The Swim Vest for Kids has been a wonderful help in teaching my Kids to swim. The buoyancy is just right, giving him the support he needs without restricting his movements. The adjustable safety strap ensures a snug fit, and the bright colors (we got the blue one) make it easy to keep an eye on him.
I appreciate the quality of the material — it feels sturdy and comfortable for my child to wear for extended periods. However, I did find that the vest runs slightly small, so you might want to consider sizing up if your child is on the taller side. Despite this minor issue, the vest performs well and makes swimming lessons more enjoyable for both of us. Highly recommended for little swimmers!
This is a great product. My daughter age 7 was adamant she wouldn’t wear armbands on holidays so I ordered this. She puts it on no problem, it is comfortable and keeps her safe. Highly recommend. It probably is slowing her down learning to swim, but safety has to come first.
This best is nice fitting and has nice bright colours for childrens appeal. The kids found it a bit uncomfortable, but they’re always complaining about something. Overall seems good so far.

This swim vest is a nice looking and smart product. It is very nicely made with good quality materials. The stitching of the various materials is very secure and the straps are made of a good strong and tough material. The clips that hold the straps together are not as tight as some other swim vests that I have seen, but I think that it would be quite difficult for the average small child to undo, especially when under supervision. The lower straps are easily placed so that they can be removed by the supervising adult, but are well placed for ensuring the child cannot slip out of the swim vest by accident. The zip is easy to use and quite strong. The material covers a good volume of float. All in all, this is a good and stylish product.
Item received in good condition and all in good order. The vest fits my daughter really quite well. Standard these days but its good how it has the straps under the bottom of the vest which keeps it from riding up when in the water.
The vest is buoyant and kept her well above the water line she felt comfortable and safe wearing it. The zip and clips all work well and enable for a really good fit.
The style, design and colour is really nice and the bright colour of it makes it very easy to see in the water too.
My son needed something to help boost his confidence in the water whilst he’s learning to swim In between his swimming lessons and this has worked a treat, excellent fit with secure steps around the torso to help keep it in place and plenty of room to grow into it so hopefully a good couple of years of use to be had. Son was impressed by the colours and style and wore it happily every time we go in the pool. It also dry’s quickly after use. Only slight niggle is the zip can be a bit fiddly because of how the label is sewn in along the zip edge and it’s tricky to get it to catch but can be worked around.
Searched high and low for a vest that would actually fit my son, he’s 4 but is a big lad. Fits perfectly with some growing room but the straps can be tightened. I like that the strap goes between the legs too so it doesn’t rise up over his face in the water.
I like the look of this Periyark toddler swim vest / buoyancy aid. With the two different designed on each half it’s quite eye-catching and would suit a beach or pool.
The product makes it clear that it’s not a life jacket and is aimed to be a swim training aid to give more confidence when learning to swim. It will also give you some peace of mind if you have little ones in and out a pool on holiday that are pretty confident themselves already.
The straps on this vest are good. The clips fasten securely and,as you’d expect, are adjustable to adapt as your child grows. If say the age rating of age 3-6 is pretty spot on. Fits a 4 year old here very well.
With these type of vests it’s quite often a problem that they ride up easily and so having the under-crotch strap to prevent this is also a bonus feature as a lot of similar vests don’t have this feature, it’s normally only proper life jackets that you would see this.
My only complaint is about the zip. The zip is tucked away behind strips of edging each side and so to actually get the zip visible you kind of have to fold back the edges to be able to do the zip up. Not a major problem just a bit fiddly. However on my vest the zip part actually is very jagged and sharp (see picture)- gave me a heck of a scratch. I can smooth this off quite easily with some scissors but beware in case this is part of the design.
I’ve dropped a star as a child’s item particularly should not have sharp edges to it at all.
Otherwise it’s a really nice vest at a relatively good price considering the quality feels pretty good too. 4 stars from me.
