With 40 suction cups on each side, these attach very firmly but only to totally smooth surfaces. The suction does not work on textured surfaces.
At 10 x 6.5cm, the pad is quite large only just fitting on the back of my phone (a smaller 6.1″ iPhone) avoiding the camera bump.
At 5.99 it is quite expensive but, if you have an appropriate use, it works well.
These are interesting suction pads, i guess advertised for mobile phones, but could quite easily be used to hold many devices still while using them, desk calculator, kids dinner plate ??
Measuring in at 100mm x 65mm and with 40 mini suction cups on the front and 40 more on the back, these very flexible silicone-type pads really do hold your mobile well. However, both sides of the pad absolutely rely on a flat clean surface, a surface with slight grain pattern or rippled and the pad won’t stick.
I held my daughters phone on a wall tile,it held really well, but not sure how long i’d leave it unattended, lol
The 2 covers she has for her OPPO were fine, but if they has a textured finish the best you can achieve is a gripping surface (to stop it sliding) but wouldn’t be able to hold in a vertical plain
Good idea, but might be limited in use
Price is a little costly too, perhaps when they really catch on there’ll be cheaper copies
Yes, I, too, remember these as a child being used for soap bars!
I didn’t necessarily have high expectations of this pad because my phone is a larger, and heavier, max phone. (I cleaned my silicone phone case and bathroom tile first with rubbing alcohol.)
Pleasantly surprised though that my phone stayed stuck to my tiled bathroom wall for a full 20 minutes before it started to slip down the wall (I had put a towel under it in case the phone dropped heavily down to the floor, but it just started to slowly slip down – so was able to remove it before it dropped down)
Obviously a lighter and smaller phone would stay put for longer – now I know that these pads can work I will look for a bigger sized pad to accommodate my larger phone.
I think these pads are handy, useful. I wanted somewhere I could place my phone while in the bathroom, and I think these pads – in the right size for the phone – will fit the bill perfectly, for me anyway.
Given the cost of phones though I feel it is always essential to test out these types of pads first just to ensure your phone works well with it, and it doesn’t come crashing down to the floor from a great height
I would absolutely order again and can happily recommend
This review is for the Seltureone 40 Grain Double Sided Silicone Suction Cup, Phone Suction Pad with Strong Adhesion, Non-Slip Phone Holder for Selfies and Videos, Multifunctional Suction Phone Holder – Light Pink.
This reminds me of the old-fashioned soap grips we had in the 70’s. The kids are all over these for their phones at the moment, if only they knew! It works well on the very smoothest of surfaces but if there is any texture on either surface, It won’t stick. For a sucky bit of silicone, it is a little pricey at 5.99 in my opinion, but I’m not really the target market.
I got this for my daughter to use on her iPhone – I have seen these advertised everywhere but never really saw the appeal but all 3 of my kids want them – I think they are one of the latest trends.
It’s a white silicone sticky pad that sticks to your phone, then you can supposedly stick it on any surface and keep your hands free.
It’s not a permanent sticky to your phone, it’s more of a suction so it can be removed as often as you want without leaving any marks or residues on your phone.
She has tried it on every surface of the house so far – sticks well on painted walls, mirrors, doors, windows and desks but doesn’t stick on wallpapered walls or wooden surfaces.
This suction cup pad is great for keeping your phone steady. No need for sticky adhesives leaving residue, as the suction cups are on both sides of the pad and so can easily be removed from your phone when no longer needed. Of course, this means that it can be resused many times. Excellent value for money.
As someone who frequently drops their phone I’m in need of this. I’m lucky that I do have a completely clear case as it won’t “stick” to my patterned one. It has a very strong hold once on and really helps you grip onto your phone. What’s great is that you can take it off whenever you like and it isn’t something that will loose its adhesive. Also cool if you want to prop it up on a tile or something the possibilities are vast.
5.99 is the perfect price for this and I’d highly recommend.
This is such a basic but handy little device to use on your phone. Both sides of the silicone type material have loads of little suckers on them. One side of the suckers sticks nicely onto the back of your phone and then you can press the other side against a window or mirror to hold your phone up!
The suckers are really strong and hold the phone up well!
