This works fine with bicycles balls and an emergency top up of a deflating tire. However, the battery life is limited given the small size of this item.
It can’t pump multiple tires up without needing a serious recharge in between. This is kind of normal and I expected it. I did read some reviews that commented about the valve screw not fitting correctly, mine was fine, but it might be something you want to check before you throw out the packaging.
This works fine for smaller to medium size jobs, you can’t expect it to function for mortal tyres with our allocating time to recharge the battery, which will improve its ability to reflect tires. you can’t have such a small device and expect Miracles. But it works absolutely fine for what it is.
Good quality, loud, but most of these are. Has been used on car tyres, scooter tyres, footballs. Did all of them with ease. Highly recommended, bought one for other family members too.
This is small, easy to use and portable, ideal for on-the-road emergencies. As a non-professional and a person with absolutely no experience with car items, this was very easy to use and came with clear instructions. It even has a light included in case it’s dark outside.
I just preset the desired pressure and it automatically shuts off when it’s reached. The LCD display is easy to read, and I love that it has multiple units of measurement. The rechargeable battery is super convenient, and the included adapters mean I can use it to inflate tires, balls, and more. It even has a built-in LED light! It also comes with a regular car lightning charger incase it runs out of battery, on a single full battery I was able to fill up 8 tyres and still have some left. Do make sure it does not overheat too much (as it needs rest for a minute or two ideally after each tyre).
Real-time monitoring: The LED digital display provides real-time pressure values and allows you to preset your desired pressure. This feature is incredibly handy, especially when inflating various items with different pressure requirements.
Multi-functional design: Not only does this air compressor inflate tires efficiently, but it also doubles as a power bank! I love the versatility it offers — whether I need to top up my tire pressure or charge my phone on the go, this device has me covered.
Wide compatibility: With four extra valve adapters included, this compressor fits most small and medium-sized cars, bikes, airbeds, balls, and more. It’s incredibly convenient to have a single tool that can handle all my inflation needs, no matter where I am.
Preset and automatic shutdown: The ability to preset tire pressure and have the compressor automatically shut off when the desired pressure is reached is great. It takes the guesswork out of inflating tires and ensures they are inflated to the correct pressure every time, preventing over-inflation.
Complete set and portability: The package includes everything you need for effortless inflation — from the air compressor and various adapters to the USB charging cable and storage bag. Plus, its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to carry in your car or backpack, ensuring you’re always prepared for unexpected tire emergencies or inflation tasks.
Therefore, the portable air compressor is a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable, versatile, and convenient inflation solution. Whether you’re a frequent traveler, outdoor enthusiast, or simply want peace of mind on the road, this compressor has you covered. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable inflator for both personal and automotive use.
Always handy to have a pump in the car! speciality when you now have to pay 50P at some of the petrol station ones!
I love that this also comes with a 12V adaptor, allowing you to use it if the pumps battery is dead!
Very easy to use and cuts off once it gets to the correct pressure, comparing it to a stand alone digital pressure gauge it is spot on. does take a while to pump up from a low PSI, but it is about the same time as my small 12V plug in compressor.
My only gripe is that it is a screw on valve rather than a quick release one, however, the screw on ones don’t leak like some of the quick release ones. it is also a bit of a faff twisting the entire unit and hose when screwing onto the tyre. You can buy a separate quick release hose if you really want one.
Comes with plenty of inflation attachments and a glass breaker tip that you can screw into the inflation port, while not in use. seems like a very weird additio
I am very glad that this is a cordless tire pump, because we are in the future now and we do not need to turn on the car, power it up, plugging along cable, keep a door open, and then hook it all together with the tire. Something cordless like this that I can keep charged indoors, and take outside, and connect straight to the tire without even messing with the car is so much more convenient.
This unit takes it a step further, by providing for saved settings for different vehicles or purposes, and on mine it started on the cycle mode, and you could click the button and it would go to the car, or the ball, and this way you could have some pre-saved settings. When you keep hold of the same button, it changes the units. You can use the plus and minus to adjust the pressure required. The power button makes it took the pressure on.
I am very very pleased that they provided a cloth bag, and the bag is actually big enough to put the unit and all the accessories in altogether. They haven’t cheaped out, they haven’t folded it in half and expected you to be able to squeeze everything in perfectly, they’ve done a decent job here. The provided accessories are just in a plastic bag, and they cover all the parts that I’m ever going to need, and there is also this unusual hammer, which I don’t really know.
A few things to improve, which is why I can’t give it 5 stars, but it still holds a 4-star rating because this price is insane, at 16.99, this is perhaps the best on the market right now.
Firstly, they need to provide an option to not have to twist it onto the tire valve, but one of those clicky ones. But this is very slow, and removing it very quickly is not easy, because you lose some air pressure.
Secondly, the body is plastic, and for an item that looks so premium, does the job well, and isn’t too badly priced, I think they could possibly charge a tiny fraction more, but make the whole body aluminium. Not only will this hold up longer in future, but also will be more resistant to drops.
