This pen drive is very convenient to use as it can be plugged in to either USB-A or USB-C sockets on your computer. Speed for transferring files seems quite fast. Very happy with this product and would recommend it.

The JOIOT 64GB dual interface Flash drive is quite light due to the all plastic construction. I like the fact that the end caps are transparent so you can see which plug is which.
The drive performed well in the CrystalDiskMark speed tests depending upon how the data is transferred, the read speeds were just over 100MB/s regardless of the interface used and the write speeds were between 45 and 53MB/s, with the USB-C interface being the fastest.

I can’t comment on longevity but the price of around 30, at the time of this review, for a 5-pack of dual interface flash drives with good read speeds, isn’t bad.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good price, decent read speeds, write speed isn’t too bad eithe

A good little USB drive for the money. Not the best made, but not the worst either and I am sure it will last well enough. Speeds were ok and the capacity was a shade under 30GB. Good enough to keep to hand as a backup.

The device seems to do the job it’s meant to do. You can easily connect it to both a PC and a phone/tablet using the USB-A and USB-C ports respectively.

When testing the speed of the device, it’s slightly faster than what a USB 2.0 device would be capable of, but not nearly what a USB 3.0 device can do. So it’s likely that the device is indeed USB 3.0, but that cheap flash memory was used inside, meaning it isn’t a very fast USB 3.0.

It’ll do the job, especially if you’re just using it to transfer things like photos, music, and videos from or to a phone and a PC.

This double-ended USB Flash Drive is well manufactured. The fit of both the USB connectors is precise – I have a number of regular USB flash drives made by top brands and found this drive competitive in every way. With the dust caps on it’s dimensions are approximately 64mm (2.52″) x 18mm (0.71″) x 9mm (0.35″). The body material is ABS, the dust caps are HDPE or similar. Note the caps are a tight-ish fit but easy to remove as shown in my video.

Making full use of both connections, I have been using this drive to transfer photo and video files from Android 10 & 12 Smartphones to a Windows 7 PC. Data transfer speed? It’s relative, given that the speed of the connected device makes a difference. From USB drive to my PC file transfer is about 37 MB per second. Never mind the numbers, it is faster than any of my other flash drives for similar tasks and I’m sure other people with better kit than mine would enjoy even faster rates. More important though, the files are always 100% perfect, no complaints from the PC about the drive needing a scan to test integrity.

There are of course a lot of uses for a drive of this type, it is compatible with just about any computer OS, Smartphone OS or bespoke device that has matching USB ports. The caps are a very welcome feature, preventing dust ingress and allowing you to safely carry the drive in your pocket. The type where the connectors slide into the body become too loose and difficult to use after a short while – this simple configuration is much better.

All-in-all, a very good flash drive.

Video: On a PC, left mouse click the maximise symbol, bottom right corner, to view the video full-screen. Tap ESC (Escape) key to leave full-screen mode. On a Smartphone, tap the video and pinch in-out to adjust the video size.
