I love this little machine, light, portable, easy to use and very efficient. I use it for very small watches and watch components using L&R cleaning fluids and I get superb results.
Excellent, does the job as intended, instructions are very clear. It makes as fair amount of noise which is expected, the size is large enough to fit in most objects you would need to put into the device
Works really good, very good size and can fit most items quite well. Definitely cheaper than many alternatives but have more power than most alternatibes. Looks neat and can easily fit any small space and is not too loud so able to use it anytime of the day to clean different items.
I recently started using the LifeBasis D-2000 Ultrasonic Cleaner, and it’s been fantastic. This cleaner has a 420ml capacity and operates at 45000Hz, making it perfect for cleaning jewelry, glasses, and even coins. The included watch stand is a nice touch. It’s easy to use — just add water, place your items inside, and start the cleaning cycle. My jewelry comes out sparkling clean every time. It’s a great investment for anyone looking to keep their valuables in pristine condition with minimal effort.
Brought this for my wife to clean her Jewellerythat had not been used for a long time and she was pleased with the results, some things needed a second cycle with a drop of washing up liquid. I had a go with it I cleaned my glasses and my razor which came out looking like new. easy to use works straight from the box very pleased.
I bought this machine to clean my great grandma’s ring and it worked very well. It vibrated out pretty much all the dirts from all the cracks and the ring looked very shiny after the cleaning! Each round is 3min, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to clean antique jewelries for too long (to protect the gems etc). The only wish I have for this product is that if the noice of cleaning could be a bit lower, then it would be perfect!
I found this machine removed the residue from previous brass cleaning : green substance in crevices. This was a really good result, but as to a polished finish on my brass and silver jewellery, the result was poor. I still had to use my usual bottled brass and silver cleaning solutions.
Finally, an actual ultrasonic (not just vibrating motor) cleaner.
Really good for glassware and things that might get sticky and are difficult to clean….if you know what I mean.
If you spend an age soaking your pipes etc in isopropyl and using cotton buds to clean only to find residue still in there. Get this and get your time back.
My tip would be to put your equipment in a little zip-lock bag with some iso in it. Place this into the machine and fill water around it (like a bain-marie). That way you can keep your machine free of iso/gunk and then just pour the iso back into a container for the next cleaning session.
At first I thought ultrasonic cleaning was a gimmick however WOW! It’s actually amazing! I have a lot of jewelry which I don’t wear as it’s become tarnished, and looking grotty, so in it went with a fair few pumps of hand soap which I have read in the reviews on Amazon is the thing to do, and not going to lie I am super impressed! Has a slight noise to it but it’s only on its cycle for 3 mins, out came my jewelry looking almost like new, so I decided to put it back on again, with the same jewelry items, which where 3 sliver necklaces, and this time the device nailed it! They came out perfect! Actually like I had just bought them, I put them on a clean towel to dry off, as the chains are delicate.. next up the rings went in, I was a little dubious of putting my diamond in, but figured if I can wash up in it then this will be fine, and after one clean it was like new, even the pavilion to the cutlet (the bit in the setting and the point at the bottom, I googled the correct term) was spotless.. I even tired a pair of glasses and gotta say they have never been so clean.. you don’t know you need this type of cleaner until you get one.. it’s quite small in size, and like I said I used very warm water with about 4 pumps of hand soap in mine.
I hate using silver polish! I have a few items of old jewellery which needs cleaning before going to a charity shop. The Silver jewellery has no been worn for many years, and the locket particularly is hard to clean because the cream gets stuck in the ‘bobbles’ around the edge. The necklace and chain are very tarnished
The 1953 Coronation teaspoon had hardly every been cleaned. It is good fun to put them in the trough and see the bubbles. The glass shows spendidly dirty water after using the trough, The second spoon and the final picture of jewellery are the results. Don’t think you are going to get really sparkling jewellery (although I have not tried gold. The copper coin in the handle of the spoon worked particuarly well. Glasses – not fully convinced as you have to dry them before you wear them and glasses spray is equally good. I had visions of doing the cutllery but only teaspoons will fit the trough. I think the image is misleading in giving an impression of sie. If you want to do larger objects probably one of the other troughs will suit you better. Well designed. WIll go around the house trying things out – a toothbrush? Wasn’t totally sure what ‘washing liquid is. so used 3 drops of washinup liquid. The coronation shoop was greasy so I rubbed that with the other up liquid directly. I might try other possibilities,Perhaps I should have bought the silver polish from an economy viewpoint, but this is much more fun and doesn’t dry out your fingers! End Result, certaibly betterm but not dramatically so. Since added a minimum amount from a anti-bac clenaer which is plant based – the spray comes out as a foam ,Improved results on silver and gold – and even aluminium pastry cutters!
I’ve used professional ultrasound cleaners before and this isn’t anything like that but it does work and does clean! It’s very useful for the home, I mainly use it to clean my Vape tanks and coils but I have also cleaned jewellery, watches, watch straps, spectacles and various tools. I use 5ml of common dish soap detergent and cold water from my filter tap (but normal tap water works just as well), and run a few cycles until my items are completely clean. You can use an old toothbrush to gently brush off any stubborn caked in debris but I haven’t needed to do that so far. This does a wonderful job on my Vape equipment, I rinse all cleaned items under running drinking water and then dry everything thoroughly with paper towels so that they don’t go rusty. You can rub a little machine oil like 3 in 1 oil over your tools just to keep them from rusting. This will protect them over the years even in a toolbox. I wouldn’t bother with the professional cleaning fluids unless you have a professional machine and know exactly what you are doing.
This unit is perfect for home use, easy to use, easy to clean and most of all, it actually works!
