This is a great little Lego set to do with the kids. It is really fun to build, and the instructions are simple to follow.
In total it included 3 characters and 5 animals alongside a little tractor. It definitely kept us busy for a little.
This is a great set. It’s fun to build, the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Great set from Lego
Good quality and value.
I ordered the Lego Friends Farm Animal Sanctuary for my Lego obsessed daughter. The set comes in a medium sized box with the lego separated in numbered bags with the usual detailed instructions manual.
This Lego set is designed for kids aged 6+, however my youngest daughter is 5 and was able to enjoy building and playing with this set alongside my help and supervision.
This is a very detailed Lego set with lots of little accessories and comes with 3 x figures as well as little animals for the animal sanctuary.
I found this set to have a lot more to play with compared to some other lego sets, it’s great for younger children. Using their imagination kids can look after the animals, play on the tractor, and much more. This set gives plenty for the imagination and can give hours of fun & playtime.
Overall I found this Lego set more simpler to build than others we have built together however younger children will still need lots of help from their parents in building as there are a few parts that were a little tricky for kids. My daughter loves this Lego set especially since she loves animals. I also love that they designed it as an animal sanctuary to teach kids about caring and looking after animals. Fab set and it’s currently on sale!
I am always on the lookout for activities to do with my toddler as I’m trying to reduce her screen time. It’s always nostalgic for me when playing with Lego, as this was all I used to do as a child too.
The detail on each figure was incredible. My toddler loves all things animals and is very much into role playing so this Lego set was a must! It was fun and educational teaching her how to take care of the small animals (brushing and cleaning up plastic poo)
I did build most of the set myself, but watching her play and getting involved in role play was definitely an activity we both love.
This set is definitely worth the current price 49.99
My 5 year old loved this, admittedly I did most of it but she was so happy and loved building it together, it had all the pieces and a very easy to read instruction book, each part was in labelled bags and came securely in a box.
The world of Lego is vast and varied – from Superhero sets and toys that seem to encourage rather boisterous or even violent play, to sets like this, which as the “Lego Friends” branding suggests, are more about cooperation and social harmony. In this set, three (varied gender, varied ethnicity) friends are running a sanctuary that also, it seems, grows vegetables. What could be more peaceful? Playing with the set has sparked conversations already about why animals end up needing shelter and the differences between wild, farm, and pet animals.
The set itself is very comprehensive with nearly a thousand (mostly quite small) pieces. There are several sessions’ worth of play just in putting the main elements together, before you start to act out scenarios and stories with the little dolls. The sense of scale is not quite accurate in the real world but this leads to interesting conversations about why the carrots are too big or how old the littlest of the dolls is in relation to the taller ones – all useful for developing thinking about how the world works and why it is ok that sometimes simulation or art doesn’t follow the literal reality.
The smaller pieces in this set are great for little fingers and, as you would expect with Lego, everything fits together and works as intended. Wheels on the tractor are a little stiff to start but I think they are easing up with use. Given that this set very much makes a specific thing, you will want to keep these pieces bagged up separately from a general Lego collection.
One criticism of these types of set is that they really only make one thing – you can’t really change the shape of the main building, for example, and the dolls are who they are (though apparently some of the features such as wigs may be interchangeable with other Friends figures). That is certainly true of this set, but I think there is enough richness and variety to say that it does inspire creative and imaginative play. The price is quite high, which I recognise is on par for Lego now but given that this is an ideal gift for a younger child – 6 to 9 years old in my view — it is a lot of money for one toy.
I bought the LEGO Friends Farm Animal Sanctuary for my daughter, and she’s over the moon with it! She loves the new characters, especially the little Ben Minifig. The instructions were easy to follow, and she built it all by herself. The set is packed with fun details, like a poop function for the animals, a jam factory, and even a retail booth. It’s great for imaginative play, and she’s been adding more animals from other sets. Overall, a fantastic addition to the LEGO Friends range!

This Lego Friends set contains all new characters which my 9 year old was very excited about, particularly the teeny Ben Minifig.
My 9 year old was able to follow the clear instructions to complete the build independently, and once finished, there are plenty of details and features which make this more than just a building set, but a play set as well.
There is a cow, a goat and some chickens and chicks to take care of, each housed in their own stable, and the chickens have a coop inside theirs. The cow and goat can ‘poop’ with the Lego Dot poop, and the characters can clean it up with the shovel and broom. The animals can be groomed with the brush, and fed with the bottle, and there is a windmill ‘powered’ jam factory where empty jars opn one side can be pushed through a slot revealing full jars on the other side.
A retail booth allows customers to come and buy farm produce, and a sleeping area above the stables gives the characters a place to sleep.
My kid has had great fun playing with this farm set, and has enjoyed adding to the farm setup with animals and parts from other sets.
A really well thought out, fun addition to the Lego Friends range.
The Lego Friends Farm Animal Sanctuary Playset Tractor Toy is absolutely adored by my daughter. Bright colors and cute farm animals attracted her attention at once. The set supports STEM learning and provides an engaging play experience with the tractor. The instructions were clear, but some of the smaller pieces needed an adult to assist during assembly. There is a remarkable level of detail in the farm animals and accessories. At the end of it all, a great Lego set that is fun both to play and build with. My only issue with this toy is the minor construction issues, but it’s still an excellent gift for girls who love to build and tell stories ages 6+
