How and where to use
How to use
- Use in energy ball feeders, on bird tables and ground feeders away from pets or pests
- Best used with with our Peckish All Weather Energy Ball Feeder or our Secret Garden Energy Ball Feeder
- Site your feeder 2 metres from cover to make the feeder visible, whilst providing a safe place to retreat
- Put out food at the start of the day to ensure that birds can replace the energy they have lost overnight

Feeding
With food resources scarcer now, it is essential to feed garden birds all year round. Once you have started to feed the birds it is important to continue this, and develop a routine, as the birds will become reliant upon your help.
Hygiene
- Always ensure garden birds have plenty of fresh, clean water for drinking and bathing
- Clean feeding and drinking areas regularly with a mild disinfectant
- Keep food fresh and dry, removing any wet food to prevent the spread of bacteria and diseases

We’re fortunate to have a wide variety of garden birds locally and these fat balls seem universally loved by all, from blue tits to woodpeckers. They arrived in good condition, are easily stored and fir perfectly in the feeder.
I bought these as an alternative to the RSPB suet balls.
It took the birds a couple of days to get used to them, but now they attack them with vigour and the starlings etc canm get through 4 balls in a feeder in less than a day!
The birds love these fat balls and at this time of year, I buy them quite regularly. I purchase them in the box and on arrival put them into a tub and recycle the box.
