Where can I place my gate?
The gate can be used at the top or bottom of the stairs and in door frames. Ensure that the wall, door frame or support to which you fix the barrier is solid, stable, smooth and is non-greasy. The safety barrier must not be fitted across windows.
Can I use the gate on any stairwell? For e.g. spiral staircase, staircase with handrail

Spedizione Amazon sempre veloce e puntuale, nulla da dire!
Il cancelletto di Safety 1st sicuramente molto pratico e comodo, di ottima fattura in legno e metallo.
L’installazione semplice e veloce, le istruzioni sono rappresentate solo da figure, ma tanto basta perch sono chiarissime e senza fraintendimenti.
Il cancelletto pu essere installato in aperture da 73-80 cm, per questo motivo ho acquistato anche una estensione che mi ha permesso di arrivare a coprire una misura fino a 87 cm.
L’estensione semplicissima da installare, si attacca direttamente al cancelletto e con i fermi si fissa il tutto direttamente contro il muro, nessun foro necessario!!
Dopo averlo provato a lungo ho potuto constatare che perfettamente stabile e solido.
Sicuramente un ottimo acquisto per chi ha scale in casa!
Absolutely fantastic product. It feels high quality, sturdy and is a perfect solution for those who want to extend their baby gate so that they can use it in wider areas (for example we use ours so that we can block off a corridor rather than a doorway)
My only complaint is that I admittedly believe this should be a standard part which gets included with the gate itself. I do however understand that you very much get what you pay for. I would purchase again but I think I’d rather it was all included as a single set and just cost a little more for the initial outlay.
I have had this product for a few weeks now and I will update my review after a few months so that we can see how it stands up to the test of time.
Da quando mio figlio ha iniziato ha dare i primi passi, non abbiamo avuto un momento di tregua e la paura pi grande era che potesse scendere dalle scale da solo e farsi male.
Dopo un’accurata ricerca abbiamo optato per questo cancelletto delle Safety 1st che, leggendo le caratteristiche ci sembrato il pi adatto alle nostre esigenze.
Il prodotto arrivato subito e ben confezionato, all’interno le istruzioni in italiano hanno facilitato il montaggio, molto facile e veloce.
Le misure del cancelletto sono di un minimo di 73 cm, per un massimo di 80 cm, ma grazie alla possibilit di acquistare una doppia estensione, pu arrivare a coprire una superficie di 94 cm.
Infatti noi abbiamo acquistato anche l’estensione di 7 cm, avendo cos il risultato desiderato.
Il design molto bello e la cura dei particolari rendono questo prodotto differente dagli altri, inoltre i materiali sono di ottima qualit e soprattutto resistenti.
Posso dire che per mia esperienza questo prodotto vale il prezzo che l’ho pagato.

Tengo mellizos de 3 aos y no hay hueco de la casa por el que no se metan. Mi casa est llena de vallas y he probado muchas marcas diferentes. El problema que encuentro en general es, por un lado tener que taladrar las paredes, y por otro el hecho de que son MUY FEAS. Con esta valla esos problemas desaparecen. Esta versin de valla de Safety 1st es una de mis favoritas porque, aunque tengo algunas blancas en las escaleras, no quera poner una de esas en la puerta del balcn, quedara horrible. Por otro lado, aunque la valla se puede abrir con una mano por un adulto, hace falta ‘maa’, por lo que ni siquiera un nio avispado la puede abrir. Entiendo que hay gente que utiliza estas vallas para sus mascotas. Aunque veo como sera til para un perro, para un gato es un saltito de nada y no funcionara.
Todas mis vallas son safety 1st y son muy buenas pero sin una de estas extensiones valen ms bien poco ya que las hacen muy estrechas para mi gusto. Esta extensin ajusta muy bien, es robusta y fcil de montar. El diseo ayuda, ya que las vallas siempre me han parecido muy feas, como que llaman mucho la atencin en las casas, y con este diseo se mezclan ms con la decoracin que cada persona tenga. Desde mi punto de vista, vale la pena gastarse un poco ms de dinero y que quede un poco mejor, ya que no es algo que se tenga montado solo un par de das.
Vaya inventazo esta valla de seguridad! Lo de tener un peque en casa es un no parar, y cuando empiezan a gatear, necesitas ojos hasta en la nuca. As que me decid por esta barrera para las puertas y la escalera y es que es una maravilla. Tambin vale si tienes alguna mascota pequea o mediana en casa.
Lo primero que flip es que no hace falta hacer agujeros y tampoco taladrar tornillos. La instalas entre dos paredes y ya est, ms fcil imposible. Y lo mejor es que se abre con una mano. Que, si tienes al peque en brazos y quieres pasar, un empujoncito y listo. Eso s, para ellos no es tan fcil.
El tamao es ajustable, pero si tienes un hueco ms grande, no te preocupes, que se puede usar una extensin que tambin tienen que tambin la he comprado. Y lo del doble bloqueo es un puntazo, porque los peques son unos artistas abriendo cosas, pero aqu ni de broma.
La combinacin de madera y metal le da un toque ms bonito. En fin, que estoy ms que contenta con la compra. Es un alivio saber que el peque est seguro y yo puedo estar un poco ms tranquila.
Y en cuanto a la extensin como comentaba antes, est genial para aquellos sitios que son ms anchos, por ejemplo un pasillo o las paredes al lado de la escalera.
Yo la instale en el pasillo y como la valla, sin taladro, sin complicaciones,… La caja viene con todo lo necesario y en menos de lo que canta un gallo, estaba puesta.
Es ms, lo hice mientras el peque haca la siesta, y ni se enter. Eso s, una vez puesta, ni se mueve. Parece que siempre ha estado ah, como si fuera parte de la casa. Y lo mejor es que no desentona con la valla principal.
En resumen, ambos productos son fciles de instalar y cumplen su funcin con creces.

