This is by far the bets mascara I have ever used. It lengthens your eyelashes beautifully even if, like me, you have short eyelashes, it makes them look long without looking stuck together or spidery. I recently bought the brown colour and I am obsessed!
This is probably the best mascara I’ve ever used. I’ve had all sorts over the years. Honestly, the wand is flexible making it easy to apply and it’s not black. It’s a deep burgundy colour and will definitely be my only go to from now on. BUYBUYBUY
Rated 4 instead of 5 because it’s almost too water resistant. Getting it off with cleanser takes a double/triple cleanse.
I really like this mascara! It curls the lashes nicely without clumping them together.
4 stars as it’s difficult to remove. It takes a good scrub to remove, and there’s still bits in my lashes. I use a textured silicone pad to scrub them with face wash as Albolene struggles to melt it away.
Bought this on recommendation from Sunday Times magazine. I’m really pleased with it. The brush is silicone which is a bit odd, but it works well. There is no clumping, no panda eyes- even when sweaty! Removal takes a little work though.
So now I have bought and used both. Like the black. Does the job. All the hype says the burgundy makes blue or green eyes ‘pop’ – well it doesn’t! It is softer than black and looks nice and natural on lower lashes but may as well just be brown on the upper lashes. Nice if you have both and can be bothered to mess about to use black for top and the burgundy for bottom. But they are pretty hood mascaras, not amazing but fine and fit for purpose.
Really nice smooth applying mascara. Enhances my already long eyelashes which is amazing. No need for any touch ups and can sometimes be difficult to remove but more than happy with the product so no complaints at all. Will definitely buy again.

It is a great mascara, stay all day bulletproof but the burgundy colour not so visible to the eye. You really need to look very hard for any difference in normal light. Could be lighter but the quality is the same so I love it anyway.
