This vest seems well-made, though it runs a bit small. It has a front zipper with a Velcro fastener just in case unzipping occurs. There is also a yellow safety strap with a click-in buckle. There are eight removable floats inside, which you can take out as your child becomes a better swimmer and it helps with balance in the water. Sometimes the clip pinches the skin though so you do have to be careful. All in all, this is a good-quality swim vest at a reasonable price for very young children.
This swim vest comes presented in a sturdy blue cardboard box with pictures and information about the contents.
Inside is a bright pink and purple swim vest with yellow piping, it is made from high quality skin friendly neoprene material, great for your little one’s delicate skin.
There is a zip up front with a little Velcro hastening at the top and a yellow safety strap that has click in fastener.
Inside the vest are 8 removable swim floats that you can take out the better your child gets at swimming and the more confidence they get as the vest helps with balance in the water and is great for in the swimming pool, at the beach in the sea, at a water park etc.
The child in the vest should alway be under adult supervision.
The vest is aimed at at children aged 3-6 it seems to be of a good quality but I found it a little on the small size.
The instruction leaflet has quite a few words with letter missing at the beginning but you can still read it, the one thing it does remind you importantly is that this vest is not a life jacket and will not stop your child from drowning.
This swim vest arrived nicely boxed with quite a professionally produced appearance. While most of the writing on the front of the box was not in English, the writing on the back is in English, and that includes the instructions for use of the swim vest. A multi-lingual leaflet giving further instructions was also included in the box. The vest itself was produced in China. It was nice top see that, aside from the small amount of tape that sealed the box, there was no additional unnecessary plastic packaging as the vest itself was neatly folded and placed in the box.
The vest itself comprises 8 buoyancy floats enclosed in what appears to be good quality Neoprene that is attractively coloured for the young wearer. The vest has a good quality zip, although you do need to make sure that it is properly aligned, as I found out! There is also a Velcro strap that is well placed and is useful for keeping small fingers from finding the zipper and unfastening the vest. The stitching of the vest seems very good. The vest itself is held in place by a strap that goes between the legs and is clipped in place. This clip, again, is not easy for little fingers. I am personally minded to keep a hand between clip and skin as it is the type of clip that can pinch the skin if not closed carefully. That is my only minor concern about the vest, and I think that is just my being cautious.
Overall, this is a decent quality product at a reasonable price.
It,s easy to wear comfotable and very safe with th strap going underneath, and i like being able to adust the child,s boyancy good product and work,s well.
