Don’t you ever find it annoying when you go through a security scanner and you’ve emptied your pockets into the scanner tray only to find that when you walk through you’re bleeped back, because you’ve forgotten to declare your metal buckled belt..? Not anymore with this belt! Plus points are that it stretches for a nice snug fit and long enough for the girthiest among us – it’s a simple but effective buckle system, once you work out how it works, so then a good purchase 🙂

I wanted a slightly stretchy belt to use for carrying things like my phone holster case etc, that would not only be secure but would also ‘give’ a bit when moving, sitting and bending. This belt has proved an excellent answer. I adjusted the length easily, including sealing off the cut end with a match flame, as advised in the packaging and simply re-attached the buckle (make sure you check out how the buckle is attached at the cutting end before you actually take the buckle off because it is possible to not re-attach the buckle correctly if you’re not paying attention. If you don’t re-attach the buckle correctly you may think the belt is not as strong as it should be, or the belt may come adrift from the buckle. But, if you re-attach the buckle correctly after cutting the belt to the required length, then it is as secure as you could possibly want!) The whole belt is remarkably strong yet gives a little when you need the stretch. Although I’m using it for a slightly different purpose than normal, it would definitely be perfect for the normal job of holding one’s trousers up! It’s been so useful that I’m considering buying more to replace others that are too stiff or uncomfortable to wear.
