I’ve tested the mic many times using Voice Memos and it does a great job only picking up my voice and not other nearby chatter. Everyone always says my calls are so crisp and clear.
Only downside is that they aren’t super comfortable if you just want to listen to music or listen to things. I’ve got some ear piercings and they put a bit of pressure on them sometimes – so I can’t wear the headphones all day. But for a few hours while I make some calls it’s good
The stock AKG headphones which come with the Samsung are OK, but got plenty of complaints of the background noise, despite claiming noise cancellation functionality.
I tried other headsets, but none of them worked with my phone at all – not sure why.
This headset works a dream. Excellent voice clarity, noise cancellation and speaker volume. Not the best for audio listening to MP3’s with heavy bass but I wasn’t expecting anything great in this aspect.

Mic quality: 9/10
Comfort: 5/10 >> Cushion is very less compare to this price point.
It starts biting your ears after wearing for a long time.
Not recommended for heavy usage.