And finally I think the charging port should be covered with a dust cap, because this is clearly going to live in a dusty environment, like in the boot of a car, or in a garage.
I’ve wanted a USB rechargeable tyre inflator for a while so was pleased to find this one from Servomaster.
It comes with a USB-C charging cable, various adaptors and main braded nozzle hose, along with an adaptor cable to plug into your car’s 12V supply if needed.
The display is clear and after a quick scan of the instructions I was off, inflating tyres like no tomorrow. Once connected it will tell you your tyre pressure, you set the pressure that you want the tyre to be, press the power button and off you go. It stops automatically when the correct pressure is reached.
It’s not a bad size, easy to hold and whilst it got warm after inflating four tyres it didn’t get hot. My main concern would be that the nozzle screws on to the tyre valve rather than using a push down lever connection — this means I’m always worrying that I’m taking too long to screw/unscrew the connector.
After inflating four tyres — back tyres were low, front pair were just off where they needed to be, it used just under half of the battery from a full charge. For a saloon or hatchback, you should be fine.
For larger tyres, or for those emergency situations where you’ve got a tyre with an obvious puncture and need to get it filled up fast to give you a few minutes to get to a safer spot or to a garage then you’d probably need to result to using the 12V adaptor — or consider a more powerful tyre inflator.
You can use it as a flashlight and you can also use it as a power bank for your mobile phone if you run out of juice. All in all, it isn’t bad at all and doesn’t take up much room — easy and convenient to keep in the car.
If you have a car, then one of the most crucial things is making sure your tyres are all at the correct pressure. Over time tyres lose pressure at different rates, so you can end up with an imbalance which can contribute to accidents and poor handling.
Usually this means remembering to go to the garage to find a working air line, or having to plug in your tyre pump to the cig lighter and trail it around the car, both of which are not ideal! Hence when I saw this I was keen to try it out.
First impressions are good, the tyre inflator is a single unit, and being rechargeable has no wires. You simply screw the air hose on and you’re ready to go. In the pack you also get various adapters for things like footballs and bike tyres too, along with a window breaking tip you can attach.
Setting up the unit is easy enough, it has a modes button to select different tyre types, although to be fair I just selected the manual setting and put my car PSI setting in using the +/- key. Once you attach it to the car it gives you the current pressure, which in my case was pretty low on some given I hadn’t checked for 6 months!
To inflate you simply tap the power button again and it then gets to work. Its fairly noisy, so best to avoid early in the morning or evening, but it does the job. Once it gets to the target it stops automatically, which means you don’t have to sit and watch it like a hawk, unlike most tyre inflators.
Putting around 10PSI in takes 2-3 mins roughly, so it took me about 10 mins to check and inflate 4 tyres. The battery started on 3 bars and by the end was on two, so seemed to have plenty of life in it.
Charging wise you connect into a USB C connector, and you can also plug it into the cig lighter port too, but this only seems to power the unit, not charge it, which seems a bit odd, but you can still plug it into a USB port or USB adapter if you already have one in the car.
Overall for 17 this is a great product! No longer being constrained to passing cables through the doors and scrabbling around, and it makes checking your pressure so easy you’ll do it a lot more regularly than before, so it will make your car safer as well! Makes a great gift or simply buy for yourself. Highly recommended
Whether to top up your tyres, blow up inflatables or inflate balloons, this is a handy little gadget to have.
It’s light weight, easy to use and comes with a carry pouch to keep everything together. Can be used cordless or corded with the 12v cable supplied as well as the USB C charging cable. Not the fastest or most powerful out there but it’s compact size and ease of use make up for the lack of power. The accuracy of my one is off by 1 or 2 PSI (showed 32 PSI but measured 30) when checked against my large compressor so bear that in mind if using for tyres
This pump is very well made, it looks good and works pretty well too.
I pumped up my 16″ tyres, they inflated at a rate of about 4 PSI per minute, not bad but definitely not the best. The pump is plenty good enough for topping up but for flat tyres you’re in for a bit of a wait.
The pump is easy to use, set the pressure and press start. The pump automatically stops when it reaches the desired pressure. I tested with a pressure gauge and the pressure is pretty accurate.
The LED screen is very nice, easy to see and looks good.
It’s good, if only it were a little bit quicker.
You get a lot of kit in this Servomaster pump package and at less than 20, it represents excellent value for money. But it is EVEN better than that…read on.
The pump itself is very solidly made and is obviously built for its intended use. No complaints at all with the build quality and that includes the air line hose.
It also comes with the 12v car adapter, a USBC charging cable (yes it can also be battery operated) and a bag of different adapters for screwing on the end of the air line for other applications such as balls, bikes, scooters and car. But I am sure the adapters have many other versatile uses.
It also has a built in torch with SOS mode like a lot of pumps have these days.
Unusually it also comes with a screw in pointed heavy metal emergency windscreen smashing attachment.
With the weight of the pump and the solidity of the attachment there should be no problems in using it in this situation.
