I wanted something that will protect my new flooring from all of the spills but didn’t take up too much space this fits the bowls perfectly without taking up too much space. It is nice and thick and slip resistant plus is easy to clean as I can easily wash on sink or put it on the machine.
Went from cheaper mats to this after years of replacing the cheaper ones. Why didn’t I buy this sooner!
Can fit 2 large water bowls on, easy to clean and very durable.
I was looking for a silicone tray to sit my new shower pump in as the previous one had started leaking water so I hoped to prevent something similar happening in future. However I came across this and it should do the job perfectly, the silicone is of a suitable thickness to be durable, a good lip to prevent spills and a good choice of sizes. I’m sure it would be great for a pets food and water bowls and hopefully offer peace of mind against future water leaks.
I bought this because we have large dogs which also means large dog bowls. Our rottie is terrible for soaking the floor with her water (I’m sure more ends up on the floor than in her mouth!) and no other mat has protected the floor because the bowl comes off and the water runs off the edge. Although this mat wasn’t cheap, the bowl stays put, and the lip on the mat means the water stays off the floor. Protected floor and no wet socks! Perfect! Worth the extra for the bigger size. Just knocked a star off for the price.
I used to use a small rubber car mat under the dogs bowl, but it just didn’t keep the food & drink from finding its way onto the kitchen floor, so I bought this on impulse to see if it would solve the problem.
Firstly, I was surprised to find it rolled up because I had not read the summary and assumed it was rigid. However, it has turned out to be very effective & easy to clean; the small lip really does a great job of containing the drool from the dog’s mouth. I think it’s great!
My 8 month old Maine coon kitten loves water so his drinking bowl is a constant joy to him.I picked this mat for the raised edges to ensure his playtime doesn’t ruin our wooden floor which this mat does superbly. It’s not cheap and possibly slightly overpriced but for peace of mind it’s money well spent.Recommended if you have a water loving cat.
