come with them now.
A quick test verifies that it delivers the power it should deliver according to the packet, and with Power IQ it should adjust to most devices to charge them at the power they need.
All in all a great choice if you want something simple and small and don’t need high power.