On testing on my car, where the tyres were already set at 42 PSI, I simply set the desired pressure to one PSI above that and I was totally gobsmacked that this wee pump on battery mode no less, managed to add that extra one PSI and cut out when it reached it.
Then I tried it on the motor home without too much expectations, which needs 50 PSI and again this pump managed to do that as well.
This is TOTALLY amazing considering a I have a regular RING pump that on 12V connection to the vehicle even refused to switch on at that PSI as I assume it has a sensor as a limiter.
I also have a Milwaukee M18 BI pump that costs 250 if you factor in the charger and battery which is an absolutely brilliant piece of kit, but this wee pump managed to do the same job that that does although needs a bit more time and it did get a bit warm.
And ALL from a 2500mAH battery pump that is re chargeable from a USBC cable.
I AM OFFICIALLY GOBSMACKED!
This Servo Master pump is THE most impressive tool I have received on the VINE program and I cannot believe for so little money it has the performance that it does.
Here is hoping that it lasts.
It comes with a lot of accessories, a car charging cable, carry bag, a nice length hose and even a window breaking hammer attachment which seems completely unnecessary and impractical but is there nonetheless. Also, I can set to half PSI which is good for finer control. My other pump only sets to units of 1.
Now regarding the actual pumping, I have had differing experiences on inflating balls and tyres. For inflating balls, it has worked absolutely fine although you do need to be careful with setting pressure otherwise you can burst the ball. I prefer to use the on/off button to manually pump up until it feels right by hand. This way, I do not rely on the pressure readout being correct, which may be slightly off at lower pressures – this goes with all pumps.
For inflating tyres though, the hose does not screw into my tyre valve very well. If you do not seat and screw it in quickly you can end up deflating your tyres. Once you get the knack it is fine but the hose should be more forgiving in terms of fit.
For balls and bicycles it has been fine too but the Inflator is slightly noisy and slow compared to more expensive variants.
Really good quality, simple to charge and operate. In use it work well on my saloon with 17″ tyres. It took 2 mins to go from 26.5psi to 33psi. I did all 4 tyres after deflating them to similar levels and the battery gauge didn’t budge after topping them all back up. I do like the narrow body which is nice to handle vs a chunky one. It also wasn’t horribly loud and didn’t wheeze during inflation like it might be struggling.
As it says in the describe this is really for medium sized vehicle use or smaller. I’d not sure how well it’d work on a large heavy vehicle. Save the hassle if you’re considering this for tractor sized tyres!
While it’s doddle to use, i do have a minor criticisms. I’m not a big fan of the screw on car valve . I’d have much preferred a push on valve connector with the top lever. I just find them more convenient and quicker to connect / remove without a loss of air vs unscrewing. Also the air tube doesn’t rotate freely so you have to be careful not to twist things around otherwise it can unscrew from the inflator. It’s very minor, but it also means you have to twist the tube and unit to rotate it towards you, others i’ve used only need you to rotate the inflator for a better view of the screen.
This is a good inflator for the right size vehicle and is really easy to use.
I recently tried the Rechargeable Tyre Inflator and found it to be a lifesaver. Its portability and cordless design make it easy to use for inflating car, motorcycle, or bike tyres on the go. The LED light is a handy addition for nighttime emergencies. With a maximum pressure of 150PSI, it’s powerful enough to handle most inflation needs. Overall, it’s an essential car accessory for every driver.
The Servomaster SM04 should be an absolute essential for any vehicle, its small enough to take up very little room in the back of the car, and will even fit underneath the front passenger seat.
With a standard car / van tyre adapter fitted, you are supplied a number of various screw in ends to inflate just about everything from bicycles to pool toys.
Its worth mentioning that you need to read the instruction manual before use, as when we first turned the unit on, the car symbol was displaying a measurement gauge of something that I hadn’t seen before, and no the usual PSI or Bar that we are use to, but hopefully the attached video will demonstrate just how easy it is to move between the setting.
The SM04 has a number of power options, firstly and most convenient, the built in USB-C recharge battery, and for those bigger jobs, a 12 volt ‘cigarette lighter’ style lead, that allows use to use the device whilst taking power directly from the car.
The inbuilt torch is great for when you are trying to top the tyres up in the dark, but having spent 19 years patrolling the motorway, I have never in all those years ever seen one of these devices used with its inbuilt SOS function.
Getting back to the car tyres, attaching the unit and switching it on, gives you a ‘realtime’ readout of the current pressure at the top, and pressing the on switch one more time, starts the compressor, which will automatically turn off once it has reached the desired tyre pressure.
I can’t recall the number of incidents that I have attended over the years, where tyres have been a contributing factor to the incident, and something that everyone should get into the habit of checking at least once a week, and especially before any long journey.
For the cost, the SM04 is an absolute must for anyone, and there really is no excuse not to have one in the boot of your car.
My only criticism, it looks like there is only 30 days of warranty with the product, according to the instruction manual.
