I recently purchased some other fire alarms from Amazon, but they kept failing all of the time. I bought these because the other ones were no good and were alarming even when there was nothing wrong. This one is much better and easy to install. It has a button to test on there and there have been no false alarms yet.
Nice product, managed to install it to the ceiling with no issues. I used the screws and not the adhesive patch. Nice to have the option of adhesive though.

Simply stuck this to the cieling, however when it’s time to remove it I’m not sure how I’ll get the sticky off the cieling without pulling off paint plater etc! I always expect to have an alarm here so when it comes to change it whatever is left on the cieling I’ll just put the new one over it. I like the AAA size battery as cheap and easy to replace unlike the so called 10 year battery life ones (yeah right). Looking forward to many years of trouble free smoke monitoring with this item.
Install using screws. Tried the sticky pad and it fell on me two days later. Apart from that it is what it is and time will tell if it lives up to the battery claims!
