Very good value and good quality. I had to make a larger hole in the side for my 35 odd cat 5 cable bundle to get in where I wanted (it has top and bottom entry but not on the side panels). But really good cabinet overall.
This was the cheapest i found on here so i wasn’t expecting much to be honest. I just wanted something to house a couple of raspberry pis. It was bigger than expected and of a much better quality.
I ended up adding a couple of shelves, power adapter, tp link 24 port 1gb switch, 6 raspberry pis, one mac mini, i asus mini pc, i also have about 8 devices that sit on top of the network switch that would normally go unused. Couple of hard drives, with also space at the bottom for various other devices i put there for storage. It has 2 removable panels on the side for easy access, front door panel can mount either side, which was handy as it came opening on the opposite side to which i needed.
There was also space to add a fan at the top, i spent like a fiver on one and it cooks everything nicely. There’s a cutout at the top you can break away to feed your wires into, i would rather have had this on the back but where i have it positioned it actually works out well and i can push the cabinet right up against the wall.
Oh and to top it off i added a string of ws2812 leds(50) as status indicators inside, with the clear front panel it looks great and really easy to tell at a glance if theres any issues with my devices.
For fifty quid, i’ll be definitely buying more in the future.
The cabinet is ok for the budget. It’s thin metal and bendy but for the price to be expected.
The issue I have is the packaging. It simply doesn’t protect against courier damage.
Mine arrived with a dent in the side / top and had to be hit back into shape with a mallet. Still a big crease in the top but at least the side panel sort of works.
If you can accept you buying uber budget it is acceptable. For something decent pay more is my advice.
I use this as my network hub in my attic (wall mounted) and it serves my purposes perfectly.
Great value. Well built. Easy access via the front door and two side panels.
It currently holds a Patch Panel, Switch, router and NAS.
