Bought it jet wash car and rinse off and it does that well. Pressure is not as high as mains one but sufficient to remove lose dirt before washing and with the variety of sprays does a good job of rinsing off. Can’t comment on battery life yet as not done whole vehicle in one go yet.
I liked this product because you don*t have to trail a hose pipe around after you, it is very handy for washing the car and doing the outside of my bungalow windows.
Cleans up the fascia to my office well. Need a larger bucket though as i use the the very useful ‘drop in a bucket’ hose attachment and the Jet Hawk empties the bucket pretty swiftly. Very versatile tool to have. I do have a high end Karcher at home but all a bit cumbersome for those smaller jobs.
I like the way it feels and it takes getting used to because I have not used one before maybe if just used it for my car it’s great it feels so powerful and the pressure is quite good I am so happy to have it I hav always wanted on but I don’t have a water tap or electricity supply near my house, we live in a flat. but it good for me
Does what it’s supposed to do and easy for me (74 years old woman) to set and use. So I’m happy! The battery lasts long enough for me and was reasonably priced
Small and light weight.does wot it says.but the.only issue is the plug gets hot when charging it.dont know if its a health and safety issue.but could do.with looking into..
This product arrived super quick and was quite easy to assemble. Managed to charge it up and get water spray working perfectly but the soap bottle is a disappointment. There are no details of what detergent to use so you need to research this and once you get the right product seems to need to be constantly refilled and I only have a mini. Ended up with quite a few soap marks all over as took time to keep refilling before washing off. So more information required please.
I expected to send it back as I did not expect it to be powerful, I was wrong it’s a superb power washer getting bird poo off my car and patio with ease using only a bucket of water with the Powerhawk filter unit.
It’s light great performance/ pressure can’t praise it enough. Also reasonable price.
All you need is a bucket of water to use this jet washer, so you can use it in the bottom of a field. The only problem that I have found is that the filter device that draws the water up is too light and it floats to the top of the bucket. You just need to tie a weight to it, otherwise it cannot suck the water up. I have used it to clean the wheel arches of my car and to clean the pigeon mess off my garden table. A handy bit of kit.
Well the packaging was rather concerning as although it is in its own strong case ! The
plastic bag it was in was very ripped so the case was scratched! Ok not a problem really !!
I was apprehensive as to how powerful it would be , and yes 9/10 really ! It will clean your flags But not as powerful as the electric power cleaners ! Which is acceptable. I bought this mainly to rinse and clean my car clean wind frames and water my plants from my water butts ( which I have 4 ))) .
The filter YES tends to float so I have learnt to weigh it down so it stays put . Problem solved .
So for the little jobs it’s a must , saved unraveling the darn hose pipe and dragging it round the place ! And wasting tap water ! So I am also prepared to keep filling my bucket With my butt water to rinse my car . Tap water saving again !! Battery life happy with that size ect not heavy easy to
Handle . Value for money I’m
Happy , as didn’t fancy buying a cheap one Nor very top price one ! Hope it lasts !! If it doesn’t I’ll let reviews know
Just finished cleaning a wheeliebin. Pre sprayed with disinfectant then gave it a good blast (water from a large bucket). Put some detergent in the bottle. Worked fine but noticed that water was spraying out from where the nozzle attaches to the gun. I’d used hot water but then added lots of cold. This did the trick. Looking forward to washing the ca
Saw this recommended in a magazine for seniors. As I needed a pressure washer that would work without an outdoor tap thought I would give it a go. It’s easy to put together and use and does work well with a water supply from a bucket. The pressure is very good.Of course it connects to an outside tap if available but perfect for this senior lady to clean a small garden with ease. Also packs away in a nice little carry case
The main reason for buying this tool, was to water the vegetables at my allotment, it works well and is labour saving, however the plastic suction hose kinks easily which restricts the water pressure and can be a little frustrating, but overall I am pleased with it.
Wasn’t sure what to expect from a cordless washer but I used it on the day of delivery, with its part charged battery and I’m impressed. Straightforward to assemble from its plastic case, containing the accessories. I used it with a bucket of water, so it was truly portable. It cleaned birds mess and moss from plastic whicker style garden furniture. The spray nozzle gave various patterns which was ideal for using up leftover water in the bucket to water flower seeds in pots without scattering them all over. Only used the once but I’m well pleased, I’ll see how it goes on a full charge which took around 3 hours. Drawbacks, the blow molded case is ideal for storing washer and battery and ” dried ” accessories but the plastic pipe and small filter cage, I wouldn’t because it’s not possible to dry it completely and I didn’t want charger, battery getting wet. The washer didn’t remove years of sun baked on algea from plastic garden storage box but it wasn’t fully charged, probably a cleaner added it would. All in all I think it’ll be ideal as a portable pressure washer for cars/caravans, bicycles, upvc stuff, garden furniture, paving slabs etc and if the water in the bucket and the supplied hose isn’t suitable, the washer connects to a garden hose, plus there’s a soap dispenser. Will never be as powerful as a corded washer but for general stuff , seems a good buy.
Just tried it out and I find it a ok item for light work , easy to set up easy to use and portable. Unfortunately there are a couple of issues I have come across firstly it is difficult to keep the hose the bucket as when you pull the hose to far as when cleaning the car the hose comes out of the bucket. It’s a shame they didn’t supply a clip which can be attached to the hose and bucket thus keeping the hose firmly in place . Secondly I have a 14 L bucket and the pressure washer uses 3 litre per minute after 4 minutes I had to keep refilling my bucket several times in order to wash the whole of my car this did become an inconvenience. The only other way is to attach an hose pipe which rather defeats the object. I suppose I will have to buy a bigger bucket. A great idea but slightly flawed.
I was rather sceptical about buying one of these battery power washers however I’m quite surprised with this one.
It’s obviously not as powerful has Electric branded Jet washers I have a Karcher for home but bought this for those little jobs like muddy boots and taking to work to give the car a quick wash in my lunch break and save me having to get the whole power washer rig out. It comes with a nice carry (robust) case which is very handy. My first use was to wash the car with Snow foam at work it’s very simple to set up however the tiny soap bottle was emptied before I had half the car covered with foam. There is a nice selection of jets one of which is multiple for rinsing or jetting with clean water which again is very handy. It does have quite a strong jet but again just a little lacking if wanting to jet away those stubborn areas my only disappointment was it really draws away water very quickly and I had to keep stopping to refill my bucket which to be fair was one of those small collapsible canvas ones which I take to work when giving the car a quick wash in my lunch hour. Nevertheless, this is quite a decent bit of kit, I did manage to snow foam and rinse the car with the use of a soft brush for the stubborn areas to an acceptable level without the battery running out, and refilling my small bucket about six times. Probably next time I will just make sure I have a constant water supply or bigger bucket because that is the only adverse thing I can say about this product just remember your not getting anywhere near a branded electric 240 volt 150 psi pressure washe
