This bagpack is handy and compact, not too small or too large. It has really nice and convenient compartments and most importantly, it is made with high quality materials and zippers. It is great for day trips or hikes. Highly recommended!

I love the fact that it’s water resistant since I live in Washington. I also like that the pockets are basically split in 2 to get some separation. If you leave the zippers on one side or the other it can be hard to get a hold of the zippers to unzip the smallest pocket on the front. Overall very satisfied but wished it was a bit bigger.

I have been impressed with this pack. It is nice quality and has enough space to hold all you’d need for a day hike. It is good size as well. I am 6’3″ 280 pounds and it fits me nicely. I would definitely recommend!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis will now be my go to day pack. The material is great. It has a built in hydration bladder compartment to hold a water bladder (Not included) and routing for the tube so it’s out of the way while hiking. It has side, belly and chest straps providing good adjustments to hold the backpack comfortably against the body. The side straps snug the load you’re carrying to keep everything in place. It also has a trekking pole hanging point which can carry 2 trekking poles. It has several zippered compartments to carry a light jacket, food, hiking essential etc… There are two side mesh pockets to hold extra water bottles as well. The back is made up of two breathable strips (See in picture) to keep air circulating while keeping you cool. This backpack checks all the boxes for a great day pack. Well worth having…

I had hopes for this little backpack, but IMO it is just too small. Yes it has 2 sections, but both are small. The main section can fit some water, snacks, flashlight, a pair of dry socks, and a few other things, but that is about it. I was hoping to use it for some travels and put my laptop in it, but not a chance. A smaller tablet may fit in it, I don’t know. It does have good shoulder straps and thin waist strap. It would work great for a smaller person or for a child to carry items in.

The backpack is colorful as I went with a black one in this review.
The backpack padding is a bit more firm as opposed to other backpacks from this company.
The handle is a bit flimsy, not very durable as it broke on my other one and I had to cut it completely off.
I was hopeful for more durability on this bag, but it works great as as intended. Just be careful not to pack this too heavy or grab it by the carrying handle which isn’t well made. I took off a star over over firmness in my opinion and the flimsy handle. Other than that it works fine for whatever you need it for.

My first impression when the Skysper SP20 back pack arrived at our house was how streamlined and compact it was. The product tag states that the focus of the brand is to be safe, original, and durable. Loaded with 30 lbs of free weights wrapped in a large towel and a blanket for padding, I was surprised to see that the bag had room to spare. I set out on a vigorous, 20 minute walk. Despite being quite heavy, the thick padding in the bag kept things comfortable. In the southeast my back is usually soaked even on cool days after a hike. The ventilated padding built into the back of the bag kept me dry and cool. The shoulder straps were comfortable and stabilized the pack securely. I had to let out almost all of the slack to secure the waste belt buckle around my 34″ waste. The chest strap was also snug after releasing all available strapping. Longer straps on both the chest and waist with added padding on the latter would be welcome additions to this bag. I was impressed that the side webbing securely held 2, 32oz water bottles or a pair of size 13 crocs. The zippers worked flawlessly even with stuffed compartments. A variety of different sized compartments accommodated everything I use on a short hike. The bag is fitted with thoughtfully placed loops, buckles, and straps that firmly held a variety of items to the exterior of the pack without protruding in an unbalanced way or causing bothersome snag points. For this reason, the bag stores a deceptively large load. I intentionally packed the bag with more weight than I would ever normally carry. After the hike I checked all of the buckles and seams on the bag and everything was intact and in fine working order. With slightly longer straps I would give this bag a solid 5 stars, but I am deducting one star because of this issue..

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis one I was excited with this one after my my other was lost by the airline (airtags are a great investment). This bag is very feature rich. It tackles some of the critiques I had with my last one, and other things it doesnt quite get.

It can fit a helmet in the smaller compartment, although doing this you sacrifice that for your smaller items (at least any that could potentially fly out). The hydration compartment is great! The strap is made of Velcro and it is only a single strap. I had a hydration bladder of 2.5L and it fit very well (minus the strap) and I could also fit in my laptop (13.3″ diagonal) at the same time. REALLY good for my usage. The one thing it does not have is some insulation where the bladder would go. I realize this is probably to cater to people who chose not to use that feature, given it doesn’t come with a bladder AND the 2 water bottle holders on the side, but I digress. The back feels really good… and you can SEE through it. What I mean by that is my other had “breathable anti-sweat” in the back, like many advertise. In reality it was just some foam which will insulate and become sweaty. No doubt this will have its breaking point after hours of hiking as well, but I feel it will reach that point a lot later than the other I had. The removable hydration hose-clip was nice as well. It was on the right, I moved it to the left; great! All the straps feel good, and there is some good area to space the top ones. The bottom ones I thought you could remove… but I could not get them off. Those are the ones that I want to remove! The top ones are fine and offer some stabilization… for a biker the bottom ones just leave me paranoid about getting into the gears. That said, the bottom ones are not “American sized” I am 5’8″ around 190 with a fairly muscular build. By no means a beer gut, but not a flat stomach either. The bottom strap felt tight. For me that is no issue because I try to minimize the bottom as much as I can. Another bonus as a biker is the reflective strap in the back, which is perfect for attaching a red blinking light. A few other things to note is the inside had some good emergency info, the zippers are all of good quality and all stitching looks great. Seems very durable. Oh and a subtle thing was the middle compartment has a different colored material on the zippers than the outer one. It’s a small thing but I like it as mentally I can remember if I put it in the “yellow” zipper or the “other” compartment (there is also the smaller but that was is easy). The one thing I didn’t like about the middle compartment is that it has a single zipper. I like the double zippers so I can put them all in the middle for ease of access.

    TLDR;
    pros:
    + Fits 2.5L Hydration Bladder & 13.3″ Laptop (I think a 15″ would fit)
    + Fits Bicycle Helmet
    + Actually Breathable back
+ Removable top straps + removable bladder clip
+ Reflective Strap & Place for clip-on Red Blinking / Rear Light
+ Good Stitching, good zippers, & Durable

    cons:
    – Non-insulated bladder compartment
    – Cannot remove bottom (waist) straps & are short
    – Middle compartment only has 1 zipper (others have 2)

Overall very happy with this one!
