Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI only use this on my face, and bought this one because I thought the double rollers were a good idea. It works well, and I like the flexible head. I still have to use it twice a week (my hair grows fast!) but it’s reasonably quick to use and the results are good. I can’t comment on the battery life, as I don’t use it for very long, and tend to charge it out of habit every time I use it. Easy to clean – the brush it comes with is tiny and too soft, so I use my old wider brush. I haven’t used any of the other attachments, but they seem to be good quality. It’s a little heavy, and quite big, but it does what I want, so I’m happy

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVirtually painless to me. Love the choice of attachments and the double depilation heads. Easy to use. Battery not ran out of charge on me yet and I do my legs, bikini line and under arms in one go.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is so well made and with lots of good touches that make this a pleasure to use – on the scale of epilators! Loads of different heads, holds a charge well and the wet/dry feature is a real plus. I also like the light and it’s ergonomically designed so it sits easy in your hand. As good as any other brand I’ve tried and worth it in my opinion.

This is an excellent quality epilator by Panasonic, it’s my preferred style being wet and dry, which means it helps the discomfort of epilating when you can use it in a hot bath or shower and it does help as hot water opens up your pores.

This is comfortable to use, it pivots an moves with you which is great as previous epilators I have used I have been quite awkward to use in certain areas. This also has different heads suitable for different areas of the body, be it face or bikini line.

Easy to use and once you get used to the sensation of epilating it’s a good long lasting hair removal method. Recommended.

Unlike a lot of the random imports available currently, this Panasonic epilator and body shaver comes from an established, recognisable brand and comes with a good degree of trustworthiness as a result.

The low-impact cardboard packaging is a great idea and a real improvement on the wasteful plastic of the past, though in this particular instance I feel like it’s unlikely many people are going to use all the various attachment heads. If you want to minimise your environmental impact, you might want to get a cheaper version that doesn’t come with an electric “foot care” head.

Everything about the set works really well and will obviously last a long time. My only gripe is that the shaving head is pretty narrow, and smaller than an equivalent shaving head from another leading electrics brand that we have in the house, so isn’t as useful for body shaving. Other than that, however, it’s all great.

I am new to the world of epilating; having come from a world of shaving and waxing, this was an eye-opener for me. Clearly Panasonic are a well known brand, so I had high hopes for the latest in their range of epilators.

    What I liked:
Multiple heads are included, from the standard head (legs, arms), mini head where more precision is needed (bikini area). There’s an exfoliation brush (which you use a few days before epilating. It vibrates to help reduce the chances of ingrowing hairs, and whips up a massaging foam on your skin). And a “gentle cap” that allows you to pour regular shower gel over the head to make for a smoother foamy epilation experience. There’s also a foot-file for sanding down hard skin on your feet and a trimmer to make long hair a little more managable (just before epilating).
The whole epilator is wet/dry meaning you can use it in the bath or shower. Rinsing off in the bath makes clean up a lot easier
Epilator is light, looks and feels like a quality product
Pivoting head good and works well over areas like knees (though some areas may need a second pass)

    Things to note:
You get about 30mins of power. For a new user, this right on the threshold of how much time is needed for a full body depilation. I’m sure I’ll get faster as I get used to it (and recommend epilating in “body zones” for your first time use if you are more hirsute!). Note it takes about an hour to fully charge up again
Epilation not for everyone. It works by plucking the hairs out from the root, akin to lots of tweezers. The plucking sensation can be unpleasant, but not unbearably so (compared to waxing anyway!) and after a while you get used to it. I definitely recommend doing it in the bath, with the “gentle cap” and shower gel

Overall I’m getting used to the whole epilation experience, and can understand when people say they it gets less intense with time. Whilst this is on the more expensive end for epilators, there are a lot of heads (which will actually get used) and less painful than a wax or tweeze session.

My wife did this review. This is excellent for home use and has become part of my self hygiene routine. Quick and easy to use with a minimum of fuss. this epilator is great for removing unwanted hair quickly and efficiently in the comfort of your own home.
The epilator has extra wide 90 flexible head, which glides along the contours of your body and deals with the more difficult to reach areas with a minimum of effort. Once I got used to the process I can carry out the hair removal very quickly and well within the 30 minute charge time.

There are double discs and 60 tweezers which makes the hair removal quick and efficient. The double disc design captures any leftover hair, with the second disc catching those missed by the first. The 60 tweezers ensure that a large amount of hairs to be caught in a single stroke which obviously reduces the time required to satisfy your needs as well as reducing the effort.
With the epilator being water resistant means that I can sit in the bath doing my routine as well as using the foam epilation by pouring shower gel directly onto the head enhances your overall experience.
The epilator has three speed settings (soft, normal, and power mode) which means you have full control of the process at all times. This also means you can adapt for different areas to ensure comfort and satisfaction. The built-in LED light illuminates hard-to-see areas such as the underarms and is more useful than it sounds.

The package includes a shaver head, bikini/armpit head, foot file, exfoliation brush, gentle cap, pouch, and cleaning brush. Charging and cleaning are very easy and once again with a minimum of fuss. A 50 minute charge allows me to use the epilator for approximately half an hour which easily satisfies my requirements. Cleaning is so simple, just rinse under the tap.

This would make an ideal gift but also a great way to treat yourself.

This is a wet/dry epilator made by Panasonic, a name you can trust with your electronics. It comes with multiple adaptors to allow you to epilate different parts of your body. Including the standard head, a mini head for the bikini line, a head for your hard thick skin on the feet, foot file and exfoliation brush. It is easy to use, works well but as others have said, the battery life isn’t as long as it could be, and you may fine you cant get all your epilating done in one go.