Il cancelletto molto valido ed elegante rispetto ai soliti cancelletti bianchi a prova di bambino, mio figlio non riesce ad aprirlo grazie alla doppia chiusura!! Sicuramente un altro pro il fatto che non bisogna forare il muro, questo facilita anche il montaggio! Ottima soluzione per la mia scala a chiocciola! Super approvato!

I love this gate and the extenders they are very stylish and modern not like the white ones that get very dirty very quickly. I had to get 2 extenders for it to fit at the top of my stairs due to it being very wide I love how they just slot in the ends and no messing about with screws etc it’s very quick and simple to connect them. It was so easy to install and love the fact that you had the option to either srew or stick the protectors on as it comes with both screws and double sided sticky pads. The best feature is that you can just pull or push it closed and it locks itself so you don’t have to lift it up or press and pull the latch to lock it you just push it or pull it and it closes. My daughter loves that feature and always closes it after anyone has gone through it she is only 21 months so that’s how easy it is to close. To open the gate you have to press the button and lift the gate up so it’s not easy for the kids to open. It’s great value for money and love that you can buy the extenders to fit and it matches the metal part of the gate (black)
Necesitaba esto para m escalera porque compr la puerta pero es corta y con esta extensin queda perfecta.
Es tan fcil de montar que no hemos necesitado ni mirar las instrucciones y queda muy segura.
Fijate bien si la puerta vale para tu escalera porque parece que si pero luego es ms corta para que quede ms ajustada necesitas esto que es el complemento que para m gusto se ve ms seguro.

Ho atteso prima di fare una recensione che possa essere d’aiuto ad altri genitori, che come me sono alla prese con bambini piccoli che girano per tutta casa senza aver paura del rischio.
Questo cancelletto del marchio Safety 1st una vera e propria svolta, i materiali con i quali realizzato sono davvero di qualit e molto robusti, a differenza di altri noti marchi.
All’interno della scatola possibile trovare le istruzioni in italiano, che spiegano passo dopo passo come montalto, con molta facilit e in pochissimo tempo.
Un prodotto davvero ottimo e ad un prezzo accessibile a tutti, inoltre il design rendono questo cancelletto unico nel suo genere.
Posso sicuramente consigliarlo e probabilmente presto approfitto per acquistarne un altro per la casa al mare.

Lo primero que prob fue la manera en la que cerraba, y pude ver que, adems de la facilidad con la que se abre, cuenta con un indicador que permite ver si la puerta est correctamente cerrada (se ve rojo cuando no est cerrada).
Decir que la puerta puede adaptarse a huecos de entre 73 y 80 cm, pero si tenemos un espacio mayor, podemos aadir extensores (uno a cada lado).
Se ajusta mediante 4 puntos a la pared sin necesidad de hacer ningn agujero. Esto facilita que lo puedas montar y desmontar sin miedo a dejar faltas o destrozos en la pared.
La verdad es que me ha sorprendido gratamente. Por un lado, la esttica que me ha parecido que el diseo est muy logrado combinando el metal y la madera. Por otro, su facilidad de instalacin, que no requiere de herramientas adicionales y por ltimo su robustez.
Es una barrera que cumple la funcin indicada, segura para que el beb no suba las escaleras y no haya peligro,fcil de instalar y sin agujerear. Es de metal, tiene resfuerzos laterales y junto con la madera impiden el paso. Con un click se abre y adems cuenta con extensores a parte si los compras para una distancia mayor si es necesario, entre la pared.

The barrier is made of wood and metal, so it’s very easy to clean, but it’s also design-oriented. I’m afraid the paint will crumble over time, but I prefer this solution. The extension allows the gate to be used especially on widened stairs. I recommend this product because the price is great, the design is good, and it seems to be of good quality.
