Bought this to use for festivals. It withstood the stoney ground from car park to campsite but we did put new bolts on the wheels before attempting a trip as there were only pins holding the wheels on when it arrived. We reinforced the wheels as didn’t want to risk them coming off.
It’s quite small but sturdy. Overall a good buy.
I got this pull along wagon for not just my business when working locally but also to help me transporting plants from my house to my local community garden space I volunteer looking after.
It’s easy to put together and instructions are simple enough to follow… Only thing I will say to help other purchasers when it comes to use the 5 small pins for the 4 wheels and to hold parts labelled A and D together I advise you to widen the pin slightly (by pulling the ends apart a little) this prevents it from falling out.
Certainly worth the money and is sturdy exactly to size description.
This cart is literally an answer to a prayer. I can no longer carry the usual gardening supplies as they are now too heavy but with this cart it is simply a breeze. It is very manoeuvrable and it looks very smart. It comes with a cover and clear assembly instructions. I have only had it a couple of days and wish I had bought it sooner I got it as a lightening deal so it was exceptional value for money for my usage. It has a weight limit so I doubt it would cope with being filled with builders rubble but then it was not designed for that. For me and my requirements it is simply ideal. I love the flexibility as the sides can be put down. A great buy and one very pleased customer.
The cart is strong, durable and good value for money. The instructions contain a couple of errors, however the cart is still easy to assemble. It is a little unstable on uneven ground because the wheelbase is a little narrow, but knowing this in addition to careful manoeuvring helps. As with many similar carts, the handle is a little short for tall people and I clip my heel once in a while but I will soon work out an easy fix. The cart arrived without the green cover, however Neo’s customer service team was excellent, they responded to my message immediately, apologised and the cover arrived within a couple of days. Thank you Neo for a great cart.
The end panels are around 45mm too small against the diagrams. This means the side panels are tapered in over at the top of the trolley. The latches are just lift (the panel) and drop, they work but not as you would expect. The assembly was easy but the parts are slightly different to the diagram. It was easy to differentiate between the components though. The tyres come not inflated although appear to have some air in them, but this is just the strength of the tyres. recommended pressure is written on the tyre wall 30psi.For the price the item is very robust and well worth the money.
I’ll just say that the support team are great, they promptly sent me replacement parts, I think they know that there are problems with this product.
With all issues resolved and it fully assembled, this is a 5 star product. But with that said:
I bought this for 90 to use at a festival, and it’s cheaper than those crappy plastic fold up trolleys they sell. It’s a very high quality and sturdy, and also very heavy.
The size of the wheels make it perfect for off-road, you can take this thing over a curb and it won’t even notice.
However you’ll almost certainly need some DIY skills to assemble this, not because it’s complicated but because it needs external tools.
The bolts that hold this together will require a hex ratchet spanner and a regular spanner (size 1/2), and a large flat head screwdriver, there’s no way you’ll be able to turn these bolts by hand and no tools come in the box (Not that you’d want to use those awful factory supplied tools that you get to assemble this).
The wheels also potentially won’t fit, only 1 of the 4 wheels fit on mine. You’ll either have to grind down the axles to slide them on using an electric sander, or do what I did which is to cover the insides with Vaseline and whack them with a hammer until they’re on (very loud, and the paintwork ruined on the wheels).
Finally, I used some string to tie the side panels closed. They fold down but the locking mechanism for them is a bit loose.
You may also need to check this fits in your car once assembled, as it’s quite large and awkward due to its weight! Definitely easier if you have a van or 5 door car.
The side panels do fold down so it might fit better then, but if you’ve added something to them to pun them closed like me then that’s going to be a pain to do every time. Maybe a small section of wire would be better for quick release.
Luckily, I bought this a month before my festival so I had time to sort it all out, but if I’d got this the night before I’d have been a bit miffed.
Overall a bit of quality checking on this product would go a long way, if they just checked the wheel sizes this could be solved. It’s probably just cheaper to just ship out replacement parts when necessary.
But anyway, if you’re prepared to put the work in then this won’t be an issue.
My only complaint would be that the handle might be a bit too short if you’re 6 foot or taller (you’ll hit your heels on the back of the trolley when pulling it). But if it was any longer it might not even fit in my car so you can’t have everything.
Don’t forget to buy some bungee cords with this to secure your load to it!
