Much better screen viewing in day light than my Redmi 9 phone which I had for few years. Much more responsive as well. I do no play games so it does me fine for general browsing and the pictures are superb as well even in low light. Overall very happy with it.

This was purchased for my wife as a birthday present. It works very well the only missing function was wireless charging. But this was fixed for 11.99 with a qi adapter also purchased from Amazon
The phone is excellent and very easy to set up and update to Android 14. With this also received more samsung watch functions

    A great purchase

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI wanted to use Google Wallet, but my Galaxy S7 Edge was too old, therefore I got this as an upgrade.

It’s a nice phone, was easy to set up, and has more then enough features for my usage, nice space for music, great camera, and responsive screen.

It takes great pictures, and moving everything over from my old phone was super easy following the guide.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis phone restores my faith in Samsung A series. I used all the transfer mechanisms to transfer material from my old Samsung so I could compare like for like. The new phone is far more responsive, the keyboard does no veer into special characters, it does not hang for and it actually feels nicer. As a phone, calls do not drop, WhatsApp works as it should and for the price I paid, I am satisfied thus far.
The phone was advertised as having an extended three-year warranty. Registering the phone with Samsung showed a two-year warranty. Amazon gave me a phone number to call and after speaking directly to Samsung it transpires the third year warranty is provided b y Amazon not them.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWent for a mid price phone instead of being stuck with an expensive contract.
The phone is really fast and great for games and videos.
On offer at 289.00 at the moment with 4 years of updates and a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty it’s well worth the money for anyone wanting a quality reliable phone.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersJust bought a Samsung Galaxy A55 128gb in Ice Blue, as my aging Sony XZ1’s battery was rapidly running down after 5 years of use. Compared to the Sony this has a far larger viewing screen, is much quicker in operation, and takes better pictures. I am still trying to figure out a lot of the new functions etc it has on it, and the Sony was simplicity personified in comparison. It does indeed come with an extended 3 year warranty that Amazon advertises, but you have to set up a Samsung user account (its easy to do) and register the device first. Ignore the Samsung illustration on how to find the Serial and IME number for the phone, as 1) it is so small it is nigh on impossible to read it, even with a magnifying glass, I know as I tried and 2) the numbers shown bear no resemblance to what they actually are. Just go into the settings on the phone and scroll down to About this phone, click on it and the number you require is there. Once you have registered the device in your Samsung account you have set up, go to registered devices and a picture of your mobile should be showing together with the date your phones warranty ends. This phone is also like a brick, when again compared with the Sony, but if you want better cameras, bigger clearer screens, faster CPU’s more memory and storage etc then its the price you have to pay. My eyesight isn’t what it was, and having a much larger viewing screen is a boon for me. When first started up, the Samsung automatically starts asking you if you want to port your stuff from your old phone across, and if so to connect your old mobile phone if you have one, after a few screen presses to select what you want ported across, it then ports across your selections from your old phone. You have the option to just use the cable provided to connect the 2 phones together, or keep the phones side by side (as I opted to do) and do it via wifi. Hope this helps anyone interested in the A55. I thought I had got a bargain when a week or so after this phone came out it had dropped in price by 75, so I am a bit miffed to see that is has dropped by yet another 75, at this price its an absolute bargain!