Other than this the product is great. It is well made, durable, looks good and can be used in the shower as well as dry. I would have no hesitation recommending the product, however it does have an extremely high price point, and thats why I have knocked one star today. If you have the money to spend, then you wont be too disappointed with this product!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe packaging is very environmentally friendly because it is predominantly cardboard based.

Charging is via a proprietary connector. The AC plug does have a long cable. It only takes about an hour to charge the device.

Lots of health related and usage warnings are within the user manual.

The epilator is comfortable to hold.

Noise levels in use seem reasonable.

Changing heads for carrying out different tasks is straightforward. A button on the rear to release the attachment and push the required one on.

    The build quality seems decent.

I did find it missed some hairs when tried out on my upper arms and I had to go back over areas. Unsure whether this was because I was going a bit too fast or not creating enough pressure. Shaving seems quicker but it could well be a case of being new to hair removal via an epilator and my technique requires some improvement.

Using such a device is not suited to particular areas where I previously thought would be okay until I read otherwise; such as near elbows and the inside of the upper arm. Making things a bit more limiting in real world use.

Although marketed for women, men may and can use this method of body hair removal if they wish to do so. Be that for aesthetics or due to sports activities.

I really like this Panasonic epilator (and more) – it’s a full body care system in one.

Simply by changing the head, you can turn it into a small epilator, a shaver, a foot file or a sonic scrubber. It only takes 1 hour to charge but it only gives you 30 minutes working time. This was enough time for me to epilate both my lower legs and use the foot file on both feet before the red battery light started to flash.

    *Epilator*
I have tried using epilators in the past and not only are they torture to use but they also leave me with red chicken skin legs so I can’t even have my bare legs on display after all that pain. It is still painful, even when using the ‘gentle’ head, but my legs were definitely not as red and irritated. I did a follow up epilation after I had been in the bath and it definitely wasn’t as painful doing it on warm skin.

I’m an epilator convert now that I’ve used this Panasonic, although it will take me a while to build up the courage to try the small head for my underarms and no way am I going near my bikini line.

    *Shaver*
It’s surprisingly quiet for a shaver and it gave me a nice close shave without irritating my skin. The shaver also comes with a trimmer attachment to tidy the bikini area.

    *Foot file*
The pumice stone is quite small so I wasn’t expecting it to have much effect but I was completely wrong. It’s really good for quick removal of dry skin on your feet and although I will need to continue to use it regularly, I am happy with the immediate results.

    *Sonic scrub brush*
This one is completely new to me but it recommends you use it a few days before epilating to reduce the risk of ingrown hairs. It feels really gentle even on full power and it’s a really pleasant sensation. My skin actually looked polished when I’d finished.

So all in all, I’m pretty impressed with this Panasonic epilator. It does seem expensive, priced at 147.95 (at the time of review), however, you get so much for your money and I think it’s worth it for the different attachments so you don’t need several other devices. If I was buying it, I would be inclined to wait until the price drops a little more as new products often get reduced quite quickly.

I would recommend this epilator but just be aware of the pain. Although, if I can do it, anyone can.

4.0 out of 5 stars The best epilator I have used and the extra attachments are a bonus

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFor those who dislike the hirsute look some form of hair removal is essential, this offers a good alternative to shaving, the device plucks the hairs out rather than just chopping them off, this has three advantages, first it leaves the skin far smoother, secondly it takes longer for the hair to re-appear and finally if it used often enough it discourages the regrowth of the hair, so any hair that does re-grow is far more sparse. It does come with a disadvantage however, it is quite painful, especially when first used, far more so than shaving.

This device comes with different heads for different parts of the body and one for removing hard skin on the feet and another with a brush head. It is useful that it is rechargeable, but the battery life isn’t as good as claimed, which can be limiting if a lot of the body is being treated.

Although it is a very high quality device and works very well, I still think that it is very expensive at the asking price of 199.99, at the time of writing.

Epilators are a form of hair removal that are really not for everyone as it is rather painful at first. Over time the pain becomes less. Something I like about using epilators is that it leaves the skin feeling really smooth and also it takes a bit longer for the hair to grow back.

This one is a good option from a trusted brand. However something to keep in mind is that I found the battery life only lasted me around half an hour which for a person with PCOS is not enough time to effectively remove all the hair desired. For almost 200 you’d expect a better run time.

I like that it can be used wet or dry. I personally have only used it dry so cannot attest for how effective it is on wet hair.

If you’re looking for an epilator from trusted brand and don’t need much time for hair removal then I would recommend.

Having not used an epilator before, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this.

The device itself and all of the attachments are impressive. Everything appears high quality and fitting of the Panasonic brand name. I tested this on my legs and whilst it absolutely does work, I found it took longer than I had hoped when compared to shaving with a razor. The results were fantastic though, so when I have the time I will opt for this over shaving as my skin seemed happier when using this.

It can be used wet or dry, which is great, plus it’s easy to clean. It comes with a hefty price tag (199 at time of writing) but if you are used to epilators or cannot shave due to sensitive skin then this might be worth it for the long-haul.

Wow wow wow what a superb product this is!!!

I have used this today for the first time and it has made a wonderful job of epilating my legs. I have used epilators for a few years now and looked forward to seeing how this can be worth the price. It gives a really thorough finish, it actually pulls out hairs that are so short and also the longer ones too. It makes a very thorough job meaning I won’t be having to repeat the job as often. My legs feel lovely and smooth and are hair free! The epilating process is uncomfortable but you do get used to it. I used the gentler head for the legs and it was not too painful at all. There are 3 speed settings depending what you would find most comfortable. It also comes with multiple heads for different uses, for example; foot file and bikini trimmer.

This is a great quality product.
