But over time. Start low down and take your time. As you get used to it up the levels and the time taken gets quicker. Using around twice a week and has helped reduce, remove hair. My view way better than waxing and eventually you get the smooth legs with this. Maybe not as quick as shaving. But overall really pleased
The design of this IPL hair removal device is beautiful and elegant, making it very pleasing to look at. It’s simple and convenient to use, with excellent hair removal results, and it’s painless! Although it’s a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth it in the long run.
This hair remover is very easy to use. I confess that I was scared because I have sensitive skin, but it has worked very well. So far I haven’t had any skin irritation. I’ve been using it for a month and a half and I’ve had good results, but I started at the lowest level and gradually increased it to avoid problems because, as I said, I have sensitive skin. So far so good and I highly recommend it.
First of all: I am a very hairy woman. I have been all of my life and it runs in the family on my father’s side. At 55, I sincerely wish that these machines had been available in the 80’s because there’s nothing worse than being overly hairy when you’re a teenager.
Now, I’m in the middle of being pre-menopausal and hair growth has now started happening in all other places besides the ‘normal’ one >.< You really can't win, can you? I am still awaiting results on my facial hairs but I can safely say that I'm really impressed with how this has dealt with underarm hairs and leg hairs. After having has IMMENSE growth in those two places for most of my adult life, I am FINALLY almost hair-free in these two areas. Obviously, I'm over the moon with this. I will not be using this on my underarms (as I'm not going for the whole body experience of smoothness - once a child of the 80's, always a child of the 80's) but I would be delighted if this will start reducing my mustache along with the hair on my neck (yes, I am THAT hairy). Only time will tell and I will return to this review once I have an answer.
IPL Hair Removal Device with Ice cooling function, White 2: I’ve never been for professional hair removal, preferring to deal with it using creams, waxes or razors and am always “on-duty” ready to pounce. However after using this for almost 8 weeks I’m virtually “on permanent leave”! This device is easy and quick to use with a minimum of discomfort, possibly a slight nip if anything and I especially like the cooling effect which really soothes and calms skin.
I’ve been using specifically on my under arms, my hairiest bit and my legs, which are far less hairy by comparison. I noticed quite a quick response on my legs, after using 2 x weekly at level 5, re-growth in hairs had become minimal and I’ve not shaved or used any product on these for the last couple of weeks and am now only using occasionally to maintain. My underarms are now reaching the same, hair-free level, I used this, on average 3 x weekly, reducing to twice weekly after about 5 weeks and am now going on to occasional maintenance. It’s all quite liberating and so nice not to have to think about it or manage the nicks and cuts!
This machine is almost 90 ( I note there are cheaper options of this brand but not sure if they are as effective or comfortable to use) so it is quite an investment but oh, so worth it I think. I’m looking forward to summer and getting out my smooth hair-free skin without any nasty razor scars or stubble. Very pleased with this device, It’s worked a treat.
This Hair Removal Device has good, clear instructions. It is lightweight and easy to hold. I would have liked the cable to be longer so didn’t have to sit so close to the plug socket.
You have to use it 2-3 times a week for the first 12 weeks and as I have only had it for a couple of weeks it is a bit early to tell if it is effective. I’m not sure I got every patch of skin to start with as it’s difficult to know exactly where you have treated to avoid overlapping the same area.
It isn’t painful to use although I did feel slight tingling and warmth afterwards but nothing painful.
I have had an ipl device before this one which took ages to recharge between pulses and you have to push the button each time. This one has been a refreshing change. There is a continuous mode which allows you to just turn it on and move around. It also has a cooling action around the light window. It works really well and feels pleasant. I have only been using for a couple of weeks so not sure how effective it will be but on the whole this is so much better than previous models. My only complaint would be that the wires is so short.
I tried them as I was a bit sceptical about it, on a small area on my arm and yes after the 3rd session I started to see the difference, basically, the portion where I used it the hair stoppedgrowingg and the hairs that have continued to grow are very thin and blonde and I can pull them off easily.
All in all a decent purchase I would say for someone that is just starting using IPL.
