    Having installed a new smart phone, was rather confused as how to connect form scart to HDMI. Interweb not much help…. surprisingly it was much easier than expected. Plug and play worked brilliantly; there was just one switch to check, 720 or 1080 and worked without any problems. Spare USB port on TV supplies power so no need for extra plug. Am impressed; whether cheaper elsewhere don’t know but happy with purchase. Arrived ahead of scheduled time.

    Only used it once so far, was great and easy to set up, can now use my wii again as it was on old scart and new tv was hmi

    There is nothing wrong with this device but note that it digitizes the composite signal not the RBG ones. Hence the picture quality is as one would expect from the composite signal.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy elderly friend has an old Humax box but wanted a new tv – so no scart connector. Bought this converter and the problem was easily solved. Plugged in scart and HDMI at respective ends of the converter, plugged the other end of the HDMI into the tv, plugged the USB power supply into the tv and Voila! All works perfectly & my friend doesn’t have to learn anything new to be able to view and record what she wants using her lovely new tv.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe bought a new Sony Bravia UHD TV, but wanted to continue using our old S-VHS JVC recorder to playback some old tapes. This converter took about a minute to set up and the sound and pictures are better quality than they were through the old AV plug with the switch set to 1080P. I would recommend using this method of playing back tapes than using composite/RCA cables.

    Quality of the product was excellent – nice tight fit for SCART and HDMI leads. Simple to install and for this I’d recommend them.
    Unfortunately it requires a power supply and this is NOT included. So as yet I have been unable to test them in action.
